Great apartment, great holiday!
We stayed in a studio apartment in the Nieuwmarkt area, in Amsterdam and we really loved it, it was exactly what we were expecting when we made the booking. The apartment was very clean, recently re-decorated and kitchen fully equipped with everything we needed. All in all, a very good experience and I'd definitely recommend them!

Great Location, Apartment and Service from Loving Apartments
We book a lot of apartments for holidays abroad and this was our first experience with loving apartments. The quality of service received was excellent from the moment we booked through to arrival and check out it was seamless. The apartment was excellent, great value and was exactly as described on the website. The apartment came with all mod cons and was well stocked with kitchen essentials, all the extras we asked for were there when we arrived (which is typically where some companies fall down). All in all a great experience and we will use them again. The apartment we stayed in was Kozi 1 in Prague - enourmous and very central, go if you get a chance!

We were staying at Keizersgracht 23 with a group of 6 friends. The house is very spacious and well renovated. We felt "at home" there. The pictures on the booking webpage were absolutely accurate, no surprises. We hope to come back next year.

Two apartments booked, no problems with booking process, but....
First apartment was booked in Amsterdam ( Prinsengracht ), i`m talking about expensive apartment over 2000Euro/week...the booking process excellent. Apartment was not so well described, however with all -small- problems that we encounter, we enjoyed it and i fully recommend it. Good quality of living, equipments and temperature control.
Second apartment was in Paris, couple of days ago.
Expensive, over 2200 Euros/week.
The apartment WAS nice ( 20 years ago, MAYBE ) , however it needs a FULL RENOVATION to make it worth the money.
Probably nobody passed by for a long time there to make a little maintenance here and there.
Heating was not working - at the end of November !!! with temperatures close to 32F - however the manager bring another electric radiator but only after my request and we manage to have acceptable temperature in 2 rooms.Pointless to say that wind was blowing below every door and window. The rest of the house was like a freezer, the terrace where you suppose to have dinner cannot be used due to low temperature. The electric AC on the wall was not working ( only cooling- No thanks!) Generally, the electric equipment in the apartment is obsolete or defective.
The TV was a joke, remote control not working, few French programs, the rest not accessible, because nobody payed the extra programs.Anyhow, were not in Paris to watch TV, but for that money, they should have a decent TV with few international programs.
Website advertise that you will have your own telescope on the balcony...well, you have it but dismantled. Anyway, it`s so cold there that you don`t wanna stay more than 2 minutes.
You have internet, wireless. Cannot even watch a clip on Youtube, it needs 2 years to download 1Mb. Good only to check your mail.
Kitchen have all necessary utensils and whatever you need for cooking, some water, bottle of wine from greeter, coffee, spices etc. That`s nice. The extractor above cooking machine was not working so all smell and steam was going around kitchen. The sink drain was clogged.
All windows are rusty and stuck. Some glasses are cracked. Some glasses replaced with plastic and "sealed" with silicone...wow, this is modern French style?!
You can expect this kind of door frames-windows in your backyard shed, not in this central Paris apartment.
The bedroom was very clean, including bed sheets and towels.
The bed was very uncomfortable, if you move a little you can fell down, the mattress was higher in the middle of the bed.
Greeters were polite and helpful.
Do not accept airport transfer to be arranged by them. It costs double than taxi. 35 Euros from Airport with Taxi, 70 Euros from apartment to airport, arranged by manager.
The problem with heating was not something that owner or manager can control.
It was a problem with the building piping, however since they did knew about the problem way before my arrival ( 10 days) , they should INFORM ME so i can CANCEL !!
Overall, i`ve had good experience regarding booking process...good experience with Amsterdam apartment, disappointing experience in Paris. The apartment ( Victor Hugo ) was -is- a junkyard. Stay away from it in the cold season, or better stay away from it all seasons.
I`m seriously thinking IF i`m gonna use Loving Apartments in the future....

Dear Kate,
your statement that they "provided a private car service free of charge" is not reflecting the reality.
As i mentioned in the e-mail i sent, there was no "free of charge" transportation, i paid 70 Euros to the driver upon arrival at the airport.
I also explained why i did not contact you, changing the apartment was not a solution for me due to a very very tight schedule.
This is why i choose your company, in order not to have any problems that can delay my appointments.Making phone calls and moving around Paris with my luggage late at night, in order to find some other apartment that maybe or maybe not be satisfactory for me, was not an option.
Apartment management was not informing you and of course nobody informed me about heating problem.
However, when i called them prior to my arrival - 3 days before - they stated that "EVERYTHING IS FINE AND THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS"
Obvious, that was not the truth.
Please accept my suggestion and in the future try to cooperate with more serious persons.

Unclear that we had to pay the full amount at booking
We found the perfect apartment for our holiday, so we booked it.
The email you receive after making an enquiry is clear, I thought; pay the deposit to book it.
So I did.
A couple of hours later I receive a phonecall from the bank; the creditcard has been blocked because there were 2 transactions, and the 2nd took it way beyond spending limit. The first was the deposit, correct amount, made by loving apartments, the second was huge and by a different company.
But when I stared calculation I came to the conclusion that this might actually be the remainder of the money which I expected to pay later.
After calling Loving Apartments they confirmed this 2nd transaction was indeed the property manager and that it said on the website that full amount was due on booking.
I went back, checked it, and my booking confirmation and they indeed state that in addition to the deposit the full amount is due at booking.
I had completely missed this small sentence (which is my fault, but) because Loving apartment constantly talks about the deposit, and not about the rest, which might be because each property manager has different policies for that, but I think it should be more attention drawn to this weird anomaly of having to pay in full at booking.

Amsterdam Chic
We are just back from a fab 3 night stay in the gorgeous Palm apartment in the Jordaan, Amsterdam. The location was excellent - stunning canal walks with great little atmospheric bars/ restauarnts and gorgeous boutique style shops. The best restaurant was De Belhamel which is so close to apartment with great food and stunning canal views. Our greeter was so friendly, showed us round his own house and walked us to the nearest bar so we got our bearings! We met the owners (Jan) of that Palm apartments who were so warm and friendly & they even took us to the airport. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, very well stocked with amazing bed (better than my own) and a fab wet room. The whole experience is one that we intend to repeat at Easter it was that good - ideal for couples.

Do not trust this company
Myself and four others are running the Berlin marathon at the end of September 2012. We have family coming out to support us making a total group of about 20.
We booked two apartments in Berlin using lovingapartments by April 2012. Deposits were taken and arrival information given.
It's now two weeks to the marathon, one of the busiest weekends of the year in Berlin and both apartments have been cancelled with the same reason sited. The apartment has flooded. They aren't in the same building. They are half a mile apart.
The alternatives the company offered were truly awful and when I spoke to them they just shrugged and said sorry there is nothing we can do.
We now have to find alternative accommodation with less than three weeks to go. The cost of hotels is now astronomical.
My advice would be to avoid this company like the plague as they will leave you high and dry without a second thought.

Just booked our apartment...
...for my 21st birthday! After looking at various hotels in Amsterdam, I wasn't very impressed with any of them. Then I came across Loving Apartments! All the apartments look so lovely, but we have chosen Amstel Comfort - a beautiful apartment in the centre of Amsterdam and so affordable! I am really excited. First time using a short-stay apartment but so far there has been great communication and an easy-to-use web service. I can't wait to get there!
