The experience overall was very good but the handover of the caravan could have been better.

We were served by Mathew and he looked after us well being most helpful on most matters especially as motor homing was an area that neither my wife or myself have any experience in. To date any dealings that we have had with their staff have only been very good.

The buying process was smooth and easy.

But.

The aftercare leaves a lot to be desired. The issues the van had that should have been resolved before collection were not. The issues that developed over the first week or so of usage, nothing big, were handled badly. I was asked to repair things myself or told to wait for 5-6 months for a repair slot. The van was 2500 miles old and had 12 months warranty so this is not ideal. Only by getting through to the dealership manager and turning up on site with my van and talking about the 30 day return period for a full refund did I get the right response.
I love the van I have, but not sure I'll be a returning customer.

I do need to call out Frankie from Huddersfield, she has been incredibly helpful and understanding of my frustration with how things have been handled.

After some back and forth with support again from Frankie, the van is now working as it should be. Hopefully any further issues can be handled through the service function but for now all is well.

Emma was exceptionally helpful when buying our new van, no pressure selling, no hassle and excellent backup following our purchase. The new van was competitively priced and we given a very fair valuation for our old van. Well done Emma.

Great service from Lowdhams....the motor home had a few issues but is down to manufacturers and Lowdhams are sort these out once parts arrive in.

New caravan was handed over to us with multipule faults, interior damage & fittings not 100%. Bathroom leaks. electrical problems.

We felt we were hustled to accept as is, and sort problems out later.

All things were brilliant up to after we bought the caravan , we noticed dirty marks on the bedding upholstery I informed Callum and said that I would email photos of the same I did this on the 12 th May 21 and got no response, I then emailed the photos to the Lowdens website I received a reply saying it would be forwarded to the correct parties I have phoned to speak to Callum several times and have been assured that he would retry my call the last time today “no joy” regards JohnWild

Excellent care and attention from both sales and service departments. Highly recommended.

The purchasing process was good we found the van we really wanted there and Matthew was very friendly and helpful . I have deducted a star because we still have some outstanding issues
1. When we got home we noticed the reversing camera was fogged that now needs a warranty claim
2. We are still waiting for our navigation card after 2 weeks
3. Alarm and tracking work hadn’t been done at the time of collection.

As long as the warranty claim isn’t a prolonged process I would be happy to recommend and use them in the future .

After trying to phone service to get my shower repaired on my 8month old swift basecamp it took 5 hours for them to ring me . I was told that i was very lucky they answered me i 5 hours . how very rude . I will never deal with this company again

A very easy buying experience. We bought the van on line as we live a fair distance away. Richard did us a live video tour which was great and informative. On the day of pick up the Covid measures in place put me at ease and Richard talked me through everything and was very helpful. The van is fantastic and we are looking forward to many holidays in it.
