My husband and I are experienced caravaners and made numberous visits to Lowdham’s over the recent months, whilst deciding on the model and layout that best suited us. All the staff have extremely helpful, with a relaxed non pushy approach. I would like to thank all the staff at Lowdham’s especially Emma Keighley for ensuring continuous communication, information, explanation and the seamless purchase of our Swift, (thanks for going the extra mile). Generally good service though a few niggles.
Agreed a part exchange figure and was offered the opportunity to sell private, if not sold private they would honour there original offer which I thought was very fair.
On viewing the Motorhome there was A fault with the glass trim above the front windows which was out of line Which I pointed out. Unfortunately it was still there when I picked The Motorhome up some 3 weeks later and was told it would be done under warranty. Should of been sorted. Now I have to bring it back in my own time.
On taking delivery of the vehicle on the drive home a constant squeal could be heard from the rear wheels, on contacting lowdhams they proffesed not to of heard it when moving the vehicle to PDI check and cleaning bay, this was impossible as it was so loud people stopped and stared in the street. On contacting lowdhams they suggested “I” should contact Stonescre the DPI company for a investigation of the squeal noise. They couldn’t fit us in for nearly 2 weeks, not good when you want to go away in your new Motorhome. I left messages with lowdhams to contact me To see if they could improve the investigation from Stonacre but didn’t get a response. Not good when you have just spent best part of 70,000 on the vehicle. In the end with a mechanics aid I removed the rear wheel to find the inner dust protection plate was scraping on the side of the brake disc, this was easily rectified and now the squeal is no more. Slightly took the edge off what was otherwise a enjoyable experience.

A bit disappointed in the fact that I booked a time to pick up my van at 9:30 and was still sat waiting past 12:00 ,Pick up am and any problems you find we can sort out then and there , they told me to look around van ,I pointed out the rail that held the door wanted to be tightened , I was told it was done when I eventually could back my car up to take van , after waiting so long I just wanted to leave and get back to work , so never checked door that never got touched and still loose .
When going round van telling me what things did ,a flap that covered the bbq gas connection got broken , but that’s ok I was told because when I bring it back next year for a service they would fix it free of charge , I think probably not
I understand things aren’t good at moment but because your busy doesn’t mean your customer service should be poor
If I buy a second hand van why did I have to buy a battery and gas bottle for van when surely it was traded in with them, £18k and I had to buy a £50 gas bottle .Brand new van I get it but second hand ?
Little things like this made my excitement for getting the van a pretty disappointing event

I found your staff very helpful & curtious during changing my caravan. We had an excellent tour of the new to us van showing us the various fixtures we were not familiar with. I had a slight prob with my number plate not being correct, I phoned on Fri Am to correct it & the new plate was at my house on Sat lunch time . Well done that man quicker than Amozan. Thanks for the good experience John Pickup

Many things wrong when collecting had to leave and collect another time.
Motorhome not clean fault not fixed.
Now having to take back again to sort out faults after 2 months
Customer service not good.

Dealing with Lowdhams Huddersfield was a relatively good experience and we would deal with them again they were pretty fair from start to finish. So far they are acknowledging the view issues we have and again are been fair and consistent in the approach to dealing with us. Thank you.
Excellent service from all of the staff at Lowdhams from our initial meeting with Rich, viewing the caravan we’d seen on the website, purchasing and collection. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a bizarre time to view and purchase a caravan post lockdown due to Covid-19! We felt safe and were treated as valued customers. We would highly recommend.
Not a bad service but there are things that can be improved. I specifically asked if the caravan would be cleaned prior to handover to me and I was advised that it would. Upon use I found the microwave had food deposits inside and the cupboards were unclean. I was promised a follow-up phone call after taking delivery of my purchase but this did not occur. I believe that this call is a very important part of a sales environment as it shows that there is a care element and not simply “got your money, goodbye”. My sales person was not available at the time of collection and the young man that actually conducted the handover wasn’t the most knowledgeable, or certainly didn’t appear to be.
Overall, I would award Lowdhams 7/10. Room for improvement.

hand over was ok . toilet would not flush on getting back home so had to unblock this should have been picked up on hand over. they did not have any gas for sale so got some from home . all in all not to bad but attention to detail would not go amiss

Happy with price paid for caravan but not told that I would have to purchase this when I was ready to leave and you started to remove your battery
The caravan demonstration video was not sent to me prior to picking van up I had to download it when picking van up which used all my data and could not fully download load until I got home
