I want to share my experience with Luxe by She so others can avoid the same situation.
Order number: #5477

I ordered Genius Weft Human Hair Extensions in two shades, including Silver. The product shown on their website clearly displays an ultra-thin, 1–2 mm weft, which is the standard look of a genuine Genius Weft.

What I received was nothing like the advertised product.

🔴 What I received:

• Very thick, 8–10 mm machine-sewn wefts
• Double machine weft, not Genius Weft
• Visible zig-zag sewing and bulky stitching
• Not flexible, not thin, not premium
• Both shades were incorrect — the “Silver” shade I ordered arrived as a warm blonde/yellow tone

The products I received do not match the images, the description, or the quality level Luxe by She advertises. They are completely different items, worth a fraction of the price.

🔴 Customer service:

After receiving the wrong items, I contacted the company multiple times.
I received no answer.
No help, no replacement, no refund, no communication.

🔴 How I resolved it:

I opened a dispute with Klarna, because what I received was clearly “Item Not As Described.”
Klarna paused my payments and stepped in because the seller did not respond.

🔴 Why I am sharing this:

Many customers deserve to know what they might receive.
What is advertised on the Luxe by She website is not what I received in reality.
The lack of customer support made the situation even worse.

I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision before ordering

Please keep your correspondence via the customer service email only rather than multiple platforms to avoid any confusion and delays.

The customer service team has replied via email and we are very keen to get this resolved for you.

I am very sorry that you are not happy with your product. A member from the production team has been in touch.

Once we receive your return the returns team will Inspect the product and an Investigation can be carried out if needed.

We do work very hard to ensure that all online product images and shades are a true match. However we do highly recommend ordering a color ring or some shade swatches before placing your hair extensions order to ensure a perfect match.

Please kindly reply via the customer care email trail and we can get this resolved for you asap.

DONT NOT BUY HAIR FROM HERE IT GETS…

UPDATE - have said there was an issue with the delivery address I provided??? And I’ve never once had emails going back and fourth about the delivery, again I have proof of this. They never made me aware of this, and for regular contant I have proof that the last message I sent about my nanos being purple/silver at the the tips was ignored.

NOT BUY HAIR FROM HERE IT GETS SHIPPED FROM CHINA, MEANT TO BE 1-4 DAY DELIVERY AND IM NOW ON DAY 5 AND ITS STILL IN CHINA

Being completely transparent with our customers is very important to us here are luxe by she and the shipping policy page does include all of the information that our customers need to know.

We offer a 1-4 working days express shipping service.

Orders are prepared and shipped asap.

The team work hard along side the courier to ensure each order is delivered on time and we are proud to say that 99% of orders are delivered with in this time frame.

Unfortunately with any brand or courier service there is the odd order from time to time that may experience some delays.

I can see that the team had been in regular contact with yourself and had contacted the courier on multiple occasions to help escalate this for you and that there had been a delay due to the address provided.

Customer service was amazing they really helped me choose the right method of extensions for my hair. They offer a wide colour range to suit everyone’s different hair colours and the website is so easy to use!!

The lengths are perfect, the hair is so shiny and soft, you can’t even tell you have extentions in! I got recommended by a friend to use this hair and it really didn’t disappoint. Thankyou girlies!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Firstly I had bought hair with metal nano tips as shown online but was sent plastic nanos so had to get this sorted and after about 20 emails I finally had a response. Had the hair fitted on the 20th of January by my hairdresser and the hair was removed by May. I’ve worn hair extensions for years and tried many company’s but this has to be the worst hair I have ever used! One drop of rain and the hair mattes absolute waste of money. I only use sulphate free shampoo and conditioner and only hair extension friendly products however the hair is just terrible quality. I wish I waited for my usual brands hair to come back in stock instead of wasting £500. When I had the hair in it would just get so knotted so quickly after a brush and when you would brush so much hair would come out. Genuinely would not recommend!

I can see that you had mentioned that you had worn the hair extensions for sometime with out following the correct aftercare or using the recommended shampoos or hair care products. Failing to follow these guidelines will result in the hair extensions becoming damaged.

Reviewed my review - positive outcome

Much better customer service! 🙌🏻

After some back and forth, the Luxe by SHE team managed to address my concerns and have now fully resolved the issue. I really appreciate the time and effort they took to put things right. While I understand they are a small team, my only feedback would be to try and speed up the returns process and provide clearer communication throughout. That said, despite my rather persistent follow-ups, the team remained polite and professional at all times.

I had initially ordered two sets of hair and was disappointed to find that the colours I received looked quite different from those shown on social media. After returning the items and experiencing some delays, the team ultimately ensured my refund was processed and my concerns were taken seriously.

Thank you to Luxe by SHE for resolving the matter I do appreciate the professionalism shown, and I hope the feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

Dropshipping company - scam!

Edit: They have tried to fight the claim with the bank even though I’ve never received the item nor received a refund from them. Hilarious. Also their response- it’s NOT clearly on their website, I’ve reported them for this. 4 day express delivery option is a clear indication it’ll come from china?

Dropshipping company. Outright lying that’s it’s ethically sourced. It’s Sent directly from a factory in china. No replies on customer service. I requested to cancel, no response, luckily fed-ex is returning the order & I will get a refund from my bank if they don’t.

UPDATE: the team (Clearly using Chat GPT) only got in touch with me 5 days after my request to cancel (I discovered a international shipping label created - not shipped - created, so I was horrified and requested to cancel as they said they’re a local UK based supplier and even had 1-4 day express shipping on their checkout - again making out they’re a local service as it’s impossible for 4 day shipping from china), but by this point - I had approached my bank who advised me to refuse the order, as it was unlawfully sent.

They told me they couldn’t cancel as under their policy when it’s already being processed, it can’t be cancelled.

I cancelled before dispatch, which is my legal right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Under Regulation 34(1), a trader must refund all payments within 14 days of being informed of a cancellation

They then emailed me telling me they would only refund me if I accepted the parcel and had it rerouted to a different PO address. My bank HIGHLY advised against this, and to carry on refusing the order.

Once the 15 days had passed, I could chargeback my bank, which I have done. I have successfully have had a refund from my bank. They sent me multiple emails since, telling me I’m not working with them (for following my banks advice)

They did not offer me any refund unless I followed their rules of accepting a delivery I cancelled within the law timeframe.

FedEx confirmed that it was delivered back to their factory in china, and they’ve emailed only then saying they will refund, however it’s pointless because my bank has already sorted the issue and I refuse to have anything to do with them ever again. It was honestly a horrific experience.

They’ve since emailed me again asking me to remove this review, which I will not do but instead have updated.

As an extension to my previous review…

As an extension to my previous review it is now October and I am going back and forth about an order made in April ! I have chased this multiple times and still no resolution. I want my money back as they have not fulfilled the sale. I am £500 down and they are not responding to my emails . The problem occurred as you changed the courier from Evri (as your website still states) to FedEx ! The post office don’t accept FedEx, why would you change it as this isn’t what was agreed on with the sale !!

Update - I have been contacting support since April and I have send them the emails form the post office and to show that they haven’t received it and the email even stated they have checked the cctv ! Stop scamming your customers

Definitely purchase again, amazing quality

I had recently tried out Luxebyshe hair extensions, and I can give an endless list of why I’d rate them a 5 star brand. The delivery was so quick, the quality of my hair extensions is amazing, I’m obsessed! I struggled to know what colour to choose and the customer service team were so friendly and quick to help, with response times being great. There was a great choice of shades and different lengths, but long is always my favourite!

I first came across them as my friends have been using the double drawn high quality hair so I had been recommended by many! They have used the hair for years and it is still in amazing condition, stunning shiny and super soft!! The thickness has also held so well.

I’ve had such an amazing experience…

I’ve had such an amazing experience with Luxe by She Hair. The customer service was genuinely outstanding. The team were so friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to every question. My order arrived with super fast delivery and the website was really easy to use, which made the whole process simple.

I’m obsessed with the choice of lengths and the beautiful range of shades. My colour match was absolutely perfect. The hair itself is double drawn, super soft, silky, and so shiny. You can really feel the high quality. It’s also incredibly thick, which makes it look so natural when fitted.

A friend of mine has worn Luxe by She Hair for years and swears by it, so I knew I was in good hands and now I completely see why it’s recommended by so many. The hair is even reusable, which makes it such great value. I’m honestly so impressed and wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

I ordered hair for express delivery it has been a week was supposed to come last Thursday never arrived! Emailed them 4 times no reply! I have to wait a few days before I can do a reverse fraud transaction through my bank! Hopefully get my money back , they never sent any hair and stole over £300 of my money!!! SCAMMERS!

AMAZING HAIR!

The best quality hair I’ve tried! I’ve ordered a clip in piece and the quality of the hair is amazing and it’s super thick! Customer service has been great! Had a hair fitting appointment booked but they had moved salons and did not inform me. After communicating this with a hairdresser at the salon, they had lied and said they did inform me through email. When I asked to see the email they supposedly sent they could not provide me one. Do not go. They will waste your money and time
