Do not buy from this scam company. They send you terrible quality fakes then block you when you ask for a refund. Absolute fraudsters.

Don’t order from this London boutique…

Don’t order from this London boutique that is closing down, as the goods are actually shipped from China. I wonder if there even is a boutique! There are plenty of reviews like mine with people battling to get refunds for orders not received or for shoddy goods, Get in touch with your credit card company, I’ve got a refund from mine.

I’m going through exactly the same as…

I’m going through exactly the same as other posters here, placed 3 orders (🤦‍♀️) then when I received the ‘tracking’ info from China I realised what I’d done. I immediately cancelled all 3 orders and have been battling with them ever since, the orders were shipped, then they weren’t, they agreed all 3 refunds then only refunded the smallest one. Then a sob story of how they are just a small business and cancelling orders affects them badly, when I asked how is that possible when they are closing down I get ‘Margaret’ emailing me again saying she understands my frustration and they have escalated my case to the correct department 😂. My credit card company are refunding me and now I’m being asked by Luxelle why I’m doing this, you couldn’t make it up! Avoid at all costs!!! Just found out they also trade under the name Clare London with a similar sob story of a mother wanting to spend more time with her children - exactly the same set up and reviews the same as these.

This is a SCAM in the most horrible…

This is a SCAM in the most horrible way. Posting as a boutique in London facing closure by two sisters apparently heartbroken. I recently was forced to close my own boutique after 36 years and I was truly honestly heartbroken. I offered huge genuine discounts before closing and took this post on FB as genuine. I've contacted by credit card company who are looking into Luxelle London so hopefully I will get my money back. Purchased two things as Christmas presents. Wish I had checked trust pilot first. DO NOT BUY from this company or any others selling a sob story!!!

Yet another Facebook scam

Like everyone else I was taken in by the Facebook ad and thought it was a UK company. I ordered a wool jacket. When it finally arrived it was totally rubbish. Cheap and nasty material, sizing all wrong and it was obviously fri China. I blame myself because I have been scammed before. I contacted them to make a return. They offered me 15% discount on a product that can only be used as rags and it’ll cost me £20 to return with little chance of them ever giving me my money back.PLEASE DO NOT GET SUCKED IN BY, IT MUST BE SAID, REALLY GOOD ADVERTISING. ITS A COMPANY IN CHINA NOT THE UK .

BELOW ZERO Stars

BELOW ZERO Stars! SCAM!!!!! Warning SCAM!!!!!
I placed an order for a coat at 70% off to the value of £59.95 when I went to pay for it they said you get a further discount and the item will be £41.97. Click the button now if you would like to claim this extra discount, so I did. They then proceeded to debit my account with both £59,95 and £41.97 for only 1 item, Which then caused me to be very suspicious and I started looking up Chat GPT and Trust pilot to realise it is a scam, not one good word said about them! 1 star all the way! Bank can’t do anything til goods arrive in a couple of weeks, as the amount is PENDING which can’t be cancelled. Got the whole tedious procedure to go through to fight to get my money back!
My bank however will raise a dispute and appoint Visa to contact Luxelle London CHINA to get a full refund of £101.92.
What a shame there aren’t more genuine people in this world. Shame on you Luxelle!!!!

SCAMMERS

I have tried to cancel my order even though it has not been despatched but they are refusing. The website said 2-4 day delivery. When i checked i realised they are not in London. So I am away when it is due for delivery (if it does arrive) so if it gets delivered it will be stolen. If it does arrive after i return I will not accept and RTS. They have been given the option to stop it but they offered to delay it until I return so they can stop it. Latest email is saying that if I want to return I will have to do it as store is closing soon. WHAT STORE. IT DOES NOT EXIST. That is why you must not deal with companies in China as more often then not they take your money but don't deliver or when they do it is such bad quality. My credit card company are aware so I will get my money back some how but they clearly are thieves and liars.

Fraudulent company. Do not use

I cancelled my order immediately when I realised it was a scam. Luxelle refused to refund me at first making out the order was ‘on its way’ which I pointed out was impossible as I placed it Sunday evening and their ‘store in London’ had not even opened to arrange a dispatch - clearly this store was all fake and they were replying from China. I then called my bank and reported that I had been scammed very early on Monday morning. They recommended I cancelled my credit card which I did and also raised a a transaction dispute! I then wrote several emails to Luxelle telling them they had been rumbled and to refund me. I also reported them to Action Fraud. I have just received a refund on my credit card - not sure if it was down to the disputed payment I raised through my bank or the string of abusive emails I sent to Luxelle but I got the result I wanted. If you are in this position contact your bank, they might be able to put a block on the payment or you can raise a dispute transaction. I have also reported the page to Facebook several times as being a scam but they have done nothing and it is still luring people into making purchases.

This is a SCAM from China.

*UPDATE- I bombarded them with emails telling them I knew it was a scam, at first they tried to bat me off it was only when I threatened to report them for fraud & to customs did they shift, apparently the items which had ‘shipped’ immediately actually hadn’t & eventually today I got a full refund* This is a SCAM from China.. which I fell for! Quite clever with a sob story of two sisters in London whose business is closing.. tried cancelling within hours of the order but they refused & my bank refused to stop the transaction.. lesson learned & £62 out of pocket.. if it looks too good to be true it probably is :(

Absolutely disgraceful company

Absolutely disgraceful company. I placed an order as it looked genuine. The website and facebook advert says it’s a London based boutique that’s closing. They advertise lovely looking quality clothing at hugely discounted prices. However. I’ve read reviews advising that it’s cheap and nasty clothing from china. If you want to return, it costs a fortune.

I stupidly placed an order for just short of £200. After reading reviews, I contacted them immediately, like within 10 minutes to cancel and was told that they were already processing my order and that I could not cancel! Ludicrous! After mss as my emails, they are still maintaining that I’m unable to cancel.

I will await my goods, and I will be returning every item, regardless of the cost to do so. Absolute robbery!

Scam site

I read your reviews and posted on their Facebook feed to warn others! Guess what?! My comment was removed and I’ve been blocked. Speaks for itself don’t you think!
What alerted me was the spelling of the word colour - they had it as color. No English company would get that wrong!!

Looks like a scam

Almost bought something but noticed a leather jacket for a ridiculous price and that made
me suspicious, now I can see all the other reviews - glad I didn’t fall for it! Seriously the scams today…

Not a genuine English store

The clothes looked lovely and I very tempted to order some cashmere jumpers but luckily there were a few things on the website that made me suspicious e.g says it is the last day of closing down sale every day, no return address given until order placed, customer must pay for returns even for faulty items, prices are too good to be true! I am so pleased I did some research before I placed an order.

CHINESE SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
MORAL OF THE STORY: Check trust pilot first
As mentioned in earlier reviews, from other consumers, this company are scammers and should be reported to trading standards in the UK but trading standards have no control of what happens in Meta/shopify. Luxelle are using a fake email address from shopify to make it appear more legitimate but I have a shopify account and have reported them for investigation although that will probably come back as a company not known. I am convinced the email account is a spam one as it is not in the correct format. I had to enter the order confirmation URL and Shopify rejected that too which is further proof. I am a meta business customer so will report them to META but it will be pointless as they will just start up with a new company name, new story but same goods! Many consumers have reported that they charge £20.00 to return to China but it can be done cheaper. They return the goods but no refund is ever received.
I have not received the goods yet as I only ordered yesterday. I ordered a lot of Christmas presents, that look like they are headed for charity shops or the clothes bank in the recycling centre based on the reviews below. It is also the reason they never ask for reviews. If you notice at the top when submitting a review there is no request from the company to review them. I wonder why?
I have already contacted Luxelle about this so this review will not be unexpected.

Not worth one star

Not worth one star. Do not be fooled by the sob story that they are closing their store. They are not in London as they express, they are cheap Chinese tatty goods which will cost you more to return than the goods are actually worth.

£17 to return my items and no refund given!!

It cost me £17 to return my items to Luxelle LONDON in China! (following very polite and professional email exchange) and I was assured I would receive a refund but it never materialised. They are now not answering my emails!!! So I've lost the money spent on the clothing plus the £17 postage! Still hoping they do the honorable thing and refund me ...
