I was very disappointed with my recent order of Hornbeam logs, because at least a third of the crate where not logs, but what I would describe as kindling! They appeared to be very small branches split in half. Needless to say, they burnt away in no time, and their calorific value was negligible. Definitely not the usual standard of logs that I have received from you in the past. i

Quick delivery and the kiln dried oak logs. Good quality and burn really well. Very pleased. Shame the option of the 2 net bags for £19 was out of stock weekend of 20th Jan but hope to order more in the future. Can certainly recommend both company and product.

Very Good delivery as I wasnt in and had to leave a note for the delivery driver and the logs were placed exactly where I wanted them, the quality of the wood when it burns is excellent, and as I ordered it in nets it was much easier to carry and store to the rear of the house

There product is well priced neatly packed and delivery is excellent. Customer service is spot on 5starsxall round.

I regularly use luxury wood but this time there are quite a lot of small pieces which I would consider kindling so disappointed with the quality

Wasn’t looking forward to the delivery - a lot of lifting (I’m 83) - but the driver asked where to unload. I showed him the woodshed and he reversed his 7.5 tonner into the driveway and cheerfully stored each item, chatting to me whilst he did. On leaving he suggested that next time I order to make sure it’s delivered via a 3.5 ton lorry due to access through the gate.

Quality very dry uniform sized logs delivered when they say they will. Average price for logs that burn well.

I’ve been dealing with this company for a year and find them efficient, professional brilliant team to deal with.

Delivery was very quick but I was disappointed with the wood,it was quite damp but it’s also a very soft wood that burns far too quickly so not particularly good value. I’d rather pay more for a longer burning log.
This may have been my fault of course but I didn’t see an option for harder wood on the website.

Wood brilliant, on line booking good, communication on WHEN the delivery was coming AWFUL. E mails were sent AFTER delivery. Driver brilliant but no text to advise day of delivery in advance and it was by luck that we were at home. Not good enough.

A bit of an unwelcome change after my last purchase from LWC. Average net weight previously (I have some left) 10.2kgs. Equivalent sample average this time 7.7kgs. Smaller nets, much smaller logs so shrinkflation has definitely crept in. From 700kgs to 540kgs is quite a hit. Good points: excellent delivery, helpful driver, wood burns well, if quickly due to small log size. Will probably look elsewhere next time.

Just had my pallet of kiln dried oak logs delivered and after moving them to my wood store I can't believe how good the logs are, this is my sixth pallet from them, I was a bit disappointed with my last pallet but this one far makes up for that. I will definately be ordering again and also recommending to my friends.

Very straight forward particularly the different ways to pay

Great heat from the oak logs and extra burning time so less used, will definitely be using LWC again
