I booked on 5th of May an appointment…
I booked on 5th of May an appointment through my company private insurance with Miss Safina Ali at LycaHealth in Westferry circus for 11th because I have something in my ear. After check, for 30 seconds, she told me to put in some almond oil, I told her that it was the last month that I could take advantage of the job insurance, and received as answer It's not a problem and she would contact me again for further verification. I put the almond oil in my ear like she said but nothing has changed, no one contacted me and now I have to go to another doctor and pay to remove the thing. Embarrassing, does this mean taking care of the patient?

So much went wrong with Lycahealth that I doubt I'll be able to type it all out. The worst things were probably the receptionist giving me another patients' appointment details (and presumably giving mine to someone else), which is a massive GDPR breach, my doctor giving me advice that every other professional I've seen agrees in outdated and incorrect, and reception making me pay by bank transfer on the spot as their card machine wasnt working. My bank doesnt allow me to add new payees without two factor authenication to prevent fraud, and I had planned to pay by credit card as it was a large amount - I always make large purchases on my credit card for the extra security. I discussed this with reception over the phone in the morning, then was told it wasnt possible upon arrival when it was too late.
Even now I still don't have my follow up letter from my appointment, but I'm no longer chasing it as I've gone elsewhere. I'm out around £800 in total for nothing but stress and a massive delay to receiving proper treatment. I haven't even raised a complaint with them because I doubt their ability to address it appropriately, or to store my data securely!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
Awful company pretending to be private and impartial. (opened by Boris Johnson). Covered up parts of my scan with grey squares (see google review) to help the NHS cover up negligence, they even let NHS staff that do not work for them write my reports.
Took £1000 and lied.
Full story will be online soon with images and reports.
Please ignore lyca healths response and see google review for scan report & images.

Good Experience for an MRI scan
Used Lyca Health for an MRI scan in June. Staff were pleasant, scan experience was good. Received results within a week and was able to forward on to my NHS consultant, they also sent the images to the hospital so the consultant could access them to arrange further tests and follow up.
Useless
Having trouble with an old broken hand injury. So called them and explained the situation and was told I needed to speak to one of their doctors on the phone which would cost £50. Paid this and explained to the doctor my problems with my hand and she said yes come in and get an x-ray. I said I wanted the results sent to me and not my usual NHS doctor. Yes that's fine, and it's £140. So got the train to London (another £35) and sat and waited to go in. Filled out my forms. Went in and had two x-rays done. I'd like to point out my little finger is seriously bent due to old injury. The x-ray doctor got hold of my little finger and tried to bend it straight for the x-ray which made me shout ow it doesn't straighten that's part of the reason I'm here. After it was done he said we will send it to your doctor. I went back to reception and said the x-ray man said it's going to my doctor. Lady at desk says yes that's right. I said no it's being sent to my email and not to my doctor. She then argued no you were referred by a doctor so it goes to them. Again I said no I paid £50 for a phone consultation with your doctor and the results are being sent to me. Oh sorry she said that's ok then we will send to you later. So I left and waited. After 2 days of not getting the email I phoned them again and said I haven't received my results yet. She said they were sent your doctor. Grrrr. I then frustrated said look this is now the third time I've had this discussion and the results are not for my doctor they are for myself. I explained the whole process from the start again to her and she said ok I'll send them now. A couple of minutes later the email and report popped in my box. Well what a complete waste of all the time and money. It was completely crap. I mean utterly pointless. It was one sentence long and just said bent bone and a lump from bone modelling work done on previous injury. I've never had work done on my broken hand ever. My report on it from 20 years ago by the NHS was loads more detailed. I urge you. Completely useless. An utter waste of my time and money and am so annoyed it's unbelievable.
Really awful service
Really awful service. Must, must avoid. I was given a cream that I was assured was harmless but after my own research, if I took it, it'd actually potentially harm my unborn baby. Undereducated, rude staff. The complaints team and reception have now stopped responded to any of my emails.
BRACH OF CONFIDENTIALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On Wednesday the 15th I went to the Orpington, Kent branch for a hay-fever injection. This is a big facility that was full of staff and doctors. After I reported to the reception she loudly asked me what am I here for. I said to see the GP but she loudly demanded a reason and that is after she asked my full name, date of birth and address out loudly in an office full of staff and other patients everyone knew my personal details. She then proceeded to shout out loudly that I am here for my hay-fever Injection! There service is absolutely disgusting and I am not happy since they have a duty of care! They seem to forget that they are privately funded and need to stay confidential! Please note Lyca Health I have consulted this with the legal department I can use with my Union membership and I will be taking this further!!
ABSULUTLEY DISGUTING LYCAL HEALTH IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Admin side is dreadful
Admin side is dreadful. Took months to set up our company account then not only do their reception staff not recognise there is a company account they dont even know they do company accounts and demanded 3x immediate payment close to double our agreed corporate rates at the same time the doctor hadnt even arrived in the building for an appointment due 15 mins earlier.
I found a great OBGYN doc!
I found a great OBGYN, Dr. Saeed, at LycaHealth at Canary Wharf. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, patient and gentle with her examination.
Also, the woman who operates the mammogram machine was fantastic - and the imaging machine was noticeably more gentle than my last mammogram in Hong Kong. HK offers excellent healthcare, but the mammography machine, perhaps an older technology, was painful.
Thankfully Lycahealth's mammography was MUCH improved and no tears fell this time from me. Thank you!
MRI misdiagnosis
1 star for the lovely women who did my scan. I was misdiagnosed with a brain bleed (which of course terrified me), so I spent nearly a grand seeing multiple specialists to confirm I was okay. I was told this was a misdiagnosis, but the absolute devastating trauma this has caused me during this time is hard to put into words. I contacted the company and demanded atleast a refund (as this would not even cover my costs due to the misdiagnosis) and of course they are stringing me along for weeks with no real intention of rectifying their mistake. AVOID. Pay more and go to a centre with better radiologists. I will pursue legal action to be appropriately compensated.
Side note, I was sent an informal email with terrible grammar as a "diagnosis" for my scan. When I showed multiple consultants this, they said it looked incredibly unprofessional.
They upset my brother’s brother (who is…
They upset my brother’s brother (who is also my brother)

Absolutely dreadful.
Absolutely dreadful.
Vague radiology report.
Zero aftercare.
They make things worse, not better. Go elsewhere.

Think twice - really.
I've been referred to LycaHealth at Canary Wharf by my GP for a couple of tests and a consultation. Luckily enough, my corporate insurance scheme covered the costs because frankly - I don't see why people should pay a penny for this kind of services.
In just one week's time their team managed to screw things up exactly three times.
1) They booked me for an ultrasound scan with a wrong specialist. I can't even start to understand how this is possible in the first place but I asked my manager for a few hours off to be able to attend. Then they called me with the news that my appointment is not available.
2) The guy who called me (he knows who he is, I can pass this info directly to the management) wasn't even one bit apologetic about the situation. Let's say, the whole attitude there is somewhere along the lines of "if you have issues with us, then just leave". The call was disconnected at some point and guess what? They never called me back! I waited for 3 hours before calling them myself, got the same guy back on the phone, told him that a normal service provider would actually call his client back - zero reaction but he's probably too fancy shmancy to bother, I'll give him that. My appointment was rescheduled - but it's also plain weird how they are not able to accomodate the needs of people working office hours in these times (zero flexibility in booking times and low overall availability).
3) Now we've come to the best bit! The final follow-up I've been waiting for. Got my line manager to split my shift, so I could go and see the doctor face to face (the doctor is amazing, btw), got on the train, got off at Canary Wharf and yes, you guessed it. No appointment. Just as I was getting off the train, my doctor called me with a million of apologies (for smth that wasn't even his fault) because the booking team managed to book him an appointment with me at the wrong time. I had to turn back and go home and we did the initial appointment over the phone. Wow.
So, the summary is this: I wasted my time and my money to come to the clinic for nothing. Who's gonna compensate me for that? Also, I made a very pointless and unnecessary journey in the lockdown - was that a responsible thing to do?
Did the staff call me to reschedule? No, they didn't. I got a call from my doctor who is (thankfully) a decent person and bothered to handle this situation while the staff out there were sitting in a nicely furnished room doing whatever it is they are doing every day.
I genuinely feel sorry for all the amazing specialists who have to work in such an environment. Please avoid if you value your peace of mind - there are other clinics in London which will offer you a wider choice of appointment slots and will not screw you over with their lack of coordination and attitude.

Do not deliver on time results
I was referred by my GP to get an X-Ray. As Lyca Canary Wharf is the only one nearby I went there on tuesday. Unfortunately, the images of the X-Ray showed my foot has a fracture that might require surgery. Lyca’s team said the report from the radiologist could take up to 48 hours. On friday I called and the receptionist told me that the report was not ready, I asked why and how could not be ready if they assured it could take up to 48 hours and 48 hours have passed?, the receptionist responded that the radiologist called off-sick so the report will be ready for monday.
I can not conceive how two lines of a report can take 48 hours, and I can not conceive that they only have one radiologist!
They took 125 GBP from my pocket to deliver a report in the next 48 hours and they did not deliver it on time so I had to reschedule my appointment with my GP 2 times.
This is a joke of company, under resourced, do not meet deadlines and let patience down with their lack of responsibility!

Amazing experience. Very punctual. Amazing ambiance & amazing service.

Great Facility at Canary Wharf
I found this place, when my GP was out of reach due to COVID-19. I desperately wanted to see a health specialist.
I was able to see a consultant at Canary Wharf centre. Treatment was very cost effective, and they organised all tests, most of them are in-house.
They even organised the scanning on the same day.
I was very happy with the prognosis.
I would highly recommend anyone who wish to consult a specialist and doesn't need to wait for long appointment with NHS...
