Refusing to deliver luggage

Vueling have the worst customer service. In short, my bag was lost on 1 March this year. I was then notified that it had been located and would be delivered to my hotel on 4 March, which is when I had already informed that I would be leaving. Multiple calls to customer service and all repeated that the bag would be delivered to the hotel, even if I wouldn't be there anymore. Since then, no sign of my bag. Every time I call customer service they tell me the bag has been delivered, I explain the situation and we get nowhere. All I'm asking them to do is to re-open the PIR so that it is at least being tracked. They refuse. So, basically, they have located my bag, had it knowingly delivered to the wrong address and now refuse to do anything to have it re-delivered to me. I can understand bags sometimes going missing, but an airline refusing to deliver it once found- that is just theft.

The worst of the worst

The worst of the worst. Real pigs, dirty dogs, ultimate scum bags. Perfect corporate representation for Spain, this company feels so useless, its like they might be a part of the Spanish government, it is difficult to find this level of incompetence in the private sector and it's impossible to find this kind of stupidity outside of Spain. You might ant to check Sudan Airways before you resort to travelling with these morons.

Destroyed my checked luggage by…

Destroyed my checked luggage by dropping ot of the transport and running it over with a truck before putting what was left of it on the luggage carousel.
All reflected in the report and the incident was called to Nice airport luggage service before even releasing the luggage in my custody.
Now Vueling offers me $50 compensation when my bag alone costs over $500 and was purchased 1 week prior to that trip, was brand new.
Also the damaged contents, some of them lost on tarmac after the bag got run over by a truck.
Vueling is breaking the laws of Montreal convention along with others.

Taken assurance for my fly.

Taken assurance for my fly. Be delayed for 3;30h. Cost lot of money. Be robbed because fly was delayed. Than to arrive at 20:30 I arrived at 24:30. No train working took a bus and find myself 4:45 h away from home.
Took a taxi and robbed.
Lost £500
Crazy
No response from the company .
I will take action through our regulations teams in UK.

My wife and I were flying from Gatwick…

My wife and I were flying from Gatwick to Málaga to meet up with in-laws at airport in Spain. Check-in desk tell us, only one person has seat as they have over booked. This meant one of us had to go on standby and our luggage would have a standby ticket. I am 70 years old and have travelled on an enormous amount of flights and never been treated this way. Even though my wife had been allocated two seats, we were told we still had to go on standby and someone had to be a no show for us to get on flight, which did eventually happen. As I was entering boarding gate I was told on no uncertain terms not to put rucksack in overhead locker and to put under seat. After sitting down stewardess tells me to store in overhead locker, as I have just had surgery on my hand this was difficult as my wife and I had now been separated and unfortunately. When arriving at Málaga our case didn't until two days later. On our return even though we had payed extra for a seat we were told our booking hadn't been responsive on their system and had to wait for seating allocation at rear of plane. Only to find out bought seats weren't beeping used and they gave one to a person that asked to move to be near a friend. I would never use this company again, it's all about screwing as much money out of you as possible and to hell with your opinion and comfort. Who knew that if you buy a ticket it doesn't guarantee you a seat with this company.

Vueling and cancellation policy: WORST in class

when you book with Vueling and need to cancel, you have to be careful: no refund, only credit for next flights. but what happens if you never fly again with them??? you lose everything... I cancelled a reservation within 10 minutes after booking and despite the fact I spoke with them within those 10 minutes (the amount was not yet withdrawn from my account), they still waited the amount to be definitely paid to tell me it was too late to do anything. It is written on the reservation that cancellation does not lead to reimbursement in cash but in credit. Still, the fact they waited the entire payment to be executed without even trying or accepting to put me through a supervisor and pretending they had put a message in the system whereas they did not is OUTRAGEOUS!!! Other companies do reimburse through the same credit card and they are still operating properly. This company is the worst. And now unfortunately I will have to fly with them again to use that credit. I already hate it. I will never ever fly again on this company after using the credit, and will certainly not advise anyone to use them to go anywhere. WORST IN CLASS...

Lost our bags, didn’t even tell us

I flew from Gatwick to Florence last night. The flight was two hours delayed and Vueling failed to tell anyone on the flight they hadn’t stowed a single bag in the hold. 24 hours later, no update from the airline other than what the Florence airport staff were left to update us last night - I.e. no one’s bags had travelled with them. A shocker, and needless to say their customer service number is not contactable too.

I wouldn't recommend vueling airlines to anyone

I'm not a person who writes negative reviews but Vueling airlines service is terrible service. I was coming from Ibiza to Lisbon, they left my luggage in Barcelona when I got to Lisbon I had no luggage... in a foreign country first time.. They guy at the Lost and Found Airport saw how distressed I was... he became very helpful and reassuring about finding my luggage and he also mentioned i was a second Australian that the bag was left behind.. I told him I haven't got any essentials things with me to use.. he said go and get them they'll refund you. I wasn't pleased because I had limited luggage capacity which I had rang the flight booking company to why I had less kilograms returning home. So buying anything extra was unwelcome and perceived as a problem. However, I had to do it.. as I needed the toiletries.. and sleepware and clothes to change the followingv day plus for the meeting that I had at 7pm. They whole day no call to update.. I had no luggage. And over 10 calls no answer and answered later about 5:55pm an hour before my meeting..
That it will be there before midnight🙄
That was the best answer they could give me, and asked me to get the stuff i needed they will refund. They delivered my luggage after 26 hours.. no call.. no finding out if I had received my luggage.. no forms to sign for delivery.. which the hotel also commented that it was very unprofessional..
And also refused to refund me for the cost that they inflected on me. Very unprofessional service to my experience I wouldn't recommend them.. their connecting times is like 5 - 20 minutes apart very stressful and no communication whatsoever. I would never use them again. They don't respond to emails for refund they just ignored after requesting for paperwork when they offered to refund 100€ which was less than my receipts and they also mention we allocated your luggage within 24 hours.. as a denial to refund.. and I had to remind them that I didn't get my luggage until after 26 hours.. that's when it got to the hotel. I had 2 months Europe trip and that incident disrupted my trip.

Scandalous overbooking of flights! AVOID

Absolutely scandalous practice of overbooking the flights. A passenger shows up at the check in desk only to be told that the flight is overbooked. You will only get onboard if there are ‘no show’ passengers on the flight. HUGE AMOUNT OF UNNECESSARY STRESS at the very beginning of your journey. If possible avoid this airline!

Dear Vueling customer service rep, please rest assured that while certainly you are sorry for the inconveniences I had on my last flight, I’m sure that people reading this review will find it hugely relieving to know that you remain available for ASSISTANCE THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA.

It was my very first time when I booked a flight with Vueling, and even if a flight cost €5, I will never ever fly with you again!!!
Look at your reviews and consider how disrespectful you are to your passengers! Otherwise keep doing what you’re doing and you will be out of business in no time!

Vueling to Cardiff

Whilst travelling from Alicante to Cardiff this morning. My mother was taken ill on the flight.

The staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them and she felt well looked after.

Amazing service.. So grateful for the assistance that the staff offered. Cannot praise them enough

Don't fly Vueling

Our ordeal with Vueling started when we planned a quick weekend getaway, only to be thwarted by a strike at the Paris airport on our departure day. Left with no viable options, we decided to stay put in London. Vueling's handling of the situation was abysmal; we received a notification at 10 PM the night before our flight, absurdly rescheduling us to fly out at 7 AM the next morning, giving us practically no time to react. This last-minute change was completely unreasonable, prompting us to immediately file for a refund. Adding insult to injury, Vueling then rebooked us on a Saturday flight that would barely leave us any time in Paris, turning what was supposed to be a relaxing break into a logistical nightmare. We are still in limbo, waiting for our refund.

You won't believe how bad this airline is.

Firstly I should say the cabin and flight crew were fantastic and deserve so much better than to work for this disaster of an airline. So they are exempt from the comments below....

Worst experience ever in over 30 years travelling. Called to the gate, 30 mins late, and...we wait....and wait...and wait - everyone looking around, no information, no one wants to wander off in case we start boarding, so we wait...and wait...3 hours stood there! Then "technical issue with the plane we'll update as soon as we can".

Another hour later, now stood queuing at the gate for 4 hours, they say "we can board" - everyone cheers!! Then, not 5 minutes later "sorry flight delayed until 20:50" - was supposed to be taking off at 14:55.

Then as we are all wandering off to the bar etc "oh and by the way the flight will be a smaller plane and 20 of you won't be able to board". Cue absolute chaos.

Some kind souls volunteer to take a flight the next day but hours later when we get ready to board again we know that 7 of us won't get on, but they don't tell those 7 until we they try to board. Arguments at the gate, takes ages to board, sat on the plane an hour while people kick off at the gate for being refused boarding.

Finally take off at 22:30, nearly 8 hours late, leaving 7 poor sods behind stranded at Manchester airport at half 10 at night, having been there probably at least 10 hours.

Criminal, absolutely criminal, this company should be shut down. Can't even get the basics right. Incompetence beyond belief. 2 of the passengers they tried to leave stranded in an airport late at night were 19 years old on their first holiday without their parents.

DO NOT FLY WITH VUELING. EVER.

I don’t know whom to contact

Very nice customer service, who reply with copied and pasted automated email, but at least reply.
I have a special case of request: I left my purse with passport NIE and everything inside on a vueling flight VY6536 catania barcelona that landed very late the 16th April 12:00. When I realised it was too late, i filed the report but I feel there should be a prioritisation for passports. if i contact Vueling I am told service is externalised, if i contact foundspot I am told management is in the hands of vueling. Who can I ask to, for escalating properly this issue?

Update: i managed to contact the lost and found Barcelona office. No bags found. So either was stolen in front of the cabin crew ( second row) or it has been stolen afterwards during the clean up. Either very unpleasant situations.
They could have stolen everything but return the documents at least

Worst flight in the world. Very unprofessional staff and WORSTTTTTT customer service. They made me wait for 25 hours in Gatwick. Their site manager Dom is
a very unprofessional guy he don't know what he is doing. I have still not received refund from this company. Never never never choose this flight.

Racist & Harassment

I recently experienced the most appalling treatment from the staff during my flight from Málaga to Gatwick. Upon encountering an issue with my friend's hand luggage, which we had previously paid for, I attempted to address the situation with a member of the airline staff.
However, my polite inquiries were met with complete disregard and dismissal.
Not only did the staff member refuse to acknowledge my concerns, but she also threatened to call the police and barred me from boarding the plane.
To make matters worse, she confiscated my passport in an attempt to cancel my ticket. This behavior was nothing short of harassment and an abuse of power.
Overall, I am deeply disappointed and traumatized by the treatment I received Their failure to address this issue promptly and appropriately reflects poorly on their professionalism and customer service standards. I would strongly advise against flying with this airline in the future, as no one should have to endure such mistreatment.

This is the worst airline I’ve dealt…

This is the worst airline I’ve dealt with no customer service whatsoever I have been trying to claim expenses since September 2023 and have had no response apart from an automated response and requesting more information which I have already sent this company needs to be stopped planes are cramped aswell an not even stocked for refreshments I will never be travelling with them again and am making a formal complaint with the travel obudsman

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company.

They charge additional fees for group/family trips without any justification. (the price ticket for a group is highter than standart ticket, also the price of the seat for each one is higher than the individual trip.

The company force/blackmail you into paying double and imaginary sums if you want to buy additional tickets for your family or friends.

Lost bagage and NO answer from customer service

NEVER EVER Vueling again!

On a basic PMI-CDG flight with transit at BCN, Vueling lost my suitcase. When I arrived at CDG, I opened a PIR claim for lost baggage. After 3 days, the tracking number was stopped and since then I've been unable to track my suitcase, which of course has NEVER been delivered.

I've tried to contact Vueling by every possible means: their website, customer service by phone, social networks: no response!!!! They are completely unprofessional, have no idea where they put my suitcase and don't want to compensate me for it! WORSE: they turn a deaf ear and don't answer. NEVER take vueling if you want to keep your luggage. It's the worst of all.


Plus JAMAIS avec Vueling !

Sur un vol PMI-CDG avec transit à BCN, Vueling a perdu ma valise. A mon arrivée à CDG, j'ai ouvert une réclamation PIR pour perte de bagage. Au bout de 3 jours, le numéro de suivi a été supprimé et depuis, je n'arrive plus à suivre ma valise qui, bien sûr, n'a JAMAIS été livrée.

J'ai essayé de contacter Vueling par tous les moyens possibles : site internet, service client par téléphone, réseaux sociaux : aucune réponse !!!! Ils ne sont absolument pas professionnels, n'ont aucune idée de l'endroit où ils ont mis ma valise et ne veulent pas me dédommager ! PIRE : ils font la sourde oreille et ne répondent pas. Ne prenez JAMAIS Vueling si vous voulez garder vos bagages. C'est une compagnie malhonnête et au service client inexistant.

Left in airport overnight with no accom

Was on a flight from London to Florence and told we couldn’t land due to ice. Rather than attempting to land elsewhere in Italy, we were sent to all the way to Barcelona without explanation, offloaded at 1.00am and told no hotel would be provided and we had to stay in airport until 6.15am flight out. Clear breach of minimum legal obligations to passengers in event of flight disruptions
