Really the worst

Really the worst! Outbound flight was cancelled and I had to wait 24 hours for my next flight (a hotel was provide). Return flight: boarded on time, but then sat on the tarmac for 1,5 hrs only to be told we have to change planes due to a technical issue.

If you concider booking with them: stomp on your own foot, and then think that this is less painful than a Vueling flight.

Sitting inside the air plane departing…

Sitting inside the air plane departing Alicante airport ...The flight supposed to be delayed for about 45 minutes but we are already sitting inside the plane for 45 minutes under 30+°C outside temperature...Very hot and breathless inside with no fresh air supply at all.
The crew staff couldn't even explain what is going on and how long the plane intends to sit at bay for?

You buy a BA ticket and end up on this useless company. Always late, Gatwick bag drop is a farce. Trouble is that provincial airports like Bilbao offer no other companies to London so you are forced to use them. Wizz, Ryan, Easyjet are so much better

Regular delays

I am a regular traveler Oviedo to Gatwick
So many times we are delayed by an engineer checking something.
Of course safety first…. But I don’t understand why this happens often!?

Vueling is a complete fraudster…

Vueling is a complete fraudster company. In there online booking they trick you to pay for luagage you dont need. Instead of giving you access to ad a 25 Kg suitcase they trick you to buy a both over head locker and additional lugage under you seat. when you add 25kg suitcase they add that with 46 euro. Companies like that are swindlers - stay away

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service and complete lack of organization.
We had a connecting flight in Barcelona to San Francisco, coming from Amsterdam. Without any notice or explanation, the airline moved the San Francisco flight to an earlier time. When we got to the counter to ask for help, the agent didn’t even look us in the eye, she just started talking about hotel rooms. Excuse me? I thought this was where you handled flights.

Only then did she mention we wouldn’t be flying to San Francisco that day and would have to stay overnight. Was that so hard to say clearly from the beginning? After hours of walking and waiting, we deserved a minimum of respect and communication.

Then we waited over two hours to get our checked luggage. We weren’t alone, many passengers were waiting, visibly confused and upset. One woman was desperate because her daughter’s wheelchair had been lost, and an elderly couple was waiting patiently with the rest of us. What is going on with this airline? What happened to basic customer care? To problem-solving? Seriously, what is going on?!

Eventually, they found our bags and gave us a hotel and taxi voucher, and told us we would leave at 6 a.m. the next day. But my husband and I were supposed to be home tonight. Meanwhile, my sister is on a different flight and will arrive in San Francisco in a few hours with no one to open the house for her. Now we’ll have to pay for her hotel and her taxi ourselves. On top of that, my husband is losing a full day of work.

What are you doing to compensate us for this? This is unacceptable.

Please, do not fly with Vueling or Iberia for any reason. Do yourself a favor and avoid them entirely.

Missing luggage

Bad services we’ve had luggage go missing from Gatwick to Barcelona!
When arriving last week suitcase gone missing? We reported it did PIR been calling England and Spain every day and it finally was found on the 27th of July 2025 still at Gatwick 3 days into holiday it’s leaving Gatwick so relative has no clothes grandchildren has no medication no shoes no swimwear clothing toiletries all very expensive personal belongs too!

So it’s arrived at Barcelona airport next day 27th July 2025 so it should have been brought to resort that day nope it wasn’t several emails messages calls later asking about it it’s gonna be arriving today 29th July 2025 no later than 10pm it’s not arrived and we’re all going home back to England tomorrow 30th July 2025!

It’s been a bad week for family very stressful and upsetting and at a cost it’s gone over family budget with no help whatsoever!

Don’t use this company for anything! Liars! Badly organized and no care for how your travel goes!

Silly automation processes

Silly automation processes. My partner and I had to book our flights separately as we were flying out on separate days, but returning on the same day. Three times we tried to book seats together, twice my partner was upgraded to a different seat. Vueling wouldn’t let us sit together. Whilst on the whole this isn’t the worst problem in the world, it’s made worse by the fact that I had to pay several pounds to get a seat so that we could sit together, only to have that money thrown away, as my partner was forced elsewhere.

Further to this, their website is terribly unclear, all my flight details were sent to my partner and he had to repeatedly forward on emails.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless! Avoid at all costs. You cannot check in advance if the return flight is more than 7 days away- as in a weeks holiday! It will not let you check in to the outbound flight. Total BS

Flight delay of 2 hours

Flight delay of 2 hours, which means arrival time in Spain is after 1am. Contacted Vueling and even though I was able to speak to someone very quickly, they were like a broken record, not giving me any useful information. I asked if they could tell me whether they would reimburse any costs if the flight was canceled as I obviously paid for accommodation. I was told that, as my flight was not canceled, they cannot give me this information. I asked why they cannot share this information as a general enquiry... only to hear the broken record again. I was not giving them a hard time, so the lack of information and hitting the brick wall was uncalled for. A shame. I thought this airline had potential. It's a bit of a shocker as it seems BA and Iberia partnered with this flight. Anyway, maybe at some point I'll get to Spain. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Updated... there was good reason for the delay...a crew member was in a car accident. This we found out on the plane. If only people could communicate better. So, from 1 star to 3, as communication could have been better. I may fly with them again though.

Very bad experience with Vueling I…

Very bad experience with Vueling I travel from Florence to Getwick London is very bad service when I have returned flight been cancelled on 29 December and rebook 31 December Getwick to bercelona to Florence. Have there stay 3 hours but much longer then scheduled and I try make a claim cancelled flight and delay Vueling website not interned booking code I don’t understand make payment site recognising code for claims not find code very very bad experience and poor service. Never again avoid Vueling if have planning holiday.

Discrimination and major cockup.Our journey was ok but on returdisn after…

Our journey was ok but on return after checking on online to find our pre booked seats had been changed. When arriving at the check in desk our seats has been changed again. This time putting my disabled wife on her own. The check in lady was rude and kept referring to her as the wheelchair.Wefeventually got on the plane and my son and myself was 20 rows behind the wife. During the standard safety talk the steward leant over to my wife and said if anything happens you are las off.Seeing people in ou pre booked seats and our relocated seats I think someone had vocked up and double sold nothing to do with the reason were given that because we had 2 passengers with needs. Disabled passengers be warned do not use this airline as you are treated like a piece of meat

Thieves and scammers!! Do not use this airline!

Do not use this airline!! The are thieves and scammers!! We were 2 people travelling on separate bookings and during our connection our 2 bags got lost and were delayed for 48 hours ruining the first 2 days of our holiday! The person at the airport only created 1 PIR incident and included the 2 lost suitcases in it. We obviously opened 2 claims with 2 different claim numbers as this was 2 people on 2 different bookings. They have paid 1 of the claims and now have closed the PIR incident without paying the 2nd claim. I called last week and spoke to Samantha who said that a supervisor would call me. A week later no one had called me so I asked for a supervisor to call me back. This time, a supervisor called Jose Maria called me back saying that the PIR was closed and he understood that it wasn't fair that only 1 claim had been settled but that it was legal and I would be getting nothing and to ask the other person to share half of his compensation!! Can you believe this??? Thieves and scammers!! Will never fly Vueling again and would advice no one to fly with Vueling either!! I will be opening a complaint with the CAA to try to get my money back!! Very angry about this!

Terrible service

you simply cant call them. Their phone line is just a list of options where they send you an appropriate text. If that doesnt help you then you have no other option. Completely useless. Wont be flying with them again ever
