Really amazing food
Really amazing food. Healthy too. Saves me a great deal of time preparing work lunches.
They only thing that could improve the experience is taking the the "tip" options off the debit machines. As a generous tipper i offten feel guilty and feel like we're crossing the line here a bit. We don't tip at the grocery stores. And tip is typicaly for a service not the product. Minimal 10% tip on a $140 bill is little to mutch for a 30 second interaction with the staff.

At all of our retail locations we offer the option to tip our staff if you feel they have gone above and beyond or provided services that are beyond the normal expectations, there is an option to skip this portion on every debit terminal or change the tip percentage amount to whatever you see fit, it is not required what so ever and can be bypassed very easily on the terminals.
Our staff also make and prepare fresh protein shakes in store and help educate our clients on healthy eating habits and certain diets that they may not have enough information on previously before visiting us. Most of our staff both in the kitchen and front end retail stores are students who work very hard to give the best services possible and this gives them the opportunity to gain extra income.
In the meantime, if you have any further suggestions or feedback, please don't hesitate to share. We're here to serve you better and look forward to continuing to exceed your expectations with both our food and service.

Stop asking for tips for retail goods
I like the meals here, although they are quite expensive. My complaint though is that I recently bought some frozen meals and when I went to the till the default was to pay an 18% tip. Tips are for services, such as serving a meal or cutting hair, not for retail goods. Do I pay a tip at Walmart when I buy a frozen pizza or at Aritzia when I buy a sweater? Stores need to get this right. Add a tip for services only, not the sale of retail goods.

Why is everything so spicy
I so wanted to like everything about your food, but not everyone likes hot and spicy. I tried to pick meals that I thought would be safe. BBque chicken: I was expecting the normal sweet savory bbque sauce only to have to scrape off the hot and spicy topping that was not remotely bbque flavour. The Shrimp Lo Mein...who puts sambal oelek in chinese food? The Lasagne had such good flavour but I couldn't finish it because it too was far too hot. You need to add to your labels the level of heat your meals have.

I love visiting the Macro Foods Lasalle location! All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals are a delicious and healthy alternative to fast food. And their protein shakes are amazing, too!
