We are a family business committed to hand-making bathing products that are free from plastics, Palm oil & the chemical-overload we are exposed to everyday. We are passionate about our handmade soaps & bathing products and the beneficial reasons for using them. Handmade luxurious, beautiful soap, skincare & bathing products. All natural ingredients including pure essential oils. Our soaps are made using the traditional cold processed method which retains all the goodness and the natural moisturiser - glycerine. Most commercial soaps have this lovely ingredient taken out which is why soap can be very drying on the skin. We DO NOT use PALM OIL, SLS, EDTA, PARABENS or any other nasty chemicals in our soaps. They are also suitable for vegetarians & vegans (except soaps that contain bee products & goat's milk). We pride ourselves on putting passion and creativity into each of our products. From thinking of how colours and patterns can work together in a bar of soap......to what type of boxes to use to make out gifts look luxurious but not overly expensive. As a creative maker of these products I thrive on developing new ideas and putting them into practice. I believe creative progression is key to keeping our business interesting and eye catching! We recycle as much as we can at home and for the business and use minimal packaging which can be recycled. We believe strongly in re-using or composting wherever possible. We reuse packaging when we send out our parcels to you. Kind to the environment, gentle on the skin. We hope you enjoy our products! All of our soaps have been safety tested and comply with current UK legislation and regulations.

I've hada great experience with this company
I've had a great experience with this company. I spoke to the lovely Keilly about wanting different soap sets for both men and women as presents for my 50th wedding anniversary guests. They arrived beautifully packaged with a couple of free soaps for me! I picked this company due to their green credentials as nature is especially close to my heart.

sad the quality has not been maintained
Hi having happily used this soap for many years my last order contained at least 2 soaps that I had to throw away as they went knobbly in use and were very unpleasant to use. I contacted Mad about Nature with a photo and this was their response.
"Looking at the picture it looks like the white clay hasn’t mixed in as well as it should have - I use a stick blender so maybe I could do with an upgrade and treat myself to a more efficient one - apologies for that!"
Needless to say, I shall not be reordering.

Hi Barbara, I've left a little time since our email conversation to see if you updated this review but it's still here so i'd like to leave a public reply.
In her reply Keilly was friendly, polite and explained what may have happened to cause the issue with your two bars of fennel. Like I explained we both read your original email incorrectly and believed you had said you were happy to keep them (hence why we didn't immediately offer replacements) as explained on our email correspondence that was wrong as we should have done regardless.
As a small (but very busy!) business, Keilly produces thousands of bars of soap a year. We have 5 star ratings wherever we sell and many many repeat and happy customers. You yourself have been one of most regular customers. As far as I am aware this is the first time you expressed disappointment at them. It seems a little unfair to state the quality has declined on the basis of the issue you had in two bars after ordering dozens of bars previously...and after the honest explanation Keilly gave you. We didn't receive any other complaint and a batch of soap contains around 90 bars.
It saddens us you took the email from Keilly so badly when it was sent in a friendly, honest manner and Keilly thanked you warmly for your continued support.
I hope we can welcome your custom back at some point and you can once again enjoy the quality soap we produce and which you enjoyed for many years.
