Took 3 weeks to arrive, for frames with no lenses
Delivered, frames as advertised. But took 3 weeks -- longer than the 5-7 working days stated for a standard order with regular lenses, and this order did not require any lenses at all.
Suitably apologetic when eventually sent, but left wondering whether it would have even been noticed without a prod to enquire where the order has got to.

Easy process, love the glasses
So nice to be able to try the glasses for free before you commit to buying. A great range of frames. The buying process was straightforward and the team got in touch once I had made my purchase to confirm everything and check measurements so that the glasses were correct.

We are terribly sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our service.
As you know, your varifocal lenses did arrive from the lab, but they came in a few mm smaller. This meant that your PD would have been compromised if made. This would create a risk of putting strain on your eyes.
We could not go ahead and make them like this.
It would not be ethically right.
This is why the lab were instructed to remake them. This does take 10 working days.
We have not yet received your lenses, but should be with us any day now.
Please allow us to look into this in the morning and come back to you via email.

Happy I found Mad About Specs
I live in the U.S. and was unable to find a replacement anywhere in the states for a pair of Goldsmith glasses my friend destroyed sitting on them in my car. Mad About Specs had the exact pair and promptly dispatched within a few days. The price was reasonable and free shipping.
