Despite an overly complicated start, mostly my fault for mistakenly creating two accounts, the support team were excellent in taking patient time to sort it out. The trial version just didn't work... See more

How this company uses Trustpilot
See how their reviews and ratings are sourced, scored, and moderated.
Upon attempting to contact their support team, not a single member would respond to assistance. Instead, they responded every time with an email stating, "after careful review, it has been determined that your account does not comply with our terms and community standards. Due to this, your account will not be approved." There is no due reason that our platform does not comply with their Terms of Use and Policies and their denial to refuse service.
Here's the timeline. Over the course of multiple attempts of trying to contact support, all the following occurred:
- We have not sent a single email through their platform, yet the account was suspended
- All domain and subdomain DNS records were verified (ie SPF, DKIM, bounce, return, updates) but the account never was
- We did not receive a single email or contact method to a support staff member to verify our domain name
- We provided them various forms of social media as they requested, resulting in no change of domain approval status
- We provided 3 months of invoices from our existing email service, resulting in no change of domain approval status
We did all they requested and they could not even respond to their decision. As a warning to future users, this company appears to bias their customers and decide to service them or not.
Same as others. Set up an account and configured wait list page to store email addresses and send thank you emails.
Got hit by a bot over the Xmas period and account suspended due to high bounce rate.
Added extra checks in to make sure email address has valid DNS, RFC compliant and Google ReCaptcha.
Have tried multiple times to contact them but have no replies.
Will look for a better alternative.
Customer service is great; when I needed an email sending platform, MailerSend made it easy for me to accomplish, when I initially thought it was going to involve a lot of knowledge base -- talking to them about my challenges and explaining my specific situation was really helpful toward getting help. I also want to thank the MailerSend Team for their support.
Looks like this company is not interested in onboarding new customers. After having us fill out a lengthy form about our business model etc, they just suspended the account. They do not mention what the reasons were.
No idea why this happened, despite ours being a legitimate e-commerce business.
First I wanted to connect Google Firebase to import authenticated users to mailersend. But the extension doesn't do anything, contacts still need to be imported manually. After trying to import contacts manually, mailersend tells me to upgrade because I cannot import users without credits. After upgrading, mailersend tells me that the subscription doesn't do anything for new contacts, but I need to buy credits to import them für 250$. After requesting mailersend to refund my money, they told me that they never refund money.
!!! DO NOT RECOMEND !!!
You need to spend 1 day to get all your mail settings configured.
After that they just don't approve an account))))
They took my company information, address and phone number and then disapeared..
My account was not approved:
"After careful review, it has been determined that your account does not comply with our terms and community standards. Due to this, your account will not be approved."
They don't answer on emails.
Thats an awful customer experience in 2023...
I filled all the fields, but: " After careful review, it has been determined that your account does not comply with our terms and community standards. Due to this, your account will not be approved. "
Even complying with all requirements this service doesn’t approve the account verification. Look other companies and avoid this one
MailerSend is a fantastic service for tech teams looking to streamline email communication within their applications through a seamless API. The level of service provided by their support team is truly remarkable - they are incredibly prompt and responsive.
That's the last straw:
I had a list from our restaurant with 9800 emails from clients and everything worked fine
for years but what I experience lately with SMTPServer is a scandal..
After Covid etc we got a a lot unsubcribes and stayed with 5000. I cleaned this list with
a software I had and stayed with 3400 emails.
I gave this list with 3400 to MailerSend to be cleaned again by them, I don't remember the price, and started sending the emails.
Result:
a) I was kicked out because of to may bounces.
b) I discovered at the same time that the has showed on their Anaytics page as delivered
but have not been delivered at all.
c) In my analytics page my account shows to be 'active' but i can not send any emails,
after sending it says on the SMTPServer page 'delivered', but none of the emails arrive.
From 50.000 emails I have bought I have sent 11.000 cleaned emails and I am altready kicked out for having to may bounces.
I got finally al letter from a collaborator names 'Cesar' telling me:
It seems that your domain name is already associated with an account that was already paused and suspended because of a high bounce rate. We never received a response so your account was suspended and we won't be able to provide you with our services anymore.
No reply to my following messages no explanations.
Would they send the money back - hmmmm, I doubt.
Easy job for to make quick money:

Stay away from mailersend at all costs. Mailersend is a 'HASSLE-FOCUSED' company. They use their terms of service to manipulate customers into using their platform but when their platform sends 100% of your test emails to spam (or missing) and you know you've configured your DNS properly and have a reputable domain to send from, they don't care about that or when you request a refund for really bad service and results. It's a scam with empoyees forced to flaunt that it's a great place to work all over their website (what other companies do that??) when the leadership team is probably dysfunctional and isolated. If you don't believe me sign up to their platform and send test emails using a reputable warm up platform. (not using glock apps because companies like mailersend know how to get good scores using that app) You'll see that all or almost all of your emails from the warm up process are going to spam or missing. THAT'S A MAJOR RED FLAG. People who have given mailersend rave reviews have clearly not really tested the platform. That probably explains why mailersend is one of the few platforms that cannot deliver what they claim they can. I would recommend a 'terms of internal practice' review for mailersend and maybe even dump Ignas. It might be time for a major shakeup.
UPDATED: After reading mailersend's response I thought it would be prudent to respond. I ran two seperate warm up tests and both of them came back with 24 emails going to spam and 6 missing out of 30 total for each run. I ran the tests over 2 days so clearly there couldn't have been a temporary glitch in their system and the domain used for the sending email address was reputable meaning no blacklists and it's old enough to not be considered new by ESPs. The DNS records were also entered correctly. I think mailersend responded politely to what is probably an alarming exposure internally and they have no real solution in place to address it. How could any platform survive when 67% respondents give 5 stars and 33% give 1 star. That means 1 out of 3 people are giving mailersend 1 star. Clearly not good. You either love it or really hate it. I would stick with other SMTP providers who have a reputation for delivering results and taking care of their customers. I'm an engineer and data driven. The results of my findings are 100% accurate and again, mailersend knows how to get good results from glock apps, which is why sites like emailtooltester give inaccurate results from their test data because they're also using glock apps for their data results.

Terrible customer service.
Account blocked and when asked for clarification on why I was repeatedly ignored.
Lost money and time and MailerSend will simply not respond because in my experience they simply do not care.
Scam- They are letting intruders register services on my domain. I think Google will stop it before it goes too far, but this is NOT enough security for a mailing service anyone would actually want to use.
I had upgraded my account for the amount of $30 (50k plan) and i had sended only 500emails and my account has been immediately suspended by them.I had checked with the support and they had told that they will not be able to activate my account. When i asked for the refund they had told they will not be able to provide the refund.I am really very disappointed with the service. So better dont use this platform they will scam you.
Tried signing up. Went to all the hassle of getting out IT guys to install DNS & SFP records and composing an email in HTML. I didn't get a chance to upload a list as they banned my account.
No explanation.
I tried emailing but they just ignore it apart from one really vague email that said:
"We have not been able to determine that your account fully complies with our policies and community standards."
Too vague to know what it actually is. I didn't even send an email or even upload a list of recipients. Infuriating.
No other way to get in touch.
Wasted half a day.

Extremely painful experience. I am unable to verify my domain name, the process seems too hard. Your website is too hard to navigate as well.
Great experience with the platform. Very good service that offers a wide range of features and functionalities. The platform is easy to use and the user interface is intuitive, and the whole process of setting up and sending emails is seamless.
One of the standout aspects of the platform is its exceptional support. The customer service team is highly responsive and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to assist with any questions or issues that arise, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
This website's really painful to navigate and its services are the worst I've ever seen in my life. I'll just give an example but I've plenty like this one: I tried setting up an email address for my domain name like 10 times but it always failed without any further explanations even though I'm doing exactly what is asked. They've lost a great client today, bye bye mail sender! 🫡
I had an issue regarding verifying my domain. But the agent (Javier) who I was communicating with was extremely helpful in guiding me through the issue and as a developer, I am one step closer to production. Stella customer service
