Great first time experience with this…

Great first time experience with this company having had a bad experience with another boiler company in Fulham.
Rod the heating engineer was courteous and very helpful. He confirmed the suspected problem and wasted no time replacing the faulty part. He also fixed another problem with the underfloor heating motor we didn’t realise we had.
Great customer service and our go-to company now for any boiler/heating issues.

Very satisfied

I was recently visited by Toby from Maintracts who installed a new water tank at my property. Toby did an excellent job and he was very helpful at explaining all the relevant instructions. Would definitely recommend.

POST HOLIDAY ICE BOX FLAT SITUATION RECTIFIED

After their faultless service in resolving a previous leak, I called Maintracts for the 2nd time upon returning from holiday to a chilly flat as the boiler refused to fire up. As before, a polite, respectful and knowledgeable engineer (Rod) visited at the pre-arranged time to assess the situation. The parts were ordered and fitted quickly, no drama, no chasing up, warm flat. Excellent service again, thank you.

10/10. Great service

Absolutely delighted with the service I received today. I was visited by Toby, no messing about, diagnosed the problem, serviced the water tank and offered very helpful solutions for some other issues we might have within our system. Answered every question, put our mind at rest and was pleasure to have in our home. 10/10 for service, a credit to the company!

Top quality plumbing service

I first called Maintracts about a year ago to fix various issues (leaks & split pipes) caused by faulty plumbing and poor quality plumbing kits installed by another company in my previous property during kitchen and bathroom renovations. I was so impressed by their professionalism and high quality work that when I moved to my new property I asked them to check the central heating and do all the plumbing (moving radiators, plumbing in washing machine).
They have a strong team of plumbers, all of whom provide a great service, in particular Darryl who has been excellent. When I decided to renovate the kitchen I spoke to Darryl about doing the plumbing for the kitchen instead of the kitchen fitter. He listened to my objectives and provided thoughtful solutions and high quality plumbing products that would stand the test of time.

To find a company that focusses on quality and operates with integrity and genuine care for the customer is rare, Maintracts is first class and I would highly recommend them.

water pressure fixed!

Toby visited me today to address a water pressure issue in my flat. He diagnosed the issue within 5 minutes and had it fixed 45mins later. Had all the parts and tools in the van so no mucking about. Toby was friendly and professional and answered all my questions. Great service!

Malcolm is probably the heart of the…

Malcolm is probably the heart of the business. He is willing to help and knows how to communicate well on the phone. He does focus on the customer and the problem.
However I rang when I need an emergency plumber. The blurb in the website states 24 hours but that is nit the case. They were unable to get a plumber to me until the following day, which wa snot helpful.
However I do thunk the pricing is questionable and I am aware they are running a business with costs to meet. However business need to be more morally and ethically diverse. I think better regulation on costs etc must be introduced because many trades people take advantage and overcharge. if you are vulnerable and elderly that is a major issue.

Many thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry that we couldn't attend immediately when you contacted us. We are open 24/7 but when it is exceptionally busy we can still become fully booked. We do always try to respond within 24 hours, which I believe was the case when you requested an appointment. With regards to our pricing, I can confirm that we do check our prices regularly and make sure that we are offering better value than our direct competitors. Our pricing is consistent and our operatives work to a set pricing structure.

Video call troubleshoot

Malcolm had a video call with me to troubleshoot why my heating was not working. He was very knowledgeable and was able to get to the bottom of the issue without being physically present!

Brilliant Job

Toby was an excellent engineer - he diagnosed a plumbing issue that previous companies failed to work out, found a solution to it and did a great job with the actual work itself.

Ridiculously expensive

i put a job out to checkatrade. supply and fit a bottom inlet and flush mechanism with close couple kit. average price for parts from screwfix in total less than £50.00 inc vat. it is a 30 minute job maximum, so even if you allow an hour £100.00 plus vat that would make it in total £170.00. and so this is what I got from Maintracts.
Very quick to respond to the advert and after i sent them some pictures thay gave me an "estimate" of more than twice their nearest rival. £328.00 plus vat and plus parking and assuming they could isolate the water easily....that's just shy of £400 for a 30 minute job. I hope nobody falls for this outrageous pricing.

Many thanks for your feedback. We're sorry that our quotation was more expensive than you expected. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to undertake the work which you have requested within the time which you have specified. To disconnect the toilet cistern from the pan, replace the internal components, re-fit the cistern with a new close coupled kit, reconnect the toilet afterwards and test the installation thoroughly on completion, we would typically allow 3 hours - including our time collecting the necessary materials. We do check our prices regularly and can confirm that they are competitive. Unfortunately we're not able to compete with independent plumbers who don't have any overheads but we do provide a prompt and reliable service with good quality workmanship. We have comprehensive insurance and our operatives are fully qualified and very experienced.

Malcom who helped us was amazing , helped over the phone , me and my wife was distressed not knowing what any of the codes meant and we have a 8 month baby we needed to bath , he couldn’t of been more helpful , friendly and overall a great guy , if I could give more than 5 stars I would ! Perfectly Professional Plumbing

Recently called upon Maintracts for several jobs in my kitchen and bathrooms (leaking taps and cistern, weak flush, faulty mixer tap). Harrison completed all of the jobs to a high standard. He was a great communicator. He explained the problems in simple language and proposed solutions. He reliably sourced the necessary parts and visited again for their installation. He carefully and thoughtfully carried out the jobs and made sure they were finished well. Harrison provided excellent service. I highly recommend Maintracts.

Great service this morning.

Great service this morning from Toby.
He was unable to fix leak as it was down to the dishwasher itself but cleared all the water out of it and disconnected.
Also offered advice on new dishwasher when I asked him.

Hot water cyclinder replacement (Toby)

I had a hot water cyclinder replaced (work carried out by Toby). The initial ‘survey’ appointment was thorough and helped to explain the options. Prices were made clear up front and were transparent. Toby was punctual and courteous at all times. The replacement of the cylinder was straight forward and undertaken in the time specified. Work undertaken was neat and well cleared up afterwards etc.

Maintracts replaced the hot water cylinder in my flat and as always did an excellent job, on time and for the quoted price. Toby talked me through the job and is extremely experienced and knowledgable. I have used this company for years. They are excellent.
