Mike is a great guy and his short course 'Turbo Track Attack' gets 10/10 from me. Perfect for anyone wanting to get unstuck with music production and learn ways to improve workflow and produce more quality music in a shorter time frame

I had a lot of fun, got out of a creative rut, generated a bunch of new ideas and improved the quality of my music. Highly recommend this program. Thanks Mike!

I've got so much from these courses and the Make An Album with Mike course is the best for me. I've written so much and the quality is so much better than ever before. Mike and the team are incredible.I can't recommend this enough.

This is a motivational course that is basically a self-help approach that has been derived and regurgitated from a few books that have been around a long time.

It's a psychological approach that others have already used such as Tony Robbins. I don't think it's worth spending money on when you can find this information in many other places for free.

I wish I give it a 4.9 or 4.8 but a five is great enough number for me, Mike was able to give very insightful tips on how to get through a deadline,stress and going freely with writing songs and not over thinking about the writing process. I Will absolutely will be using his course again in the future for another release of mine when im ready to release. worth the 1000 dollars for sure you wont regret your money when you spend it :D

Mike and his team are amazing coaches with a great system that anyone no matter what type of musical background they're coming from can make great use of. Since more consistently applying his system in the past few months after first learning it a couple years ago at a point when my focus was too split, I have accelerated from feeling frustrated at never being able to finish a track no matter how much time I seem to put into it (a feeling which of course makes it harder to want to sit down to make music) to finishing multiple complete drafts of tracks per month while feeling a euphoric sense of making constant progress while also maintaining a sense of variety.

And it's not just about the music. The way in which Mike and team's coaching helps one to face the core emotional/spiritual challenges within making art has so many lessons that have translated into me living a more artful, joyous life outside of music as well.

Need structure? Focus? Do you procrastinate or forever get distracted? Are you gonna tweak this setting until it's just perfect (X hours later).

In the beginning, when I start splurging I felt very very lost. It was hard to Ignite!

The last album i made in 2021 was too conceptual, serious and close. Now I wanted something new, happiest, positive, danceable. But it did know where to look at.

Than you said "trust the program, do the exercicies, right down the answers, focus on the process..."
I did all of that. Even maging the double shifts at my job (people when out in vacation and have to cover many of them). Even forced to use my computer in a dusty garage (lost my current house, moving to a new one soon).

All I knew is that I wanted to make music that doesnt scare people anymore (the first got a gig here in Turin I've played some of my music and I realized that of the sudden they were not dancing anymore and going out to smoke).

My music was defenitly not for entertainment as I use to think of them as compositions, not "tracks".

While doing the presets splurge and the weakness and strength meditation, some scary thoughts came out and I felt old and rejected. But I kept the the program. 10 and splurgers came out, than 15, than 20. I start and focusing on the process and I realized that my way of doing music was very different from the produces or people out there on internet... and djs...

So... start thinking about my low end and minimalism. I found out that my worse weakness was MAKING A GROOVE A simple groove there has movement on it! So I start putting on some polymers and messing around with the groove low ends, mids and highs.

The light came into my mind only when I I was doing my Splurge #40!!! Not worrying about quality just focus on the feeling and the dancing aspect of the song. So I set up a new template (did like 10 ones) without snares, without heavy moog sounds!

And then you said that magical word that "people have forgotten about playing alive, recording and editing endlessly". So I start putting my piano lessons into practise and recording myself again.

So I set up a new rule for my practice: just live recording and improvising notes. I didn't know I was capable of doing groovy interesting music.
And your program made me feel there I actually pretty good at it.

So, my honest feedback is: your program has changed my way approach on electronic music. Your program made new space inside my mind (and lots of garbage in the bin trash). The music sounds fresh again... and my motivation is renewed. 52 splurges. 12 on "in progress".

Note: one thing I would like to mention... the community! is it me or people are really shy? I thought I would have more exchanges on your program with others. maybe one giving feedback to others... I also want to see others people path, listening to their splurges and see their music machine... is it possibile?

this will be my 3rd review for Mike. Always 5 stars. I cannot describe the impact he and his team have made on, not just my music but on my life. Best thing I have ever done, musically. So much gratitude

I've been working g with Mike for about a year on and off, and recently completed the 3 month training, Make an Album with Mike - MAMW2.

After completing this program, I have finished a number of tracks ready for release, and now have a format for working on multiple tracks at one time, without getting to bogged down with the intricate details.

Mike and his team are fun and engaging, making the process a great experience.

Having just completed the Make An Album with Mike 2 program, I can wholeheartedly say that it has been the best thing that has ever happened to my music making.
Like many people, I really struggle to finish tracks and have been noodling around with the same few tracks for years, never happy and never finishing.
Since starting the MAWM course 3 months ago, I have finished 16 tracks (with loads more in the pipeline), the quality of my tracks has gone up massively and I have also developed a unique style to my music. Basically the flood gates have opened and I couldn't be happier!
I have signed straight back up for MAWM 3 and I recommend any aspiring music maker to do the same.

the urge to push the button and not let the idea slip away. (Aren't we all guilty of that)
You'll learn how to work with your inner perfectionist rather than against... Or let's say... You'll get the tools to put your inner perfectionist into the place he belongs... Somewhere at end control.

The program is very helpful in giving you "that little push" while simultaneously giving you a helping hand . Kinda addictive, but in a good way.

I took Mike's course "The Leap" about 6yrs ago. I made more music after doing that course than I had in the past 10 years. Including releasing multiple pieces out into the wild on various labels.

I gained a deeper understanding of myself and how to tackle the problems faced during the production process. Knowing where I am in any piece of music and having clear "To-Do's" for each area was a MASSIVE win. I would have paid just to get this download as it had a significant impact on how I create and how much music I finish. This alone removed a lot of pain from the process in general

Fast forward and now I've just completed the album course... 3 months.. recorded 100 ideas and have an album of 11 tracks about 90% done.. I have never made this much music in this much time and, the tracks on the album are probably the best tracks I have made and sound like "me"

The results speak for themselves. If you are a producer you WILL improve how you make music/gain new insights and new ways to approach your process that will help you make better music in less time.

Thanks to the whole MMYL team, coaches are friendly and helpful and Mike seems to have a superpower to ask you questions you've never thought about before, resulting in new perspectives/growth/problem resolution. Just stick with the prescribed plan and things will happen

Highly recommended.. especially if you feel like you need a kick... you won't regret it

I’m just finishing Make An Album With Mike, a 3 month program to make an album. I’ve learned so much about my own creative process and why some earlier projects never was finished. The process and methods are great, and is highly recommended for anyone who’s struggling with finishing music or is having writers block.

An incredible experience.

From start to finish (well nearly—last week), it’s been great to work with Mike’s process. I’ve following Mike for some time and using his resources that he publicly shares but going through the course—Make and album with Mike—meant that I had much more explanation and insight into this way of working. The added value of having other people working on their music and coming against similar problems at the same time was so helpful. I really feel a part of the community and the process has given me a lot of great music to work with in a short space of time. I’m definitely going to do another album with Mike

An enjoyable evening that has opened up the creative process that had previously bogged down.

Mike is hilarious (which helps a lot in making the process light and enjoyable), practical, informative and down to earth as well as extremely generous with his offerings which are excellent.

I did the turbo track attack and it has helped me approach my music production in a much more accessible way on a daily basis. Procrastination = fear and his methods are a magic wand to dissolve this fear at every stage in the journey to creating a (many) finished piece (s) of music.

I've only just started out on this journey with Mike and the team but I have complete confidence in what they offer having looked into the creative process over the last years, there is nothing like this that I've found.

The team is also very supportive and again generous, considering I only paid 50$ for a one off session. Tim continues to answer my questions in the community and prompts me to keep taking action.
