Communication was clear.

🚨 Sharing this publicly because private attempts have gone unanswered.

Earlier this year (May), I was contracted by Mangates to teach a class. Despite fulfilling my responsibilities, I have not been paid for my work.

In addition, I was required to cover classroom supplies out of pocket and even instructed to pay for the class lunch myself, with the understanding that I would be reimbursed. To date, I have not been reimbursed for those expenses either.

As professionals, we rely on good faith and fair dealings with the organizations we partner with. Failing to compensate instructors for both their time and expenses is unacceptable and undermines trust in our industry.

I’m sharing this to alert fellow educators, trainers, and contractors who may be approached by Mangates so they can make informed decisions.

the training was ver resourceful and i was given tools to continue my growth. Debbie was an excellent instructor and provided me with a lot of information.

Emily has always been good to respond back in a reasonable time and informative as well. Answers my questions or gets me the help I need. She has been proactive to get us the training we are looking for and communicates well.

This is my third time doing contractual work for this company. They are nonresponsive whenever it is time for them to compensate me for my work. I emailed the trainer acquisition executives, who are ignoring my emails. I did the job for them over a month ago. Please do not become a trainer for this company because it is a scam.

Mangates has been such a rewarding company to partner with as a corporate trainer. Their programs cover such a wide variety of topics—from negotiation skills, emotional intelligence, and management development to technical courses like Power BI—so there’s always something meaningful to teach. The clients are engaged and bring great energy to each session, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The curriculum is structured but flexible enough to allow for interactive activities, which I really appreciate as a trainer.

Roopa is fantastic at coordinating everything behind the scenes and ensuring I’m fully prepared before stepping into the classroom. Mangates truly values both its clients and trainers, and it shows in how smoothly the sessions run. I’m excited to continue collaborating with them and delivering more impactful training sessions in the future.

I completed a presentation for Mangates in June and submitted my invoice. Payment was delayed for two months and only made after I posted my initial Trustpilot review. To be fair, I want to note that I have now received payment in full. However, I feel it is important to share that during those two months, repeated follow-ups went unanswered, and since receiving payment I have been contacted multiple times by phone, email, and LinkedIn requesting I delete my review. While I am glad the matter was ultimately resolved, my review reflects the full experience I had working with this company.

My liaison Sia Bennett was very responsive and assisted me throughout this journey. The trainer Sivaram Ravi was very knowledgeable and gave very good insights during the training programme! We had some technical glitches on the online class entry, but otherwise, the goodness of the people made it positive!

My experience was great. Elisabeth White was a really great tutor she explained every module very well and helped me with questions I had.

Very practical training. lots or real life examples and plenty of ideas to think about and apply to my daily work.

The coordinator communicates promptly and effectively, making timely adjustments based on feedback. The trainer is dedicated and responsible, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.

If you're looking for a workshop that genuinely transforms how your team approaches time management, I highly recommend Mangates. This wasn't just another training session; it was an investment in our team's efficiency and well-being.

Mangates reached out to me on LinkedIn to facilitate a training. The staff people were great and clear at first. They provided materials and clear instructions. After signing the initial agreement, I was sent a list of things to complete prior and during the training, which included printing with special paper (requiring a trip to Staples), and I was asked to take the client out for lunch and front the bill - they reimbursed for these expenses but I hadn't factored the additional time into the compensation agreement. That said, I was willing to do all of this to explore the relationship as I had a positive impression. I enjoyed facilitating the training. I was disappointed when communication and customer service dropped off as I was trying to secure timely payment. It took a lot of follow up and ultimately this review to get paid several weeks late.

Both coordinators, David Levin and Sia Bennett, were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, and effective in helping me to set up my training. The workshop was extremely well-done and will be directly applicable to my work. I would definitely recommend this course and this group, Mangates, for continuing education courses. I was very pleased with the entire process--easy scheduling, easy access to David and Sia for any and all questions and scheduling, and very acceptable pricing for the day long course. Highly recommend Mangates!

Staff learned a lot from the courses. They also like the certificate piece very much. Organization wise, Mangates has been very accommodating with changes and moving people around to different days, which is a very important factor on our side.

The Public Speaking training was a fantastic experience. The session was well-organized and smoothly executed, thanks to Rachel, who played a key role in coordinating everything. Her support and attention to detail made the day run seamlessly and created a welcoming environment for all participants.

Drocella, our trainer, was both professional and engaging throughout the session. She brought great energy to the room, making the learning process enjoyable while still delivering valuable, practical content. Her ability to break down complex ideas and make everyone feel comfortable participating was especially appreciated.

Overall, this training was interactive, informative, and confidence-boosting.
