Service wasnt the best got told I'd…

Service wasnt the best got told I'd receive my sofa within 2 weeks of 4 different occasions turns out my sofa was out of stock so I had to choose a completely different sofa so was not happy at all then when my sofa finally arrived the two men who delivered it were useless and left the sofa downstairs leaving me to get it up to my third floor flat .

Utterly disgusting!

Oh dear, you must be desperate when you are constantly updating your reply to my review.... well, I have called 4 to 5 times NOT to actually chase the delivery BUT to find out the next delivery date from you, as I stated on the phone I work shifts at NHS. I MADE VERY CLEAR I didn’t care HOW LONG I need to wait.... I just wanted to make sure I am at home....you can twist my words as much as you like, nothing will change.
· I have received text giving me 24hr notice for delivery which is unreasonable and unsuitable for obvious reasons. I did NOT chased delivery once! Liars liars .... lol.
· I had to call 4 times in 5 days to confirm if you are able to deliver the sofa on the day I was at home. I have even emailed twice asking about the date, all I got back ‘we are reviewing our routes’. 
· On the day of delivery, you were unable to give me the time of delivery or even rough estimate, so I had to book annual leave for whole day. When I called the office at 3pm I was told by H. that they will be with me at 4pm. When I called at 4pm I was told that they will be with me at 5pm. When I called at 5pm I spoke to lady R. and she had the sense to actually call the delivery guys to find out more info! Finally, at 7:30pm my sofa arrived! Do you think this is acceptable to be fobbed off by your customer service who seemed not to have a clue about where your delivery drivers are, not eleven bother to contact them. The 2 delivery men entered my flat without masks. They have delivered my sofa and said: Ok we are done! I was so shocked and taken back by their attitude, I simply couldn’t believe they did not care whom would assemble my sofa! When I asked them why they are leaving without assembling the sofa they looked at their watch rolled their eyes and said, well we can do it if you want! If I want? This is the attitude? This was their last job, I know they had a long day but it made me feel so uncomfortable, like I’m bothering them! I understood that the extra £50 I paid was for a delivery and assembly. When they started to put my sofa together, they said that they don’t have drill or any tools to put the sofa together! This was absolutely unbelievable attitude! Luckily, I had a little toolbox from IKEA, so they used that! Considering they have done 6 deliveries before mine.
· After they unpacked my sofa, they told me that it’s faulty because two brackets are missing hence it can’t be put together. I was so tired and upset by the way I was treated by Maple Furniture that I was ready to give the sofa back!
They called the manager lady called J. she apologised and reassured me that this will be fixed maximum within 5 days! 9 days later it was finally fixed! For 9 days I had to look at my ‘broken like’ sofa which I couldn’t sit on! 9 days later and countless amounts of emails to the ignorant manager, my sofa is fixed. My NEW sofa is fixed! I have paid £825 to Maple Furniture and look at what I have been through. I’ve purchased this sofa in a good faith to support smaller business instead of going to IKEA or DFS or SCS etc.... You have robbed me of what it should have been an enjoyable moment in my life of buying a new sofa. I only chose your company due to the great review you have received, I now question whether these review are a true reflection on your company or if they are fake reviews.
I would also like to add, that the gentleman who came to fix the sofa was rather surprised that you would post the brackets for the sofa without any nails! Another failure in your service. He had to search high and low in his van for the correct nails so he could fix the sofa! I would also like to mention that the 2 delivery men who came to deliver the sofa wrongly assembled my sofa, yet again another failure in your services. They have given me a ‘spare leg part’ of the sofa, however as I learnt it wasn’t spear at all, it was a vital part to actually support the sofa! This was shocking and I have learnt that it was a health hazard. The sofa would have collapsed sooner than later due to this huge error and if I was sitting on the sofa and injured myself you would be liable. I strongly suggest that you retrain all your staff immediately to a higher level, so all your future customers receive the best customer experience which they deserve.
· Manager J. have mentioned several times a compensation which she would consider giving the horrid treatment and circumstances you left me in. And all I got was a miserable delivery charge of £50!
Shame on you, if you think this is fair!
 
I’m sure you will write back with some lies, honestly, at this point you can’t get any lower dear Maple furniture.

Firstly, I would like to assure you that our reviews are 100% accurate, good or bad. We are sorry that your sofa had a fault, we got someone out to you as soon as we could to rectify this. Our normal delivery timeframe is 3 - 4 weeks, and you received it after 13 days due to chasing delivery which is why you were given short notice, as you have stated yourself in your review, you called us 4 times in 5 days and emailed us twice for a delivery date. We cannot give accurate delivery times as we can't anticipate traffic or road works etc, this is why the drivers call you 30 minutes before arrival. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Was slightly sceptical ordering online but I needn't have been.. my sofas arrived within a week and the quality is amazing.. customer service was excellent aswel I am so happy .. 100% recommended this company

Recieved my sofa today and to say I'm delighted is an understatement. I was a bit dubious initially as just ordering off the internet without having seen it in showroom etc and I'd never heard of this company before, but now I can highly recommend them. They kept in contact every step of the way and the delivery service was second to none. Was called half hr in advanced and could choose my day for delivery. Lads were helpful and brought sofa into my living room for me. I purchased the green velvet corner sofa and just the shade I wanted, was worried it might have differed from website photo but it was bang on! It looks far more expensive than what I paid too. I'm currently sprawled out on it now and it is very comfortable and worth every penny. My impatience paid off as I always bought from DFS but I couldnt wait 10 plus weeks for delivery and so glad I found this gem of a site. Customer service was second to none. Only snag was there was no markings where the feet had to go so spent a bit longer locating them using a hat pin as not to tear the lining looking for them other than that it's all 5 stars from me!

Excellent

Unbelievably quick delivery. Arrived before the alloted as well. They did phone ahead to see if that was alright. Took ten days from ordering to arrival. Everywhere else was a minimum ten weeks. Just to prove I'm not working for the company I have one complaint in that 90 pounds delivery to Scotland is pretty ridiculous. Other than that you they we're excellent from ordering to delivery to aftercare.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. Got an answer really quick when contacting them by phone and Facebook messenger. Reasonable price for a really good quality sofa. Maple was quick at delivering after placing the order. The delivery drivers was very polite & professional they set up my large corner sofa before leaving.
I ordered the large silver shimmer corner sofa and the picture online doesn't do it justice. Very happy.

Awful experience from start to finish

Awful experience from start to finish. I ordered the corner sofa and paid for it out right it took me a month of fone calls to them to get a delivery date on top of the price for the sofa I paid an additional £50 for delivery and 2 man assembly as I work nights a month later it was delivered but not assembled so I ended up putting it together my self as they wanted me to wait an additional 5 days to come back to assemble it not handy with a young family I definitely won't be using them again an would not recommend using them to anyone.

We are sorry to hear you have had an unsatisfactory experience with Maple Furniture, however, as stated in you order confirmation email our delivery is 3 - 4 weeks and our delivery fee within 130 miles is £50 as standard. Due to timing issues, we sent your furniture with a courier which normally costs extra and they unfortunately didn't assemble as requested. As soon as you reported the issue to us, we asked them to come straight back to assemble which they couldn't do on the day. We have spoken with the courier company and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your feedback.
