Zero stars!!!!
Zero stars!!!!
I signed up for Market Leader for automated marketing. Of course they charge my card for the last two months, the first month, a quarter of my contacts received my newsletter and the second month zero received my newsletter. They have been stalling me for the last two days telling me they’re escalating my complaint but I still don’t have any answers. This is the absolute worst company with the worst customer service that I’ve ever dealt with. I had to call my credit card company and ask that they not allow any more charges from Market Leader and while I was on the phone with them, there was an attempt to make another charge on my card for another month, even though I already paid for that month. They lock you in for six months and won’t allow you to cancel , and when I told her they were not fulfilling their obligation she got very nasty. Stay away from Market Leader!!
Awful quality of lesds & horrible…
Awful quality of lesds & horrible customer Service. I was locked in a six month term and they automatically added a seventh month and would not honor the cancellation because I was a couple days late on giving a 30 day notice. Their customer Service department told me that I would be sent to collections if I did not pay the additional month that they added on.Spent $5000 and nothing to show for it.
They do not even deserve a one star
They do not even deserve a one star. Be Aware of MARKET LEADER. This platform that promises you seller leads has been nothing but disappointment. In October of 2025, they reached out to me and after an elaborate sales pitch, they signed me up for their seller lead. They were all hands on deck to set up the profile, the lead capture site, IDX, ..... Shortly after I started receiving the leads that were not in my area. I informed them that I do not serve these counties and they said, we will look into it. Then the leads that were in my area arrived and all were low quality. I checked the initial email they sent them with the evaluation of the seller house and they were so off in the pricing that actually pissed the seller off. In March, I reached out to my sales rep and asked to cancel the membership. After a few emails, he replied, sure, no problem, but no action. They kept charging my card. I sent 5 more emails and no reply. I called and they put me on hold for over 35 minutes and no response. Funny thing, when they wanted to sign me up, they were all available. After I finally found a customer support personal and voiced my unhappiness, they told me my contract was for 6 months and I could not cancel anyway. But guess what, they charged me for 7 months total. They now agreed to cancel, but are not accepting my request for the refund of the previous months. So run the other direction, if they reach out to your with their sales pitch.
Horrible
Horrible. Absolutely horrible. The sales staff to get you in the door is good. The support staff is below subpar. We've been dealing with them for 2 months and they still cannot get our website right? Still do not have the right. IDX feeds. The quality of leads are horrific. You're paying for nothing, don't use them. They are the worst in the industry. We are now fighting to get the little bit of money. We put in back. Pathetic.
Market Leader Lead Gen
Market Leader is a very basic and easy-to-use CRM, and the staff has always been readily available when support is needed. However, the quality of the leads is extremely low, and you do not receive many leads for the amount of money being charged. In my opinion, it is not worth the cost, especially with being locked into a contract.
I feel they need to do a much better job managing lead quality and working harder to provide agents with stronger, more qualified leads that have a higher chance of converting.
Market Leader Defines What a Scam Really Looks Like
I signed up with Market Leader with an open mind, hoping their platform would help grow my business and generate quality leads. Unfortunately, I was completely wrong. This company defines what a scam really means.
From the beginning, the promises made by their sales team (Brad) did not match the reality of the service. The leads are the very lowest quality, support is unhelpful, and communication was filled with misleading information. If you are thinking about subscribing to Market Leader for real estate leads, CRM services, or marketing support, please do not. It will be a complete waste of your money and time.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of honesty and accountability at every level of the business. You end up dealing with people who say whatever they need to say to get your payment, then disappear when problems come up. I would strongly recommend that real estate agents, brokers, and teams look elsewhere for lead generation and CRM solutions.
Save yourself the frustration, wasted investment, and endless headaches. There are far better and more trustworthy companies out there.
If I could give this company 0 stars
If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. DO NOT sign up with them. They completely misrepresented their lead generation services. Most of the “leads” were fake emails with no valid phone numbers, making them useless for actual business. This has been the absolute worst experience I’ve had with a lead company. To make matters worse, they refuse to let me out of the contract despite failing to provide what was promised. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with them.
Terrible Leads! Don't join!
Leads are provided, but none have had any interest in selling their home. Some are not even the owners. Don't waste your money! I'm embarrassed that I trusted AI to lead me to this company. A little research on my own and I would have seen their terrible reviews. I thought since they have been around a long time they must be legit. They are just legit scammers. They have a lengthy contract designed to trap you for months and there is no way out. They don't require people to provide a phone number or to answer the question if they are interested in selling and would not provide me answers to that question. I have found people are "just curious" and using this site for fun to see what their house is worth. It is too expensive to for what you get. One could use it as a CRM, but it would be a very expensive system than other options. I tried to see how I could shift my investment to other products, but they wouldn't let me. They offered me a "deal" that wasn't actually a deal, so they also think we are all dumb. When they offered a deal they also tried to extend the contract so paying the extra month would be more than the deal that they offered. They say that you can return leads, but they make it cumbersome and not worth the effort since I'm stuck in this contract anyway. I still answer every lead, just in case, but it is way too expensive for the poor quality of leads.
Stay away from Market Leader!
Market Leader has breached the terms of our agreement and refused my request to terminate the contract. The leads they provided are largely invalid and unqualified—many are already listed with other agents or are not interested in selling. Some leads include incorrect phone numbers, while others who answered were frustrated because they had no intention of selling. Upon verifying property tax records, I found that the names provided in the leads do not match the actual property owners. Despite the contract stating that leads can be returned within 30 days and that I may terminate the agreement if the issue is not resolved, the company has refused to honor these terms. When I raised this concern, they ignored the relevant clause (Section 11(i)) and instead responded selectively, referencing only Section 11(iii). It appears they continue to push customers to maintain payments for low-quality leads through the full six-month term, knowing that after 90 days, disputing charges with a credit card company becomes more difficult. Additionally, the contract I initially received was vague and did not clearly disclose the six-month commitment. The document’s heading simply stated “New Subscription: 6-Month Contract". This detail was only emphasized after I requested termination. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution and carefully review all terms before engaging with Market Leader.
Leads were terrible
Leads were terrible and was not given the number of leads I paid for. They lock you into a long contract with no way of getting out of it. DO NOT use them. Better off canvasing and finding your own leads for less money.
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MARKETLEADER
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MARKETLEADER. I REPEAT DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR PAID LEADS/SUBSCRIPTION. Their leads are terrible. I was on 6 month minimum contract and paid $600 monthly. Their leads are trash. The entire month, I was able to connect with 2 people via phone call. They both said they were cash buyer. They travel to Vegas often, but knew nothing about it. Which were all suspicious. It feels they target more of an elderly crowd who did not have real intentions on buying. Your money is better spent elsewhere. I've paid for other lead sources and have felt disappointed and the leads did not meet my expectation, but Market Leader just feels fraudulent. Just save your money and spend it elsewhere.
Avoid, rapid price increases, poor SEO
I had market leader for around 5 years. When I went to cancel I contacted them on March 11th to let them know I wanted to cancel because the prices just kept going up they went through from 159 to $189 a month in just a matter of a year or so. I couldn't continue to do it. April 1st they charge me another $189 and wouldn't cancel without payment.
deceptive and dishonest
Hands down the most deceptive and misleading company I have ever dealt with.
Shame on me for not reading all of the fine print word for word. But what I received was not anything close to what was pitched/explained to me.
Lying by omission is still lying.
I called 2 months into my 6 month agreement to cancel. I called 3 months in to cancel. Now on the last day of my 6 month contract I’m told they need 35 days notice to cancel and now I will have to pay for an extra two months of “leads” that I’m not even sure are real people.
1/2 of the leads didn’t have phone numbers. Some had fake names or fake emails. My own name was provided as a lead and a couple other realtors in the area were provided as leads as well. Total waste of time and money.
Don't Waste Your Money-They Are a Scam
This company promised quality seller leads for a high cost. The leads I received were fake or already listed. Not a single one turned out to be a real actual person except one, who had no idea how I got their information. I reported to the BBB because they refused to let me out of my 6 month contract despite knowingly sending me junk leads. I think this is a scam company that puts on a really great show in the beginning. They should not be in business.. Don't waste your money.
Expensive + questionable leads.
Expensive lead-generation service provider offering questionable leads. A month in, I experienced a death in the family and was too grief-stricken and needed a break from the leads to focus on my family. I asked them to pause or cancel. They refused!! When I followed up with the leads via email and phone, they were bogus leads. The legitimate leads asked to be removed.
SCAM
This company preys on new agents who are eager to get leads. They push you into signing a six-month contract that they make extremely difficult, if not impossible, to cancel. The leads go nowhere. Most are completely unresponsive, and many don’t even provide a phone number. A large percentage opt out of contact altogether.
As a new agent, $440 a month is not a small expense. I signed up expecting that by at least the second month I would have one solid opportunity, something with potential. That never happened.
What’s worse is the lack of transparency. The person I initially spoke with never clearly disclosed the six-month commitment. I was also told that if the leads were “bunk,” I would be credited or refunded. That turned out to be completely misleading.
When I tried to cancel, they refused. When I asked for help or solutions, they offered none.
These are not vetted or motivated buyers as advertised. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these leads are bots.
If you’re a new agent, stay far away. This is not a service that helps you grow your business, it drains your time, energy, and money.
STAY AWAY FROM MARKET LEADER TOTAL SCAM!
If I could give them zero stars, I would!!!! They prey on new agents that are excited to get leads and finesse you into signing a 6 months contract that they refuse to cancel. The leads go NOWHERE. Non responsive leads. And being a new agent, I don’t have extra money to spare… $699 a month. I signed up thinking at least by month 2 I would have at least one lead that would be going somewhere. They refuse to cancel my subscription, they refuse to help in any way. THEY ARE A SCAM! Stay far away from them! The person I spoke with in the beginning never mentioned a 6 month contract and she also said that if the leads were “bunk” I would get money back for those leads. COMPLETELY MISLEADING AND A LIE! Stay far far away from this company, especially new agents, they will prey on you!!!!
The leads are all fake and 90% opt out from receiving any contact from you and don’t provide a phone number. I wouldn’t be surprised if these “leads” are bots. These are not motivated or vetted buyers like the company claims they are!
The absolute worst company
The absolute worst company! Ive been a customer for years and the treatment i have received in trying change may account is beyond deplorable. Customer service is rude and they care about anything you have to say, they just want your money. Its impossible to cancel so beware!
Stay the Hell Away..
All of the reviews below are correct times 10. I pointed out the Chatgpt reviews to them and I noticed an instant change in their reviews. They had someone change the ChatGPT to their advantage. I complained about the bots and Fake leads, spammers they just increased the crappy leads/bots. You have no recourse other than change your company. I have been with Market Peeder for 15 years. I will be moving on after my contract expires.
