This is a scam company! The goods were nothing like the photos or descriptions. The cost does not justify their actual appearance or the materials they are made from. I am utterly disgusted and wanted to warn others. The returns policy states the customer has to return to Asia at their own cost, which is obviously designed to deter people. The items I received are not even fit for the charity shop. They do not even deserve one star. 🤬

I should have had more sense! I ordered two cotton/linen dresses as they looked very pretty. After four weeks, I received two shoddy polyester/spandex dresses in which I wouldnt be seen dead. Returns only to Asia, at my expense! My loss is a charity shop's gain. These crooks are laughing all the way to the bank and must be thinking we Europeans are easy prey. I'm extremely angry. Lesson learned.

Seems I did not do my homework and bought a lightweight jacket from these scammers. It took 3 weeks to get here and barely resembles the one advertised. Luckily the size is smaller than it should be, so I cannot wear the thing, so will not feel embarrassed going out with it on ! AVOID AT ALL COST !!!

Quality of shoes is awful, no chance of a refund , annoyed at being scammed.

I should have learned my lesson then first time! Once again, the order took around 5 weeks coming from China. Not York as a person may think.
When my two tops arrived they were absolutely nothing like the image or description. Perhaps the closest comparison is that one had short sleeves and the other long. A request to return gets you an address in China and postage (your responsibility) to pay.
It's the charity box fox these tops, I wouldn't wear them. Be warned

Purchased a pair of “leather” shoes which turned out to be plastic, along with being the wrong size and faulty. When I attempted to return the item, I was told that the return destination would cost me as much as the item, even though there was a return address to London on the parcel. Also told that “some items go missing so cannot guarantee any refund if not received”
Was offered a 10% refund or a 50% voucher to spend online. Absolute scam

I orderd a dress from this company when arrived it didn't look anything like what I ordered and the material is not very good quality. When contacted to arrange a return I was offered a 10% discount into my account if I wanted to return it for a full refund i would have to pay £30 delivery which was the coat of the dress.

I ordered a couple of shirts from Marlow York. They arrived today and I couldn’t wait to try them on. A perfect fit, stylish and all that I had hoped for when I placed the order. I wore one this afternoon at the Art Club and received numerous compliments from other members making me feel great.

Most disappointed with trousers not as advertised getting monies back mission impossible won't shop there ever

Rubbish clothes from a company based in China and purporting to be based in York UK.shirt was poor quality at a high price and three sizes too big.

Got conned like everyone else, never saw these reviews before I ordered. Thought i was buying from a very nice looking shop in York but no its chinese junk as we all now know. Deception at best fraud at worst, how these sites are allowed to operate is beyond me.

Never be tempted to buy from this company..they are a scam...no shop in York.. Chinese run crap..garments are not anything like as advertised..poor quality is the only way to describe this lot ..should be tracked with trading standards..order takes weeks ..exported from china to a warehouse in London..then sent out with Royal Mail..no returns ..only at your cost...they give a return address in London near Heathrow...Google it and it shows a terraced house....returns to ,Edward,...come on ...this lot as with most of Chinese origin goods .. dodgy...my shirt went straight to local charity shop...felt embarrassed leaving it there

Ordered a top at £34.95 and paid for another at £30.49 which I didn’t order? Tried to cancel after reporting to my bank and trying to contact company to complain without success. This company I believe is a scam working from outside of the UK and make you think they’re from Marlow or York.( Beware)

If I could give zero stars I would, they are not worth one star. A scam company, selling cheap, very poor quality garments, with no returns policy. Avoid at all costs!

Do not buy from this company. Avoid at all costs, it is a scam. Absolutely appalling experience. Seemingly in the UK but is a factory in China (returns cost £30.00), refunds of 10% after a long process. The dress I received advertised as made of linen and cotton is polyester and other synthetic materials and not the colour on the website. Sizing is completely off, it is far too big. Very poor customer service.

Ordered a flat cap albeit not very expensive. I now cannot find my order on their web page it basically says there is no order 🤦 I've not had a confirmation email as promised. I too am wishing I looked at the reviews first before ordering as this is a totally scam site. Please do not buy from this company.

Total scam, reviews go years, why isn't Google doing anything about it?

Ordered Friday got to ring back my credit card company Monday, they said they can retrieve my money?
I emailed them the same evening demanding money back, credit cards company told me to give it to days, that they'd have no problem retrieving money.
Emails from telling me that it's on its way tracking number etc, all a load of b*******

Foolishly I ordered 2 shirts from this company thinking it was an outlet in YORK ,the shirts looks great but on arrival they were absolute trash,nothing like the shirts on Marlowyork web,cheap design,cheap materials probably cost a few pounds to manufacture in some cheap Chinese sweatshop ,how they get away with this is beyond me,obviously a scam that someone is making lots of money out of,I’m not even going to attempt to return them as I know it will be a complete waste of time and money,
Be very aware treat this company like the plaque avoid at all costs.

We have dealt with Marlow Street, now calling themselves by another name ending in Street. But believe this is the same company. No goods arrived despite chasing. No response from the company other than the parcel has been delivered. Avoid. It's a scam.
