I am a dismayed with the litagation depart.. Please note i am a 76 year old disabled OAP on PIPS. I would hope the depart. has the expertise to deal with rogue cowboys, tradespeople , builders?
I have had a nightmare over a goverment grant ,tax payers money £ for vunuable people, I am tramatised!
The Solictor has milked me over £2,000 just to writ traival letters. No mention of the Disability Act or the Freedom of Information Act!
Now wants £2,000 up front for a so called Barrister opinion?
I am not inpressed- dissatisfied.
P.S When I had to see the Solicitor , I was in great pain due to a franctured right shoulder , had brought a heavy bundle of House Deeds , and had done a long train journey not even offered a glass of water.

Don’t respond to new business emails. Main phone line engaged tone, no facility to leave voicemail. Not what I expect from a multi practice solicitor. Apology offered yet no urgency to rectify and couldn’t get off the phone to me quick enough. Disappointing.

Our solicitor Alun Jones and his PA Allie, could not have been more helpful, patient and understanding. Moving home after 30 years was very traumatic and without their help would have been even more so.

I was told Martyn Prowel Gartsides thought they could help me with a professional negligence claim that got me drowning in debt through ill advice. They charged me £300 and said they couldn’t help me. Two previous solicitors didn’t charge me - did the decent thing. I don’t know how these people can sleep at night doing this to people
