Finally arrived. Cheap crap, wrong colors, and they’ve been deaf to appeals. They should be ashamed. I really liked the pictured design, but reality is flimsy, undersized cheat metal and plastic.

Late order and wrong items

I received my order after 17 days, quite a bit longer than they quoted and an entire week after Christmas. One of the items is not what I ordered at all and the necklace I ordered was so tangled I am not sure I will ever get it straightened out. I will be returning everything.

I fell for the scam with Marysgem.com

I fell for the scam. There is a sweet made up story about a Mary in Mattituck, New York. The goods delivered are cheap products in pretty boxes. I was unhappy because I did not get a ring that I ordered and the website shows it was delivered.

I tried on an earring and it fell apart immediately,

The items delivered do not match the images and if one wants a refund, the items must be returned to China.

American Express took care of me. Check before you purchase.

Very clearly I was fraudulently cheated…

Very clearly I was fraudulently deceived with Mary's website and I placed an order. I should have paid attention to the warning signs I noticed, but I was a sucker for Mary's "fake" message in her "About me" page. It is all artificial. I've been swindled. Even if product does eventually arrive it will NOT be what I thought I had ordered. Even if something quality comes, the memories associated with it will be tarnished.

Don't do business with them. It is deceptive.

I can now see that their contact phone number has a 555 area code, which is fictional.

Although led to believe the product is coming from Mary's NY studio, returns are directed to be sent at customer expense to a city in the Zhejiang province of China.

I ordered the Vintage Natural Blue…

I ordered the Vintage Natural Blue Stone Ring. I was eagerly waiting for it as it looked lovely in the photo. I am sad to say that the quality, the stones are nothing as presented.
The ring is NOT silver, and the stones are not real. The larger light blue stone is plastic and doesn't even fit properly in the setting. Please be advised that things are not always as they appear. The $34.99 is not worth the effort to return. You are not saving $120 as stated. It is a $34.99 cheaply made ring. Sorry Mary.

PRODUCT DOESN'T MATCH WHAT YOU ORDER!

I saw a silver daisy ring on the website and decided to buy it for my daughter for Christmas. Like other customers, I felt bad for "Mary" and wanted to help her.
What a sucker I was! When it arrived, I was shocked that it was about ten times smaller than the picture on the website. You couldn't even tell they were daisies! I would be embarrassed to give it to my 25-year-old daughter. My son previously sold jewelry online, and he ensured that his pictures accurately represented the products customers received. I strongly advise against ordering from this company, as you will likely be disappointed.

They are dishonest

They are dishonest. There is no "Mary" and the work is not done in New York, but in China. My shipment has never arrived and the tracking is a farse -- as if it's coming, but hasn't arrived in 15 days. I doubt I will receive what I ordered. I warn anyone considering this business, go elsewhere.

Absolute garbage! Chinese Scam!

Absolute garbage!! It's a scam! There is no "Mary" who is selling her business because of health issues. She doesn't design herself in her studio In Mattituck, NY and once you get the jewelry you'll see it's complete garbage!! It's a Chinese scam, don't fall for it!

It’s a SCAM

It’s a SCAM. Jewelry is shipped from China, there is nothing handmade about it. Cheap quality and poorly made. All around it is a scam. DO NOT BUY.

Don’t do it …

I have actually not ordered from here but I almost did. After reading all of the one star reviews which by the way had far more then 2,3,4, and 5 star reviews combined. You can tell that the 5 star reviews are paid for and just fake. It’s so sad how we naturally support china industry so much in American yet it appears they want to scam us as well. So incredibly sad our society’s morals and values have taken a complete nose dive in the last several years. Don’t buy from this company. It’s definitely a scam. So sad. These types places should be ashamed.

Hong Kong Scam

Found out this jewelry is made, billed and shipped from Hong Kong and not made with the craftsmanship of “Mary.” Ordered items 6 weeks ago. They have my money, so where is the jewelry that “she” personally does not make? I definitely think based on my experience thus far, that this is a scam. To date, I have not received a confirmation email or tracking information. Extremely disappointed and feel that I have been taking advantage of.

DON"T Order anything from Mary Gems

I ordered earrings for 35.99 as i saw the add on facebook. They are a scam. I ordered them on 12/9 and should have had "express shipping". I called and their number is out of order. They have still not been delivered. I called my credit card company and they are reversing the charges. I then found this website and now see all the 1 star ratings saying how terrible the product is from china. That is not what the website claims. I thought i was supporting a small women owned business in NY who is going to be retiring due to medical conditions. I feel so stupid now. At least I am getting my money back!!

Actually they don’t even deserve 0…

Actually they don’t even deserve 0 stars as it’s a scam. Claim to be a woman working out of storefront in Mattituck, New York and she’s going out of business after 20 years. Takes forever to receive jewelry and then it’s not what was pictured. “Crystal” gems turn out to be plastic. You receive earrings with a broken back. The other items are cheap junk. When you contact the company they are so “polite” and tell you to return the jewelry which has to go to china (even tho they have a”storefront” in New York) but it costs a fortune so you don’t send. None of the phone numbers are functional, either. There’s also a connection to Beth’s Gems so beware, don’t let them catch you elsewhere.

This is a scam

This is a scam. The advertising is false. The items shown on the site are not what you receive. They are cheap Chinese knock offs. I am in the process of returning the items as the selling said they would refund when I return the items. Now they are telling me they cannot refund me, even though I have provided shipping details. Hopefully this will help others before they waste their money.

I ordered quite a few pair of earrings…

I ordered quite a few pair of earrings because they looked beautiful, very reasonably priced, and hand made in the USA. After about a week ordering and requesting tracking I was sent the tracking info and saw they were originating in China! China! How does a self proclaimed jewelry maker in New York assemble HER hand made jewelry, made in the USA. I received the earrings a couple days ago and I am convinced they are made in a factory in China. They look, feel and wear like a cheap pair of earrings you can buy at at costume jewelry store. I'm so disappointed that she scammed me. I did report the transaction to the BBB for whatever good that will do.

Her explanation of the China warehouse

Hi Lorena,

I hope you are doing great.

Thank you for your inquiry about my warehouse location and production process. I appreciate your interest and want to provide some clarity.

I am a proud US-based company with our main operations and headquarters located here. However, for larger-scale production and to accommodate the space needed for crafting our handmade jewelry, we utilize warehouse facilities in China.

I understand this arrangement may have caused some confusion, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Please rest assured that regardless of our warehouse location, you will receive your order.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or need additional information about our products or processes.

This is a SCAM!!

This is a SCAM!!! Buyer beware!
I was scammed from this place. IMary’s Gems showed up on my instagram feed and after looking at all of the reviews on the site, which had all positive five star reviews, and reading her story, I decided to purchase because there was a store closing discount. After waiting four weeks to receive what I had purchased and to say it was a disappointment is such an understatement. I thought I was buying high-end or higher and merchandise. When I received it, It was cheap, flimsy, and looked like it was from China. I wrote an email to their store and said I was completely disappointed and they said you can return it back to China. But I know how this works. It’s expensive I would not probably get a refund so I am completely scammed. Don’t buy from this establishment. I don’t know where they get their reviews. They are completely fake or stolen from somebody else. A complete rip off.

Mary’s gems is a fake store

Ordered on November 5. 2024. Saw on FB saying Mary’s gems will be closing the store in Mattituck, and items are discounted. Thought the store was real. It’s a fake store. Now if you search this address it’s a crystal emporium store now. Still haven’t received my order till today Dec 9. Tracking has stopped since Dec 3, 2024. If you email at info@marysgems, you will get all sorts of excuses.

If no stars was an option is what I would give. Scam scam scam
I received my order but NOTHING what it looked like in photos. The earrings were supposed to be silver but in fact “Painted” silver- they are ripping people off. I would think all the supposed “good” reviews are fake- so disappointed in me for falling for this. Do not order from them!!
