Predatory and scary!!!
This site is a front for prostitution and is run by a complete and total psychopath. When I emailed the owner with some concerns when I was in the process of posting an ad there, he responded back in the most rude, derogatory, predatory and quite frankly psychopathic manner; this creep actually threatened me with violence! This site needs to be investigated and taken down by the FBI. Steer clear.

I am a state-licensed, insured, background-checked massage therapist with 17 years of experience. I paid for a 90-day ad run on this site back in 2017. At the time, I was completely unaware of the site's connection to illegal activities. I thought it was a legitimate site for REAL, LEGAL massage therapists who offered ONLY therapeutic massage. I quickly learned that the site's fine print disclaimer about not allowing illegal activities was merely a formality. I got nothing but perverts callingvme, asking for things other than massage. I purposely did not pay to renew my ad and also emailed the site to report my issues and ask that my ad be removed. That was back in 2017. I received no initial respinse from the site but continued to receive calls from people wanting prostitution. Last night after receiving yet another pervert caller who stated he had found me on the site, I emailed them again, explained the situation (again) and asked that my ad be immediately removed. Unbelievably this is the response I got today, copied word for word: To whom it may concern:

"Your ad, your problems dealing with people and the consequences of your choices are exactly that: yours.  We're not responsible for them.  We're also not your psychiatrist or your maid.  The website is self-service.  You have to clean up after yourself."

So yeah, I'm reporting them to the better business bureau and may consult a lawyer. Who respinds like that to a complaint such as mine?! At this point I am certain they have purposely left my ad up in order to make it look like they have more available "ladies". Unless you're looking for a prostitute or you are advertising sex services, I highly suggest that you do NOT advertise on or use this site.

I see that this site don't treat everyone the same.. Sad person that run this site.. The rules don't apply to everyone. Its BS. People on there with Made up names no Licensed #.. But they didn't get kicked off.

They say everyone has to have a massage license number listed in their profile, but 90% don't. I reported many that didn't.99% of the men aren't licensed and are on that site to assault women. They wrote back and were incredibly rude. The site owner has to be a man because what they said to me in defense of predators was outrageous. There's no rhyme or reason why so many aren't licensed but those who are licensed and put the number on their site (me) got their account suspended.

MassageAnywhere is SO bogus. Most of the ads are YEARS old which I found out when two of the providers responded. They indicated they have not paid for the advertising for years and one had even quit doing massage years ago. Most of the providers I contacted did not respond to emails, text or phone calls. The site is next to worthless.

Customer service wrote me an email calling me ‘sister’ and making threats when I simply told them the same rules should apply to everyone. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming.
