Cindy matched and coached both sides of this love connection. We are coming up on a second holiday season together. We are currently celebrating with a second trip to Maui. We found love again at 77 & 83 thanks to the Match Making Team

I have been with Matchmaking over 2 years. I have met 3 men that weren’t anything like what I asked for. I met one that was possible but he had no interest in me. So no second dates. I also had 3 that decided after one short conversation they didn’t think we were a match. Isn’t that Matchmaking job?! Because of Matchmaking I have decided I’m better off alone.

In the end, it worked out. I found a good match. Initially it was difficult to go through so many matches that felt like weren’t a good fit. But that’s expected when you trying to find the right fit.

I have met a couple very special ladies! Even if they're not "forever" romantic friends...I hope they will stay friends

It was so fabulous the way they gathered so much information about me. Very thorough.
They explained they did this with all customers.
No wonder they matched me with such good matches.
Many employees are helping throughout the process.
The background check was the best, not having to worry about that type of thing.
I’m a guy; but it is so important to ladies.

What makes my experience great is that it is fun and a happy meetup is next to certain since my matchmaking team does the preliminary work. From background check to financial status to actual 1st date advice my dating team has been accurate and helpful. I look forward to my next match

I signed up with Southwest Matchmakers (The Matchmaking Company) in mid-2022 after an uncomfortable high-pressure sales meeting with Ashlee. Despite my buyer’s remorse (over $6,000 later), I had high hopes and an open mind when I began my matchmaking journey. I can honestly say that after three years in this program, I would not, could not in good faith recommend this company to anyone. It has become very clear to me that there truly is no matchmaking involved in this company; it is purely the luck of the draw. I have repeatedly been matched not with individuals who meet my preferences, but with those who have just joined the program and are relatively in my age group. The pool is small; it is not sufficient to meet the hopes and desires of those who sign up for this service. I have met 11 people through this program over the past three years. Some (grown men, by the way) still lived with their parents, some were unemployed, some still did drugs recreationally… I was repeatedly matched with people who did not fit the age range, location, career type, or life goals that I desired. After a few matches, I began to dread receiving calls from Southwest Matchmakers, wondering what kind of person they were going to offer me next, what I would be settling for this time. I have been putting off writing this review despite my poor experiences, selfishly to avoid possible retaliation or to miss out on someone who COULD potentially be a match for me, but I cannot, in good conscience, stay quiet about this company anymore. Southwest Matchmakers is a great idea, in theory, and a true disappointment in reality.

“Consider this your warning: some lessons cost more than money.”
Thank God I didn’t hand over my credit card. The Matchmaking Company invited me in for an “intake session” that felt more like a sales pitch. The rep seemed friendly at first, praising my character and saying she was a great judge of people (bait). But when I asked about costs and said I wanted to research before committing, she snatched the brochure from my hands and rudely showed me the door.
Think about it: would you buy a car by giving your credit card first and asking questions later? Of course not. Any company that pushes you to pay before proving their value—and kicks you out for asking questions—is not worth your trust.
Afterward, I researched them myself: most reviews (around 85%) were negative. In the office, I only saw glowing five-star reviews. The truth seems carefully hidden—at least until they’ve charged your card.

It took my almost one year to actually build up the courage to come in but now I’m happy I did. Maya gave me a warm greeting, was thorough with all the information and was very professional.

I've had quite a journey working with this company. Mine isn't over yet, but the people have been extremely helpful and compassionate and I've met many interesting people along the way. I have complete trust in the service. Highly recommended.

Maya was very professional, helpful, and informative. She also worked within my means which I really appreciate. This is a very emotional process and she made me feel comfortable with everything we spoke about.

Finally update: 8/21/2025
After my last update, the company reached out yet again. This time, they offered me $1,000—but only if I signed an NDA and updated my review. In other words, they wanted me to lie or hide my true experience in exchange for money. I refused and responded that the only fair resolution would be a full refund. Immediately after, they withdrew their $1,000 offer and sent me a threatening email.
At this point, it is clear this company is more concerned with controlling their online reputation than actually providing the service people paid thousands of dollars for. Instead of accountability, they resort to intimidation and manipulation. This is not how an ethical business operates.
I am leaving this update so future customers know exactly what they are walking into. My experience has been nothing but dishonesty, pressure tactics, and threats.

Update 2: 8/19/2025!
After leaving my initial review below, the company reached out to me directly and offered $300 worth of “personal dating coaching” if I updated or removed my review. This raises serious concerns about the authenticity of the reviews posted here, since customers are being incentivized to alter their feedback. Reviews should reflect genuine experiences—not be influenced by payments or offers. I believe it’s important for others considering this service to be aware of this practice.

Negative 1 mil!
I signed up with this matchmaking company in October 2023 with high hopes of finding a meaningful connection—ideally, my soulmate. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing and feels more like dealing with used car salespeople than professionals genuinely interested in helping people find love.
They made all kinds of promises just to get me to sign up and take my money, but none of them were fulfilled. I’ve had seven so-called “matches”—each one completely incompatible and nowhere near the criteria I clearly outlined from the beginning.
One match was recently divorced, still referring to his ex-wife as “his wife,” and openly shared that he was dealing with an addictive personality. While he claimed to be sober, he also casually talked about smoking weed at age 45—hardly the stable, emotionally available partner I asked for.
What’s worse, the company is unresponsive—they rarely answer phone calls or follow up with care or intention. It’s clear they’re not invested in actually helping their clients.
This has been a complete waste of time and money. I strongly advise others to think twice before signing up. What they sell is a fantasy—not a service based on truth, care, or integrity.
