Exceptional customer service that truly exceeded my expectations!
I reached out to Maverick & Co regarding an exchange due to a defect, and during the return process I made a mistake entirely on my end by sending the item with an incorrect label. I fully accepted the loss and did not expect anything further.
To my surprise, Angelica and the Maverick & Co. customer service team went above and beyond and offered to send me a brand new replacement bag as a courtesy. This level of understanding, professionalism, and goodwill is extremely rare today.
On top of that, I genuinely loved the quality of the bag itself hence exchange request. The materials, craftsmanship, and overall feel are excellent, and it is exactly what I was looking for in a travel back bag.
Communication throughout the process was prompt, polite, and genuinely customer focused. They did not hide behind policy, but instead chose to do what was right, and that speaks volumes about their brand values.
I truly appreciated how they handled the situation and I would not hesitate to recommend Maverick & Co. to anyone looking for quality products backed by outstanding customer support. This experience alone has made me a loyal customer.

I bought 2 bags separately, paying a total of £38 in postage which I thought was due to postage from Hong Kong to UK. In fact, both bags arrived from UK. When I queried the postage, was sent the standard polite but useless reply about shipping time, weight etc etc. You would think that shipping within the same country for items valued at £300 would be free! Maverick refuse to pay return costs. I will keep the bags because they clearly like to make it difficult to return anything but will never buy from them again. Wish I'd read the reviews before I made the purchases!

I bought a briefcase for my boyfriend and within a month the bottom seams ripped on both sides. They said they would replace it but the customer support team was difficult to deal with seeing as though he couldn’t be without one. Bought him a Tumi one this Christmas and can already tell how much better the quality is. Don’t waste your money.

Extremely disappointing – avoid this shop!
This online shop is a complete nightmare. The return process is unnecessarily complicated, confusing, and clearly designed to discourage customers from sending items back. Instead of a straightforward and customer-friendly system, you are forced through endless steps, unclear instructions, and long waiting times.
The worst part comes with the refund: they simply deduct a significant amount of money without any explanation whatsoever. No transparent breakdown, no justification, and no helpful response from customer service. Messages are either ignored or answered with meaningless copy-and-paste replies.
This is highly unprofessional and feels borderline dishonest. Ordering here is a risk, as you cannot trust that you will receive a full and fair refund. I strongly recommend staying away from this shop. This was my first and definitely my last order.

I ordered a backpack, and then the price reduced, so I cancelled the original order and ordered again at the reduced price. Then it happened again. I received a reply from a bot saying my second order would be cancelled and refunded, but it didn't happen, so I ended up with two backpacks. I tried to return one, but the company refused, despite UK law clearly giving consumers the right to return goods within 14 days for a full refund if ordered on line. So now I have 2 backpacks, when I only wanted one, and Maverick has lost my goodwill...
Unless they reconsider.
After seeing the reply below, I had hopes they would try to accommodate an unhappy customer. They didn't, even though costs would have been minimal for an improved review. So my advice is don't give them your business. The company name says more about them than they probably realise.

I purchased the Maverick & Co. Manhattan Double Zip (originally $300) with the expectation of long-term durability. Unfortunately, after just two years of use, the handle has completely failed due to what appears to be a structural defect in the stitching/load-bearing point.
Despite marketing themselves as a premium brand, their support was extremely disappointing. Because I am technically outside their 1-year warranty, they refused to consider a defect exception. Their only "solutions" were:
A 30% discount on a new bag. However, since they have raised their prices to $500, this "discount" would result in me paying MORE than the original price of the bag ($350 vs $300).
Paying $70+ out of pocket to ship the defective bag to Hong Kong for a repair.
For a bag at this price point, a handle should not fail in 24 months, and a customer should not be expected to pay 25% of the product's value in shipping just to fix a manufacturing flaw. I cannot recommend this brand to anyone looking for actual quality or reliable customer service. Beware of the "luxury" marketing—the durability does not match the price tag.
Lastly, they primarily use AI to screen and respond to support cases. Oddly, even after providing the receipt, they said they could not locate the order. Buyer Beware of this company!

I purchased the FC Barcelona leather briefcase some 14 months ago. Aesthetically, the bag looks very nice and I have received several compliments in relation to its look.
Unfortunately, like many of the comments here, the issue lies in the craftsmanship. In particular, the stitching for the handles started tearing through normal use and one of the handles has now completely broken off. The second handle is fairing only slightly better but is also showing signs of tearing. Regardless, a single handle is redundant and the only way to use is it now is via the shoulder strap.
Unfortunately, it appears that most of the Maverick and Co briefcases utilise the same style of handles. Despite liking the looks of the bag, such a key issue arising after just 14 months of use is fatal when looking for a quality bag.

This company is a scam do not support them, cheap Temu quality at a premium price and their customer service is horrible.
Buyer beware.
I purchased two bags and the quality was terrible, the briefcase was cheap (plastic like) and the embroidery was dodgy but the worst part was the zipper doesn't close and when i asked them for support they said rub a candle on it or return it at my own expense (however due to the Embroidery there is no returns in their policy).

My experience was mixed in the beginning because the company did not have a replacement policy for the strap and they only recommeded that I buy a replacement. That is fine I was willing to purchase it because my husband loves his briefcase but when I saw the shipping fee costs more than the strap I was taken aback. Its great that the company is doing a one time courtesy and will replace the strap. I will continue to shop here because of the good customer service.

I receive many compliments on the bag I purchased, and even though one of the straps broke a few years after I made the purchase, customer service were easily contactable, quick to respond and extremely understanding, replacing the broken part.
Would recommend to anyone who wants a timeless piece.
