Ivan was great. Very familiar with our fridge and quick diagnosis. Contacted us as soon as the part came in for a quick install.

This is one crooked company. They will lie and tell you they install oem parts on your appliance. They install cheap parts but charge you for the expensive parts. I caught them and now they ignore me and don’t even have the decency to call a customer back. Shame on this pos company.

Max Appliance repair was responsive and efficient. Yaro quickly determined that our dishwasher was not repair-able (we suspected) and was able to install our new one within days. Yaro was efficient and respectful and capable. Highly recommend.

I recently had Ivan in to install my new dishwasher and update the water delivery system. He is beyond efficient and professional. He had everything done within the hour. This was his second visit. He tried his best to fix my 20 yr old dishwasher; when he knew it wasn’t possible he gave me advice on what unit to buy and also advised me to update the hose for insurance purposes. Ivan is amazing so if you need help with any appliance don’t hesitate to call Max Repair and request Ivan!

We had a noise in our Subzero freezer, so we contacted Max Appliance Repair in Halifax. One of their technicians came in and did the necessary repair. To do this he had to remove the two drawers. After he left, we discovered that top drawer did not close quite as easily as before but did close. We then went away for about three weeks. When we returned, we realized that sometimes the drawer was not completely closing or was popping open.

I called Max Appliance to request that someone come to deal with this problem caused by your technician. I was told by the receptionist that we would have to pay for the call because this was a "new problem!". On the receipt it says, "90-day warranty" and we believed that this problem was caused by the technician so we felt that the problem should be covered by warranty.

I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. The receptionist said that she would pass on the information and that someone would call me back. A week later I again called and requested (by voice mail) a phone call from a supervisor/manager. After waiting almost two weeks to hear from the company, we called another appliance service company to come in to fix the problem.

Apparently when the Max technician replaced the drawer, he did not reset the lock on the drawer. The new technician flipped this lock (less than five minutes) and now the drawer is working correctly.

I then sent a message through the company’s website asking for a phone call or response to the message to ask them to honour their warrantee – did not receive a call or email so sent another request – still no response!

It is not the repair work done by this company that we are unhappy with. I’m sure if the technician had the opportunity to return, he would have realized his mistake and been able to correct it very quickly and we would have been happy customers.

It is the management of this company that we are unhappy with. Instead of dealing with our problem they have just ignored us and refuse to even communicate with us.

Yaro was extremely professional and efficient. His personable nature was refreshing. Thank you for the great service. He arrived on time and updated me on all work being conducted.

Worst company ever, they claim that they will charge you $99 + tax and then they don’t have have a solution to fix your problem. He recommend me to change my stove as it will cost me $900 with labour to get some switches changed and one burner fixed.

Ivan ivanshako was an excellent technician. He explained everything very well, and made certain everything was approved by me before fixing my parents fridge.

I would give them 0 stars . They technician who came to my house is called Yaroslav Kobzev . He is very aggressive and rude person who shouldn’t be going to people’s houses . The manager called me to make sure I am more frustrated because of her answers . I see if all those customers are not satisfied and the same Technichian is being sent to their houses to take their money . We should make sure to stop them .

Washer not working. Called and got an immediate response and within hours Ivan arrived. Spent quite some time diagnosing the situation, thoroughly(and patiently) explained the problem and outlined potential next steps so we cold decide what to do. Thought Ivan was great and knowledgeable and really appreciated the quick response.

This company sent a technician named Yaroslav Kobzev that couldn't program a control panel for a General Electric washer that is 5 years old. Needless to say I still have no washer and I am out $269. I tried to contact the owner to discuss this matter but all you get is a foreigner whose English is not that great. When I tell them I am an unsatisfied customer they hang up on you. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. Poor customer service only cares about ripping customers off!!!!!!!

We received quick same day repair service which was great. Our technician Ivan was wonderful, so professional and proficient, he quickly determined the issue was able to order the part we needed on a Friday afternoon made a temporary fix to get us through the weekend and was here Monday morning with the part and installed it. Great service great results I highly recommend Ivan.

This company did damage to my floor while working on my refrigerator. He tried to cover it up before I noticed. There was no offer to fix and give refund. I do not recommend using them as they were not professional.
