Ordered video doorbell via Wowcher never arrived and no communication at all. Will never buy from again be warned.

Purchased a wireless doorbell & camera on Wowcher, item was never sent and company did not respond to any emails. Thank god I used PayPal and got a full refund.

Would not recommend this company!!!

Purchased this doorbell from Wowcher but firstly was disappointed I had to purchase the battery charger myself after the fact as it was only supplied with 2 re-chargeable batteries!!

It worked fine for a while & was pretty good quality

It stopped working & was under ‘warranty’ so got in touch with Wowcher who said to contact the supplier

I emailed support @maxwe.net so many times & eventually got a reply asking for the order number, which was already the subject line, then nothing further

Decided to try Wowcher again some time later & managed to get a full refund as Wowcher credit

I think Wowcher should be checking these companies out before listing them

I bought this item through wowcher then found the reviews.
I have had to buy the batteries and charger separately but after charging batteries connected up I have had no problem with the bell or video.

Never received all the batteries so it doesn't work. They won't let me return for refund and are since ignoring all contact. Don't bother wasting your money

I purchased 2 wireless doorbells, 1 for myself and 1 as a gift through Wowcher. Wish I had been a bit more savvy and looked more into the supplier Maxwe, I assumed all would be ok.

Basically, when they arrived, they did not work as they should. The camera itself worked, I was able to download the app for the XSH cam no problem and view the camera through my phone, but that was it. It did not ever pick up on any motion when someone comes to my door, or when ringing the doorbell.
It notified me that there was movement when the camera/doorbell was physically handled when being fitted to the door. It also notified me constantly when no one was there. My phone would keep ringing throughout the day randomly to say someone was at the door, but no one was. I also checked for cats, cars and neighbours going by as sometimes I would be at home to check.

But when the postman came, or family friends ring the door bell, I wouldn't be notified at all.

Also, I don't understand why they would supply a door bell when you cant even here the actual doorbell ring? The sound worked on the outside of the house, but there were no fixtures or anything to be able to hear the doorbell ring on the inside of your house, only through your phone (if it works).

I contacted Maxwe directly by email as there appears to be no phone number for them. I got no reply or acknowledgment at all. So I emailed again a few days later to chase my concerns. Again no reply.

I contacted Wowcher and explained everything that had happened and expressed that I felt MAxwe were classic . Claire from Wowcher was helpful and tried to contact them herself but she was unable to get a response, so luckily Wowcher just refunded me instead. Although extremely grateful they did, I am so shocked they are still dealing with maxwe (as my incident with Maxwe was some time ago) and especially now after reading all these reviews which I wish I saw before.

My advice, regardless of how good the deal looks with their door bells or dash cams or whatever they are trying to flog. Avoid. They are absolute hustlers. Still to this day Maxwe have not responded to me and by the looks of it I am not the only one.

Bought doorbell through wowcher. Absolute rubbish. Does not work. Fitting and screws are also wrong size. Total disgrace. Do not waste your money. Wish I had read the reviews before buying.

Complete junk. Bought Smart Doorbell. No batteries. No SD Card. No Charger. No Ringer. No Free Cloud. Biggest pile of junk. Which I'd read the reviews first.
It works but the SD card slot cant be fitted with an SD card in the slot and they want to charge for the cloud storage.
Please please do not buy this garbage! Go to Amazon you'll save money in the long run!

Avoid these crooks, doorbell not received ignored my emails lost the extra on top for priority delivery. Worst customer service I’ve ever done across. Now with resolver.

Bought Dash Cam from Woucher,but parts missing. Wowcher gives this Company,but they dont respond to emails.AVOID,LIKE COVID 19...YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY.

I bought 2 doorbell cameras choosed the most expensive package. When I opened the envelope was just 2 cameras together (when they charged £5.99 each for postage) No batteries or charger for them. I am very disappointed. This was a gift so end up buying something else. Since then I am trying to get in contact with Maxwe for a refund and nothing. I put near £100 there and got nothing...

Utter rubbish - brought dash cam - NO SD CARD WITH IT , BOX WAS CRUSHED AND DAMP AND NO RESPONSE BACK FROM THEM - WILL NOT BUY THROUGH WOWCHER AGAIN AS THERE ARE TONS OF COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS COMPANY BUT THEY ARE STILL SELLING THEIR PRODUCTS FOR THEM - SHAME ON YOU WOWCHER !!!!!

I had a video doorbell from this company it wasn't up to scratch it wasn't worth 5 pence when I try to get in touch with the company you never get any anything back off them then absolutely useless .

Have returned an item and provided appropriate receipts and evidence and have still not received my money back. No answer to emails. I would not recommend ordering from this site. Customer service is poor and I just want my money back.

What a complete pile of s**t. The second replacement was just as terrible as the first. Don't buy one and don't waste your money. It will take you 3 weeks attempting to set it up as its hopeless.

Wish I had seen this before I ordered. No instructions, not sure what the app is. Bought from Wowcher but notice amazon have stopped selling!

I wish I had just read the reviews, another wowcher purchaser, absolute garbage doesn't work, there's no way to call Maxwe and you have to pay to return despite the fact you already paid for delivery, there should be a way to highlight with wowcher they shouldn't be allowing a company to continuously sell faulty goods.

What an absolute con no batteries included because the batteries that you need I’ll specialist batteries and they need a charger so you have to purchase both batteries and charger. So haven’t been able to test if it actually works never again will I be fooled into buying anything through wowcher or from Maxwe

I bought this camera from Wowcher and surprise surprise it didn’t work ! I’ve sent them the doorbell back and they’re refusing to refund me! Wowcher are trying to get my money back but they keep running me around in circles (maxwe) spamming me the same email about how to return the parcel when it was confirmed delivered on the 11th of May and it’s now the 20th!!! DO NOT ORDER !! I’m going to call my bank and never use Wowcher again!
