Ordered Laminate for lounge and hall , good choice of stock and very helpfully staff in showroom . Decided to order carpet for landing and a runner for stairs as again great choice of stock . Fitting took place yesterday , the 2 fitters were great and the floors look amazing , just waiting for the stair runner after Xmas . Very good company, quality stock and great prices and we’ve also ordered floor for the kitchen . I highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed

We found the company via Facebook and their work looked really good so we booked a visit to measure up for bathroom flooring.
They arrived promptly and were very warm and friendly,not pushy at all.
We had our quote within 24 hrs and went in that day chose our flooring and had it fitted within 2 weeks which was great considering it was middle of December.
The fitters were prompt, polite and very quick and efficient

MCK flooring has fitted LVT Herringbone Flooring in our recently refurbished kitchen diner and cloakroom toilet/sink area.
The fitter was punctual , polite and very respectful towards our property and showed excellent workmanship.

My experience with MCK Flooring was excellent from start to finish. The team provided a clear quote and demonstrated great professionalism throughout the supply and fit process in my home. The job was completed efficiently, the standard of work is superb, and the aftercare advice was highly useful. A genuinely stress-free experience I'd happily recommend.

Alex came out with some samples to view and measured up for a new lounge carpet and laminate flooring in 2 bedrooms. I was delighted with his knowledge on the products and his advice. The fitters Damien and Ben came out a week later and in no time the carpet and laminates were down and fitted. Wow what a difference a week makes. Im so pleased with the end result. The price and finished job were both brilliant.

I have just recently had LVT fitted in my kitchen.. I am really happy with the whole job from the minute I stepped foot in the shop. Alex was really good very kind and helpful. Got us booked in, came, measured up and even got it in for fitting before Christmas. Damien the floor fitter was also brilliant. He was clean, tidy and very professional. Charlotte was also very helpful with correspondence. Alex again called a few days later to make sure we are happy. Overall a really good experience thankyou.

this time was my daughters , pressure on with 3 days spare , from Alex measuring to order and fit .. perfect .. can’t thank them enough and 5 stars should be 10… not a single issue at all ..

Not a great experience overall. The fitters turned up late, communication wasn’t good, and they left bags of carpet waste behind. Just didn’t feel professional, so I wouldn’t recommend them

What a great service from start to finish, we made an enquiry, we were booked in for an appointment the following day and fitted with our new carpet within the week, from Charlotte handling the admin, to Chris completing the quote, to Steve completing the fitting of the carpet, the service has been first class. I would highly recommend.

From first contact in store to measuring up and fitting I couldn't fault MCK flooring, they are extremely knowledgeable when discussing flooring as I wasn't sure what was best in regards to flooring, I needed. They fitted both LVT flooring and carpet and their attention to detail is second to none. The guy who came to measure was very thorough and ensured everything was ordered in readiness to fit. On the fitting day they arrived on time and were very respectful of my home, they have done a fantastic job and I'm thrilled with the finished look. Thank you again for your fantastic workmanship and attention to detail, I'm not easily pleased (I'm fussy) but I could not fault this company. I would recommend them to everyone thanks again.

I had really positive experience with MCKflooring, the staff were respectful and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends.

The carpet quality itself was acceptable and generally in line with expectations, however the overall service delivery from MCK Flooring was disappointing.

Appointments were cancelled with little notice, engineers arrived late, and communication throughout the process was poor.

Managing timelines was stressful and lacked any sense of reliability or customer care.

Based on the experience, I would not recommend this company.

Really happy with my new carpet for my stairs and landing. It looks fantastic. Really high quality stuff. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it was a great price aswell. Would fully recommend Mckflooring to anybody!

Had my carpet done recently, and honestly, these guys were brilliant. From the first message, they were really helpful and quick to respond. They talked me through the options without any pressure, which I really appreciated!

The fitters turned up on time, got straight to work, and did an amazing job. Everything looks spot on, and they left the place tidy too. You can tell they actually care about doing things properly.

Nailed through a cable and left me with no power while fitting new carpet.

On top of that, the customer service was poor and rude — staff argued and shouted in my home, there was no apology, and no offer to find what caused issue or provide compensation. Very disappointing - I'd avoid.

Edit: You did attend my property, and there was an argument about whether you caused the issue. To state “you did not attend” is simply untrue.

You also claim the fault was pre-existing without ever inspecting the affected area. The power failed immediately after your fitters nailed the grippers down — draw your own conclusions.

I stand by my review.

We have used MCK on three occasions, but the most recent experience was unacceptable and has changed our view of the company.

Electrical issue during fitting
While the carpet was being fitted, the power tripped and a damaged cable was identified. Despite this occurring during their attendance, MCK immediately asserted that it “could not be them”, relying on general theory rather than investigating what actually happened at the property.

We were left without power because the electrician MCK relied upon was on holiday. I carried out a temporary repair myself. MCK refused to acknowledge responsibility.

Although MCK may state that they “offered solutions”, those offers were framed without accountability. Inspections were conditional and carefully positioned to avoid liability rather than establish cause.

Fitting quality and workmanship
Since bringing fitting in-house, quality has declined. The first installation was poor, the follow-up failed to correct it, and only on the third visit was the carpet finally cut, trimmed and stretched properly. Fitters also left a bag of carpet waste behind for us to dispose of ourselves.

Conduct
Staff were dismissive and defensive throughout.

Conclusion
This was not miscommunication, it was a systematic avoidance of responsibility combined with declining workmanship. A simple on-site inspection, accountability and quality control would have prevented this. We would not recommend MCK based on this experience.

(Replies below are untrue, electrican offered was to check the work I completed outright refused to confirm the source of the problem, we were left the entire day before anyone attended not immediately, they did not ask to attend to check measurements, re-strech is also untrue as it also needed to be cut down.)
