Matt was brilliant from the minute he came to look at our property. He was informative and understood exactly what our plans were and transformed them into life which we would not have done without his help.The relief we had when we knew planning had been accepted was immense and we credit that to Matt.

Having met other architects to quote for extending the rear of our property, Matt stood out as the person who listened to what we wanted and looked at the project holistically. He took into account how our family used the space and our future needs. He understood that this was a significant decision for us and offered comprehensive ideas to how we could achieve this. We are midway through the project and it offers us more than we could have imagined. Matt has supported us through every stage and offered advice where needed. We are really excited about living in our new space and the way it will change our lives. Matt has made the whole process from initial discussions through planning to construction very easy. We cannot recommend him enough.

MDT have been superb helping to design our extension and walking us through the process required to get the job done! Quick to reply to any queries… We are currently waiting to get the work started, with all plans submitted and approved in record time!!! I have really enjoyed working with Matt. Matt was really quick to come froward with a sensible quote for a loft conversion design and brought some style and common sense suggestions to the design. We chose Matt because he clearly has extensive experience in our area (chandlers ford) ; he has a creative eye and made a number of great suggestions which made it to our final design; he knows the planning process and requirements well and we had confidence he could help get us through that step (and we did); he also listened to our ideas taking some on board and challenging back on others - a great process that got us a design we are excited about.

Everything has been handled perfectly through the planning. MDT has handled all aspects of communication with the Planning Dept., making it a stress-free process.

We began working with Matt in July 2022, after meeting with several other architectural companies and choosing MDT to work with. We have used Matt a few times now and most recently he designed a complete re-model of a house we have just moved to. Having looked at a by mber of different designs/drawings of other properties in the area, we always came back to the ones designed by Matt at MDT and we are so glad we moved forward with him. We are in the process now of organising the build since obtaining planning approval and look forward to experiencing the space he has designed for us.

We have recently used MDT to design an extension to our 1930's house, from the initial free discussion to now being at the building regs stage we have found Matt to be quick to understand our vision of what we wanted but also offer suggestions,to ensure the plans meet our needs and expectations.

Work on the plans was done quickly and efficiently and if we were not sure of anything it was clarified or altered as needed.

The prices for the design and submission to planning authorities were clearly stated at the start of the project.

I selected MDT Design based upon their history, experience and very good knowledge of the local area. Matt has been fantastic from day one, taking me through the process, suggesting ideas and completing the necessary drawings and information very quickly. The whole application for planning approval has been extremely smooth and completed in just 2 months from our initial discussions. I would have no hesitation in recommending MDT services, they are very personable and are always there to answer queries and provide valuable advice. The builder has also praised the details of the drawing including the measurement data and clear level of information. This is a great endorsement of the level of work and output that MDT provides and definitely use them for any building projects.

Matt did a great job designing our two story rear extension. We had very many rounds of revisions, back-and-forth with planning and building control, and a few last minute (and urgent!) changes of heart. But, Matt managed it all very well and kept the show on the road. As we have begun living in the space, we are noticing lots of touches and thoughtfulness in the design. One of best decisions in the project was trusting in Matt's advice.
