Right out of the box

This was my first use of the Meater. Easy to use. Easy interface with the app. Gave me all the information needed for a great cook including resting time. Had a thick tomahawk steak and used indirect heat to slowly bring up internal temperature. Seared it at the very end for a perfect medium rare.

Great product- Yankee griller makes Texans happy

Great product. easy setup. I now have four, but only one was set up. My sister in law caught on that my wife and her Mom think I don’t understand grilling on account of my heritage and took pity on me. As a Yankee cooking for a couple of Texans (MIL and my wife), there is some pressure involved in grilling the five steaks I put on tonight. The only one that came out perfectly was the one with the meater probe. Next time, I will use all four to account for hot/cold spots on my charcoal grill. So far, so good, and despite my vino-fueled inattention, I haven’t destroyed any of the probes (yet).

Always a perfect cook when I use my…

Always a perfect cook when I use my Meater thermometer. Communicates great with the app on my phone so I can grill outside and stay inside during the cold weather until it is done. Easy to set up on the Meater App gives both visual and audio alerts when the cook is done.

Great device easy app not UK food safe standard too many emails.

Great device. Reasonable accuracy for cooking time. I am still getting to grips with the rest timings. Generally the app works fine. Some cooking temperatures suggested by the App as USA safe are not aligned to UK standards. So it's worth a check. There is too many emails after the cook and whatnot about reviews and products. That is not what I need after buying and using the product.

New Phone; New Meatloaf

I recently go a new phone and started to make a meatloaf yesterday and realized that I didn't have the meter app on my new phone. I went to the website and in seconds had the app on the new phone and was ready to go. Great Job. I love the Meter for its versatility and ease of use.

Poor customer service

Whilst the product was okay - Bluetooth range very short but could live with it, when my charger ceased to work and I contacted MEATER to buy a replacement, I was told I had to pay £80.00 to replace the charger. The unit is made up of extremely low cost items, and to be asked to pay almost the same for a replacement charger as you would a brand new device, this was very disappointing to say the least. Poor business practice in trying to take advantage of a long standing customer. Sadly will not be using the MEATER again due to this experience

Sublime turkey

I have done several meat roasts with this product I didn’t think it was possible to have been cooking meat wrong this device is everything it claims to be it is phenomenal the Christmas turkey was on another level we have used meat thermometers ( that came with the bird) it wasn’t a patch on how this changes your cook I cannot rave about this too much get one
