First time ordering a One Piece figurine. I received the product on time; good quality and great customer experience.

I like most of the offered products, shipping and quality was also alright. The few products I didn't like to see are the nudes which are not marked as such (we expect you to blur these products, imagine there is children surfing on this website!), there was also at least one occult-themed item I saw, that's no good.

Have ordered a couple of times from Meccha Japan before with no real problems. Unfortunately when you need their customer service they just ignore your problem. Recently I placed an order of 5 items, one of which got cancelled. I immediately received a refund which is great. The difference in shipping costs would be refunded at a later date after I asked how this impacted my shipping costs (the item that got cancelled was significantly larger than the other items). I checked what the new shipping costs would be by adding the remaining items to my cart, fill in my address and proceed to check out (without placing an actual order of course). The difference would be around 27 ish euro. Originally 47 ish euro, new shipping costs around 20 ish euro. Unfortunately, what I received as an additional refund for the shipping costs was around 20 ish euro. After I asked if they could look into this the only answer I got was: please be advised that the shipping costs are 27 euro. So no real answer. Not only did my item get cancelled (which can happen but still sucks) I also have to pay 7 euro's more for shipping than I would've had I not ordered the bigger item in the first place. I even have a screenshot of this but you can't send any attachments with their customer forms which is also not customer friendly. And every time you want to contact them you can't reply to their emails but you have to fill in an new customer form. I'll shop elsewhere from now on.
Edit: after posting this review I got a direct email from their support team (not a no-reply email adress this time) which I appreciate. In this email they stated that they contact their customer when bigger differences occur between the estimate en actual shipping costs. I have no actual experience with this so I'm curious whether other customers can vouch for this. At least I am feeling a lot more satisfied that they took the time to explain.

Always quick shipping and easy transactions. Have ordered a couple times to Guam. Customer service is always helpful too when I have questions. Wish shipping wasn't so high but it's not on them. Great place to buy stuff

Genuine products at amazing prices! I even pulled a God Pack from the One Piece PRB-02!!! I thought those were a myth that happened on TikTok and YouTube?!?! Truly an amazing website, easy interface.

One of the worst, if not the actual worst, stores I've had the displeasure of dealing with. I've used a multitude of stores to buy various goods from Japan and this was insulting to deal with. Had to pay extra for shipping because they couldn't calculate the total correctly for an IN-STOCK item. I don't mind having to pay extra due to changes in shipping and fees due to being in the USA with all the tarrifs, but this store made it the absolute worst to deal with. Every other site I've had to pay extra for was due to them being pre-orders that were made before tarrifs and anytime I made a recent order for in stock items, it was all calculated fine. This site however, couldn't even calculate their pricing correctly. Then they sent me an invoice over paypal??? Every other site had payment going through their website and not paypal, which gave me errors upon errors trying to pay for the damn invoice. Used three different web browsers AND the app trying to pay the invoice and it didn't go through. Not to mention Meccha Japan was completely unhelpful. Stay away from this headache. Seriously. AmiAmi, GoodSmile, Tokyo Otaku Mode, usagundamstore, gundamplanet, etc. are all better. Don't waste your money and time here.

Have purchased from Meccha multiple times and have had amazing experience. Packages come in a timely manner, packed with a lot of care, prices are reasonable and overall best shopping experience. I will continue to purchase products from Meccha, they are a trustworthy site. 10/10

slow progress of having My parcel dispatched and slow customer service

I purchased the Oguri-Cap Umamusume watch for my boyfriend for Christmas. It came on time, but I had some crazy experience with DHL and the import duties... not Meccha Japan's fault. Customer Service was also quick with their response. I'm only deducting 1 star because the band on the watch is very small, and dainty.. Good for a woman's watch, but not for a man.. The band is not long or thick enough for a man's wrist, so he'll just keep it on display.. I feel a bit cheated that I spent almost $200 usd on a watch he wanted but can't even wear. Options for watch bands would be great

They offer goods at a fair price, never had any damaged product from the countless times i’ve ordered from them. I recommend Meccha to everyone, 10/10.

This is a review to capture all my orders in 2025. The overall communication with the staff at Meccha Japan has been phenomenal! ＼(^^)／ The swiftly figured out and explained all the obstacles with tariffs and customs with full transparency as all the political craziness was happening this year. They have worked with me to ensure the success of my orders don't hurt my wallet too much.
