I came for Gastric Sleeve surgery after no success with NHS Waitlists, I thoroughly researched this hospital amongst others and am so glad I chose Medicana. Yekta has been a fabulous support, answering any and all questions I had and organising a smooth journey. My interpreter Begjan was fabulous and helped me no end throughout my stay!!! The staff nurses, dieticians, cleaners and caterers are first class and my Surgeon Dr. Nasrat was fabulous! I would recommend this hospital to all my friends and family and would happily return in the future should I need to. I cannot thank you all enough for such a positive experience especially as I travelled alone for this surgery, I have been so well cared for and im extremely grateful 🙏

My consultant Yekta, or as I like to refer to him as Hakan The Protector (Netlfix) has been one of the best experiences I have had from Aethetics/Medical tourism. Yekta was so smooth, thorough, detailed, well organized with every step of the process. He was intelligent, most helpful, supportive and above and beyond what I was expecting.

His referral for Dr. Ali Kaan Memiş was the most successful outcome I could have honestly hoped for. Dr. Kaan Memiş is so gifted, talented and skilled when it came to all the procedures he performed, and I can only wish him to be everyone's surgeon at Medicana because of how he is as a person!

I had a BBL, liposuction and 360 body lift in March 2026. I cannot find fault with my experience. My coordinator Yekta was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and he was on hand before and during my visit to answer any questions or concerns I had. My surgeon Dr Ali Kaan was also amazing! He put me at ease straight away and was kind and very knowledgeable. I am DELIGHTED with my results. My room was beautiful. The food, staff and nurses were outstanding. I could not recommend highly enough.

Amazing experience from beginning to End. Yekta was the man who arranged everything for me. I was very scared to go ahead with this surgery but he explained everything and never made me feel pressured. I love that he always made it clear that everything was my choice. The care I have received from.thw moment I arrived here at Medicana is exceptional and all.ataff were very friendly and welcoming. If I am to return to turkey for Any future surgeries I will definitely only use Medicana again. Thank you all so much for everything. Had a great experience at medicana international hospital the service was amazing both from my doctor Op.Dr.Burak who performed my surgery and Rana my interpreter who assisted and was there at evey step of the way still i was discharged and after control as well.

from the moment of walking through the front doors.. it ws everything you seen on facebook. bright lights big flash and everything you thought it would be. the nurses were exceptional and very helping. the doctors surgeons dietician really no there stuff. the place was clean from top too bottom. the whole process was easy fast and efficient. they excepted my 11 month old baby to stay aswel which was the icing on the cake for me. the nurses loved her so much, the day i was being discharged they came in their own time (must of been end of shift) to say goodbye too my baby girl instead of me lol... if i were to do this all again, it would be here. I'd go back for anything medical.

I went to Medicana on 20 Feb to 27 Feb 2026 with a group.
Handsdown the best service I had received from the drs and nurses, my family and I were well looked after, and they put us in a 2 bedroom suite at no extra costs.
I highly recommend everyone to go to Medicana Atakoy, I trusted the process, everything was a success.
I was really suprised with the preop tests, I found out things about my body that I could not get back in NZ, I learnt alot about my internal health. Dont hesistate, book in with them.

I recently traveled to Istanbul for a full medical exam, and I’m honestly so glad I did. The hospital was modern, clean, and very organized. From the moment I arrived, the international patient team made everything smooth scheduling, translation, and guiding me from one test to the next. I completed my breast scan, colonoscopy, and stress test within a couple of days, and the doctors took time to explain my results clearly. The care felt thorough and professional, and the cost was much more affordable than back home. Overall, it was a peaceful and reassuring experience. I also have to mention my translator, she was truly a blessing during this experience. She stayed by my side, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood each step of my medical exam. Having someone there who spoke both languages fluently gave me so much peace and confidence. I never felt confused or alone. She made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and comforting.

Medicinal hospital is a very fine hospital. The facilities are very nice, clean, professional. The stff is also very competent and professional, especially our doctor, Professor Dr. Pinar Seymen. I believe she saved my husband's life. She oversaw his care so well, and he is so much better! When I got
To the hospital, I was frightened and I do not speak Turkish. I was immediately given an interpreter, Heda Akbas,who helped me through the emergency room process and stayed with me with her colleagues, Karen Can and Hekim Habibullah. They were so much help and Hekim went with me to the airport at midnight to get my luggage. The people in administration, with whom I paid the bills for the hospital, Korey Temin and Esra Koca were also wonderful. I especially want
to thank all of the very fine and professional nursing staff on the 8th floor. They were so kind, competent and responsive to every need we had. This is Avery wonderful hospital.

I had an exceptional experience with Medicana, my surgeon Dr Ali Kaan Memis and coordinator Sabrina.
From the warm and friendly staff to their excellent attention to detail, I felt well cared for throughout the entire process. Sabrina was outstanding, always ensuring I was receiving the best care and was comfortable.

I visited Medicana Hospital for a second opinion, referred by my surgeon.

Consultation Experience
- Doctor Consulted: Dr. Mehmet Saleh Bilal
- Feedback:
- As an international patient, I expected a thorough and transparent evaluation.
- My CD angiography reports were not reviewed during the consultation.
- The surgeon verbally suggested a Glenn procedure instead of a double-switching procedure.
- Importantly, he avoided providing written reasons for preferring Glenn, even though the catheterization report showed positive aspects supporting double switching.
- This lack of documentation and explanation reduced confidence in the recommendation.

Staff & Translator Support
- Hospital staff were professional and supportive.
- The translator provided effective assistance, ensuring communication was clear.
- Their efforts were a positive part of the experience.

Cost & Transparency
- The suggested treatment cost was very high.
- Transparency around both the medical reasoning and cost breakdown was limited.

My experience was very good, the person was with me (translator) speaks excellent english and he was very polite. I really thinking come back to Medicana.

I had been looking forward to this trip for quite some time, and the experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. My experience with Kemal at the hospital was seamless; he made us feel comfortable and well cared for while ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the process. The doctor was exceptional—kind, attentive, and truly willing to listen to my goals. She delivered the hair transplant I had been hoping for. The procedure went smoothly, and my recovery is progressing very well. I would highly recommend Medicana to friends and family without hesitation.

Above average care and support. Medicana Hopsital gets my vote for a stream line process. I had a neck lift with Dr Ali Kaan and I am extremely satisfied. The room was spacious and the nurses
