I was initially surprised by how quickly payment was requested. I felt at the time I’d only given basic information and that I might be dealing with a company more interested in £££’s than prescribin... See more

Weight loss injections
After an initial misunderstanding they sorted it out by contacting us and we received our injection within days
A word of advice go through the identification process to the end ,that's what caused the confusion because my Mrs didn't finish the process, but overall they were excellent
Not to be trusted
I didn't even get as far as an appointment. Having read so many bad reviews here, I emailed Medicspot to ask if they could confirm that the GP I would see should I make an appointment could a) prescribe medication, and b) order blood tests if they were necessary. I received no reply to my two emails. Given the ample evidence here, I can see that this isn't a real GP service at all, and rather a scheme to exploit people's inability to secure NHS treatment. It's shocking they are allowed to get away with it.
The most unprofessional and rude Dr I have ever met
I booked an appointment with Medicspot due to work commitments and being due to travel the following day and being in agonising pain for a few days. I simply wanted some antibiotics or painkillers to assist with the pain that I was in. I booked my appointment online and managed to get an appointment that same day.
The dr I spoke to was incredibly rude and dismissive and told me I needed an in-person appointment. I explained that due to work and travel commitments I didn’t have time to attend an in-person appointment which is why I booked through their website. He then scoffed at me, and said “so you have time to go on holiday but don’t have time to go and see a Dr”. At this point I stopped what I was saying and called him out for being rude, seeing as it’s not his place to comment on my personal life. People travel for all sorts of reasons, work, funerals… when did I say I was going on holiday? Why was a Dr I was paying to help me judging me for what I do outside of the appointment?? I was left in floods of tears because despite booking an appointment for help with the pain I was experiencing, I was dismissed and judged instead.
I went through their complaints process and despite not speaking to me at all during the process, apparently it was determined that he was not rude. The organisation is clearly happy to employ Drs who lack basic patient care skills and manners, and I have to say everyone I had to deal with during the complaints procedure is just as rude. Don’t bother booking an appointment, unless you enjoy being spoken down to and judged for your reasons for booking the appointment in the first place!
Completely usless
Completely usless, cant get sick note as cant tell your sick over camera best go see a in person gp”, real nice would like to have known that before i paid. Pointless money grab
use other website which more honest
i have been using many remote private online gp
but this one is worst
1. they don't prescribe more then 2 weeks .
other online gp can prescribe medicine up to 2month~ 4month. but this one only up to 2 weeks . so u have to pay another session after 2 weeks if u need medicine
its 3x . 4x. more 6x times expensive then other online gp in total . avoid avoid avoid
2. for pharmacy. other online gp , u can go boots, u can go other. but this one u go signiture rx but boots they charge for medicine but
signiture rx trying to charge
9.9 for 100mg tablet. also 9.9 for 50mg tablet. and another 9.9 for 25mg tablet
if doctor priscribe 175mg total.(same kind of medicine)
which if u go other online gbp. it would be 9.9 for total 175mg .

My wife took a appointment and transfer…
My wife took a appointment and transfer money also. But they haven't that service and not ready to refund our money..says the reason for booking is private between me and doctor...so please think twice before taking appointment with them.
Waste of time and money
Dr not concerned. Asked me to see own GP - appointment difficult to get - hence.
In that event to call 111 as need to be seen urgently. Asked for a referral letter to private consultant, available today, but couldn't be asked and probably went on to next patient.
Maria what a lovely pharmacist you are…

Never again
The doctor showed on the video very late without apologizing.
I had gastroenteritis with fever for more then 5 days.
The outcome? The doctor said no antibiotics needed, to wait other 3 days taking paracetamol and electrolytes and to go to your real GP if the problem persists.
Never again.
Urgent mental health sick note
I urgently needed a sick note for mental health issues. The GP wouldn't be able to see me for 2 weeks, and I wasn't sure about it being backdated. I came across Medicspot and was able to speak to someone and receive a sick note on the same day. Thank you very much.
Awful service
Awful service. First the doctor didn’t show on the video appointment then a new appointment was rescheduled but only a phone call. The doctor said no antibiotics needed and to go to your real GP if the problem persists. What was the point of paying expensively???
Needed an urgent appointment that I…
Needed an urgent appointment that I couldn't get with my normal GP for at least 3 weeks. Paid £59 to be told to book an appointment with my normal GP to get bloods done.
What is the point in paying that much money for an expedited appointment if they can't provide something as basic as a blood form.
Complete scam
Complete scam, don't waste your money on it. I was waiting for consultation Just to find out that its finished the moment its supposed to start. Charged me £59 for nothing
Scammers
Scammers. When you book your appt, their £29 fee do not work for the first few days. Anyways, I was struggling to get an appt with GP for my son, hence paid £59 to get appointment next day clearly mentioning the symptoms and request for antibiotics. A female doctor asked some questions and told he does not need any antibiotics, paracetamol will be enough or go back to your gp or in an emergency.
What is the point paying this site when the doctors are so stubborn, and have fear to give antibiotics to an adult. As our gp surgery was full, so I had to search for another site for private doctors, and wrote the same request. It was expensive as it was in next half an hour, but the doctor was very knowledgeable, straightaway diagnosed what the problem is, and prescribed antibiotics.
This was my third time bad experience with Medicspot. I am no longer using it, waste of money.
Poor service
Poor service - a contact phone number that only directs you to their website for help . A chat service that’s “away” .Hopeless back office up service .
Waste of time
Couldn't get a GP appointment for my daughter for love nor money, so opted to pay the £59 to get an appointment with this service.
GP Connected late, listened to the symptoms and told us we need to see a GP.
Absolute waste of time and money.
