I’ve had a couple of issues to resolve, through no fault of Medicspot. Both times the issue has been dealt with incredibly quickly and in a thoughtful, considered way. Absolutely awful experience with…
Absolutely awful experience with Medicspot. Their customer service is non-existent! Tried to reach out multiple times about an issue, and either got ignored or received vague, unhelpful responses. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.
I trusted them with something important, and they completely let me down. Save your time, money, and sanity—go elsewhere where you're actually treated like a human being.
Avoid at all costs!

The site kept crashing and I did think…
The site kept crashing and I did think it was a fake site at first but I got to the end eventually.
I ordered late Thursday and my product arrived today. It was well wrapped and the medication cool wrapped.
Great follow up via email and the product was extremely easy to use.

Awful website
I cannot fathom this awful website. How can you be so bad in a tech rich world in 2024.
Completed the form on their website for a “consultation” then had to create an account at the end then click the link in an email, all very simple.
Clicked the link in email and I had to then do the whole consultation again when I logged in 🤦♂️
Then create a user profile where the circle spins and spins and spins then I refresh, you guessed it - complete the whole consultation again.
Then add GP details… you guessed it, spinning circle then… complete whole consultation again.
Then despite me telling them my current dose is 7.5mg during the 27 “consultations” it offers me only the option of buying 2.5mg dose as “recommended” at the end.
Promptly closed the page and went to simple pharmacy and bought the product without issue.
I will never look in your companies direction again.

I'm sorry we've not been able to support your requested dosage option currently, and we are looking to be able to accept patients on a different starting dosage in the new year. I am glad you have been able to source your treatment to continue your weight loss journey, and I hope you consider us in the future should you need to change providers.

Thank you for your review. Our service checks your summary care record information held by your GP, so that we can ensure the medication you have chosen is safe to prescribe to you. We usually complete this digitally through NHS systems, however in your case your records were not made available in this way by your GP practice.
Your medical information should be available to you free of charge from your NHS GP, and is not something they should be charging you for, as it's your information under GDPR laws. We also do not request a full copy of your medical notes, just your summary care record, which your GP receptionist can print or email to you whilst you wait.
I'm sorry for your GP charging you unfairly for your information, and I hope you appreciate why we request this information to ensure your safety as a patient.

Thank you for your review. We do make clear at our checkout and in comms that this is a subscription programme that you are signing up for, and that a rolling 28 day payment will be taken from when you complete your application.
We are not able to take payment in this way without your express permission at the checkout, and you had not informed us previously that you no longer wished to continue your treatment plan with us.
This review was posted at the same time as emailing us your request, and we resolved at 9am the next morning by explaining the above to you, cancelling and refunding your payment. As of yet we have received no response to our email confirming this has taken place.

I bought in October 2024 a first dose…
I bought in October 2024 a first dose of one of their medication, while I appreciate they did the online check medical questionary. The Medication gave me triible side effects and I cancelled the next order. To my amezed and dissapointment after I cancelled they charged me £ 179.00 for medication I did not ordered. I tried to call their head office, but their phone wont take calls is only a voicemail. I have to notify my bank to get my money back. As a pensioner I have to be careful and I consider is back for them to take my money for unrequested medication. SO PLEASE BE Aware.

Thank you for your review - you contacted us on the 19th of November to arrange a cancellation and refund of your programme, which was processed at 10:02am - unfortunately this overlapped with your subscription renewal payment which had been made at 01:11am that morning as well. Whilst this meant two payments had been made, both payments were refunded to you on the same day, and we had a discussion around the detail in the receipts to make sure you had a full set of information. We also discussed time frames that your bank may take to process your funds back to you, which is something outside of our control.
I feel that this was a case of unfortunate timing, and we resolved the two payments and cancelled your subscription within an hour of your request, and I had believed resolved to your satisfaction.

Very efficient but...
Very quick, efficient service with easy to use online facilities. However, despite confirming I was on a regular higher dose of medication Medicspot have only issued a lower dose without explanation.
