1 person on only to answer all calls in Australia talks over me and wouldn’t listen to me as a customer. Doesn’t understand me terrible company if this is how they run it. So hard to get someone to call me back. I will never use them again.

MediPay was great for my first 3 payments now I have money OWING to my dental provider. Because Medipay have not paid the bill I requested. BUT they are very quick to keep taking my monthly payment out.
I am furious as i am in the middle of a very expensive dental treatment $10,000 and and now the money is sitting in an account that i can request payments to my dental provider which DON'T HAPPEN!! Until the money has been released I can not have any more appointments which I understand on the dentist end but so upsetting and painful on my end. Please respond or answers your customer calls medipay.

DO NOT TRUST MEDIPAY! Company great at the beginning - have they gone bust?! Put in a payment request over 2 weeks ago, called and told “a problem on our end, wait another 10 days” still no payment made. No response to multiple emails, Facebook message, live chat. Phoned over 20x but just rings out. Have paid half my surgery and now risk forfeiting this money as the hospital fee isn’t paid and surgery will likely be cancelled if this is not rectified. I will be taking legal action to recoup this money + fees. AVOID.

Advertised as payments made within 48hrs, been waiting over a week now. Difficult to contact and told they’d ring me back with a date for deposit, no call back. Initially great then declined to no customer service at all. Not happy with this company. 29/3/2024, still waiting for reimbursement

High interest of 23.99% and fees on such a small amount of $8k applied.
I applied as a contingency and yet to receive a quote on a procedure. The process of applying is simple however noticed my LinkedIn profile was accessed by the Credit Manager and received a phone call having to confirm a few legitimate bank transactions which I found too intrusive, having access to my bank transactions should be more than enough.
Understand they must undergo a risk assessment to establish an interest rate on individuals however I have no defaults and a good credit history, the interest rate is way too high, you’d be better off using the bank or keep saving. I do have the funds without having to use this loan and I guess the good thing about it is I don’t have to use it if I don’t want to, I was simply implementing a contingency plan.
The problem with applying for credit is you won’t know what interest rate you are offered until having to actually apply which then goes on your credit file and works against you especially if you have applied to a couple of different lenders this reduces your credit worthiness, which is a shame when trying to do your research works against you.
