Absolutely flawless!!

I Sent off my S26 ultra yesterday 11am (special delivery) and I've just been paid!
So thats 3pm the next day and the agreed amount is now in my account.
No quibbles, No trying to knock me down in price for whatever reason, the whole process was completely hassle free!!

I even rang a couple of times for updates, was no problems getting through and staff were friendly and helpful!

All of these recycling company reviews are mixed so I had to take a chance.
Meelie mobile were by far the highest payers and it couldn't of gone any better.

As long as your honest with yourself on the condition of your mobile they'll be completely honest with you it seems.

I was going to go with music magpie because I've always used them but the difference in price was nearly £200 higher.

Would 100% use again and would highly recommend them.

The process for sending the handset was…

The process for sending the handset was very straightforward and easy to understand. A member of the staff explained all procedure and payment to me step-by-step. They were very professional and provided quick updates via email. The payment send it to me was in the same day they received my handset.

If selling consider looking elsewhere

I had purchased a brand new iPhone 17 Pro for a member of my team who ultimately didn’t need it as a result I was looking to sell it and recover some of the funds and Meelie offered a decent price, at least initially. This was a brand new, factory sealed completely untouched, still in the original box iPhone 17 Pro, I sent it off to Meelie under the “New” option listed on their site and thought that would be that, what could possibly go wrong.
I was wrong, the first contact I received from Meelie was pretty poor, especially for a first contact, no probing questions, they immediately said “it was expected to be new, however, the seal appears suspicious.” So straight off the rip I was being accused of opening and re-sealing. Bearing in mind this had never been opened, I cannot be more serious when I tell you this was still completely entirely sealed with the apple seal you see on all boxes. When I shipped this item it was absolutely fine, no tears in the seal or box nothing, it has sat in my office for weeks. They asked my permission to open the box to further review the device but therefore meaning the device would no longer be “new” this is an over £100 reduction in value. At which point I obviously told them to behave themselves and send the item back to me.
I had seen other reviews about unfair changes to offers by Meelie but I thought surely not, this is still sealed how can they dispute it but annoyingly they have and it’s a waste of everyone’s time.
I would urge anyone selling to Meelie please look at other reviews, they absolutely will make up anything to lower the value they initially offer you. Please consider looking elsewhere.

Avoid avoid avoid this company and whatever you do do not use the tracking they offer. My phone went missing and they literally could not care less. Much better companies out there

Avoid such a scam sent galaxy a16 they said would give me £43 pound. The i recieve an e mail saying its a non eu device and if I want it back I have to send the £35!!!!!! Scam!!!!!

First Time Experience

Sold 2 Samsung phones and used this company for the first time.
I was a bit disappointed that they knocked down the price on one of the phones as they said it was marked. I should have taken my own photos of the phones to prove their condition at the point of me packing them up for transit. Anyway and generally, the service was good and speedy overall and I dare say I would use them again when I have other tech to move on. I am now awaiting their payment.

Just another scam

Company offers good prices but then cuts the offer in half for the slightest mark on any surface. My phone was almost perfect apart from a small pit about the size of a grain of sand next to the charging port and they wanted to knock £170 off. Absolute Scam.

Added IMEI number to website

Added IMEI number to website, was told phone ok to sell,

When they receive the phone the same IMEI was asset locked, convenient..

EE have said the phone is not locked, they have never heard of Asset lock, and offered proof of purchase and an agents email address to confirm the device is mine.

Meelie refused to contact, refused to return the phone and refused to send to EE, they have made every excuse in order to keep the device.

Police have been informed of theft.

Do not use this SCAM site.

Sufficient evidence has been supplied, Meelie refuse to send back, terms were not broken, EE have tried to state this and you are ignoring the attempts. 100% theft and will be dealt in that manner.

In terms of Asset Watch, I cannot comment on behalf of EE but this is typically found on new/high value devices purchased subject to payment plans from major network operators or manufacturers.

Meelie Mobile uses a UK-based device intelligence and asset history service, CheckMEND to identify whether a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, or other electronic device has any issues that could affect ownership or resale.

We run this check on all devices we receive and you will have received an email with a certificate number where you can check and verify independently with the team there directly.

As we align with TUFF traders' code of practice, in the event of receiving a device that would be flagged by CheckMEND above, our Ts and Cs, are subject to the following:

The item will be held in quarantine where this must stay until:

28 days have elapsed.

A member of law enforcement has requested collection of the item.

The rightful owner (subject to sufficient evidence of ownership) requests collection of the item.

Once this 28days has elapsed and if none of the above have taken affect you will then have the option to:

You can request to have the device returned, subject to a return handling fee of £35.

Have the item disposed of without compensation.
