Very happy with the new coffee machine. The removable reservoir (where my old one had a lid that lifted up) means I can put it under a shelf in my kitchen despite it being taller than my old one, and the pot does a fantastic job of keeping the coffee warm without reheating. I haven't noticed any great effect of the aroma selector switch on the top, so maybe that's a bit of a gimmick, but I didn't buy it for that so don't mind that it's there.

My last Melitta filter coffee machine lasted for years (probably not enough years though) and this is the same range but with some nice new features. I'll never go back to a glass jug on a hotplate again!

This is a comparatively inexpensive machine. I looked at other more expensive models but decided on this for the Melitta brand. I will be returning this product. It’s easy to set up. I liked the idea of the timer. The digital clock gains 5/6 minutes per 24hrs. That’s a lot of resetting. The coffee is at best, lukewarm so, I use hot milk to taste. When I use the pot to pour, coffee liquid drips from the filter on to the warming plate. Messy. I’ve had this machine a week. I have returned to boiling a kettle and my cafetière. I will be contacting Melitta today.
