Bought direct from Melitta to replace an older (Melitta) model. It produces great tasting coffee and the thermos keeps the brew hot for at least a couple of hous without the need for a hotplate. The timer function works well, but haven't tried the descaling calculator yet! The whole unit has a quality feel about it, with a reasonably small footprint for the kitchen worksurface. One note - you really need to keep the coffee maker permanently connected to the mains, otherwise you will need to reset the in-built clock each time you can use it. Not an issue as the clock display is small, dimmable, and uses virtually no electricity!

Another good quality machine from Melitta. The Therm jug keeps the coffee hot and does not require a hotplate, and so saves electricity. The anti-calc feature tells you when you need to decalcify the machine, which is easily done with Melitta anti-calc tablets dissolved in 500ml of water using the 30 minute decalc procedure that is a simple press of a button. An excellent product.

This is the second Look V Therm machine we have had, the first one lasted about six years before it gave up and stopped, hence we purchased a replacement of the same machine as it is very reliable and easy to use.

I haven't used the clock function yet but the machine is easy to use and makes excellent coffee. The thermal jug keeps the coffee hot longer than a hot plate, which shuts off after 1/2 an hour, and saves energy.
