An important interesting and useful day of training to make sure that I make the most out of using the SDQs with the young people I work with.

Great course, really informative helping children in getting the help they need in specific areas in a school and their mental health.

Excellent course teaching how to analyze and interpret SDQ’s. Gives excellent information on appropriate interventions after scoring and interpreting SDQ’s.
The course is short and packed with information, no time wasted at all.
Highly recommend.

Very informative, plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

I attended the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire training in October 2023. The training was delivered by Marcus professionally, at just the right pace and included everything you need to know. There was an opportunity to fill out an SDQ form with a specific child in mind (no details about the child were given out). I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is unsure about how to use the SDQ form.

The training was informative but, considering it was virtual and no group work was required, we spent a long time introducing ourselves etc. This is ok but, as a really busy SENCo, not the focus needed to complete the training as efficiently as possible.

Marcus gave a very clear, well structured and informative view of why SDQs are valuable, how to carry them out and analyse them and how to inform your practice with their use. He also gave useful insights into Drawing and Talking and how it fits into wider therapeutic practices.

Great training I use the information from it regularly and have now implemented SDQ's in my setting.

Found the course informative, and now going forward I have the knowledge to be more confident in my role. Marcus was just brilliant, thank you.

The training was very good and I now feel confident using SDQs witht he young people I work with

I had used SDQ's in the past but always at the request of an outside agency so had never really understood the full scope of the tool. The training clearly identified the wider uses and how insightful it could be within school generally.

Fantastic training given by Marcus he was very patient and clear with explaining in detail how and what an SDQ is used for. I had already done this training on advanced training and been using it in my private practice within the schools I work in. So having updated training was very useful and beneficial for me.
Thank you Marcus and Drawing and Talking Xxxx

Marcus was really good at explaining the topic and very patient. Some people had not printed out the documents sent to us prior to the training, these were needed to work from during the session. Marcus took the time to explain the questionnaire and went over things again for those that needed it. No question was stupid, I really benefited from the session and thought his training was second to none.

Have thoroughly enjoyed the training I have done with this organisation. The trainers are engaging, well-informed and keen to ensure that participants understand what is being taught. The materials are clear and helpful in enabling us to go forth and apply what we’ve learnt.

Excellent training on the SDQs, as part of the Drawing and Talking process.
Really helped me to understand how best to select the most suitable candidates for Drwaing and Talking intervention and how the pre/post questionnaires are vital to both this and outcome measurement.
I think this training is essential alongside the Drawing and Talking Foundation course.
Also gained valuable background insight and some useful up to date evidence/research into supporting children and young peoples’ behaviour and mental health.
Thank You!

I have just completed online training delivered by MHH. The whole procedure from booking to delivery was well organised . The course itself was run extremely well and was not only informative and helpful but was also engaging, with the opportunity to ask questions throughout . The trainer Marcus Dyke is an expert in this field and was passionate about sharing his wealth of knowledge with all participants. I would thoroughly recommend this training to anyone wishing to learn more about interpreting and understanding strength and difficulty questionnaires.
