Very happy with the garden room, everything was there and customer service were good when I thought I had an issue - all was fine. The instructions on a qr code were so small on your phone in the garden it was annoying! Also nothing was labelled so you had to measure each item in including screws to make sure you had the right ones - so time consuming and frustrating! Delivery driver was super helpful - the disclaimer on the site lacks accountability for getting this delivery to you on the date requested, but in the end, it did turn up exactly as planned.

Very poor quality wood,lots of holes in slats. Three pieces of wood missing. Would have sent it back but for the hassle. Very poor value for money.

No issues with delivery at all.
The building is decent quality apart from the doors that don't fit properly as they are twisted.

Absolutely love my garden bar! It was easy to assemble although we did have to cut down one piece and pad out another but you would never know it to look at it. Delivered on time as promised.

I received an email late the previous evening to delivery stating the product would be delivered between 5.25am-7.25am. I was amazed a company would expect an item to be delivered prior to 7am. Stop expecting your delivery people to work crazy hours and pay for the appropriate amount to be able to deliver between sensible hours.

I’m extremely disappointed with both the quality of the shed and the aftersales service from Robert Dyas.

I paid around £1,300 for a Mercia shed and, for that sort of money, I expected a considerably better quality product. The timber and front sections were poorly aligned, there were knot holes through some of the panels, the plastic glazing was distorted and cheap looking, and the floor felt far too flimsy for a shed at this price point. The assembly instructions also left a lot to be desired.

I ended up having to carry out additional work myself, including remedial work and painting, simply to get the shed looking somewhere near the standard I expected when I bought it.

What made the experience even more frustrating was trying to complain afterwards. The email address I originally used for the purchase was an incoming-only address, so I physically could not send an email from it. Robert Dyas would not properly deal with my complaint because I could not contact them from the exact email address registered on the order.

Despite being able to provide the order details and explain the situation, I was left in the ridiculous position of being unable to pursue my complaint simply because of the email address used when purchasing.

For a purchase of around £1,300, I expected much better from both Mercia and Robert Dyas. The product itself was disappointing, but the lack of a sensible way to resolve the problem afterwards made the whole experience considerably worse.

Based on my experience, I would be very reluctant to buy another shed through Robert Dyas.

The greenhouse is so well put together. The window has an arm to close it, there are 2 bolts top and bottom of the door.
I love, love, love it!
My neighbour has built me a couple of shelves for me to pot up plants, do seeds etc as I’m disabled.

Item is pretty poor quality, even for the price. Gaps don't align so instructions are rendered useless, bits hanging off so needed additional screws/fixings

Shed delivered as described. Well priced easy to assemble.

To say I’m angry is an understatement. The money we paid for the shed is certainly not reflected in the quality of what we’ve received. It’s absolutely not what I expected, and I’m extremely disappointed. If I could upload pictures, I would, because they would show exactly what I mean. I’m honestly not happy at all and feel that the shed is nowhere near the standard we paid for.

Everything has been fantastic from start to finish. The office team were helpful and informative at all times. The delivery driver was great, arrived when he said he would, placed everything carefully and in a safe place. The following day Jason and Derek arrived and worked hard all day in the crazy heat. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A great team! I am absolutely delighted with the end result and cannot thank everyone enough.

The outdoor kitchen itself (purchased via Robert Dyas) is sturdy and was easy to put together. The advised pictures on both the Mercia and Robert Dyas websites show a joined run of stainless steel worktop, which was specifically why we purchased this kitchen over the Zest equivalent.
What you get sent, instead of a kitchen, is 4 individual units (on double, once corner, two singles) all of which has their own part of the worktop, with large gaps between each piece. Having been back and forth with Mercia I was then offered a mere £50 to close my complaint! Hilarious, less than 10% of the value of the full kitchen. Thank goodness I paid on credit card and can therefore utilise that protection. I don't want to return this as there was nothing at all wrong with it, I just want a worktop that fits! Very frustrating!

No delivery issues at all, great guys and came exactly when they said they would.

We bought a summer house which was very poor quality. The finish on many of the cut tongue and groove boards is rough and this means the boards are not in line with each other leading to gaps in the walls. It is going to take a lot of filler and extra time to ensure the structure is wind and waterproof. Many boards have holes where the knots in the wood have fallen out. All in all a very poor quality product which I now wish we had never purchased.

Love my log cabin. Great building and was easy to build.

Bought this summerhouse looks good in pictures but roof trusses are split in 2 instead of one long o piece and very flimsy u shape brackets to hold them together so roof was bowing in middle phoned company and their solution was push wood closer but it wouldn’t go any closer together and we send out new felt but used extra brackets and it still looks a little bowed in centre but rest of summerhouse seems fine

Atrocious
Ordered a playhouse from Argos at a cost of £400 for my daughter’s birthday. Paid to have this installed at a cost to myself. When it was put up there was a massive gap around the door. The diamond pieces were missing and the window crosses really poor quality. Contacted Argos and was sent back to the manufacturer. Initially they said there was no issue. Eventually Argos said they would replace the house for the correct one. The manufacturer then said they would be sending the same specification (poor one) so this was cancelled. I would never have ordered this house had I know it would have a massive gap around the door. I’ve now been sent back to Argos who are equally unhelpful. Avoid if you can
