Love my log cabin. Great building and was easy to build.

Bought this summerhouse looks good in pictures but roof trusses are split in 2 instead of one long o piece and very flimsy u shape brackets to hold them together so roof was bowing in middle phoned company and their solution was push wood closer but it wouldn’t go any closer together and we send out new felt but used extra brackets and it still looks a little bowed in centre but rest of summerhouse seems fine

Atrocious
Ordered a playhouse from Argos at a cost of £400 for my daughter’s birthday. Paid to have this installed at a cost to myself. When it was put up there was a massive gap around the door. The diamond pieces were missing and the window crosses really poor quality. Contacted Argos and was sent back to the manufacturer. Initially they said there was no issue. Eventually Argos said they would replace the house for the correct one. The manufacturer then said they would be sending the same specification (poor one) so this was cancelled. I would never have ordered this house had I know it would have a massive gap around the door. I’ve now been sent back to Argos who are equally unhelpful. Avoid if you can

A lot of the panels on the shed have been split due to the nail gun pressure when the boards have been put on to the frame other than that it’s a really easy shed to put together

I contacted Mercia Garden Products because we moved a garden shed for a friend when she moved. Unfortunately one of the door gliders broke and Steve answered my email. The shed was purchased ten a a half years ago from Global Garden Sheds and Mercia Garden products have now taken over. Steve went above and beyond and managed to find two gliders for us and send them to us which enabled the door to be used again. He was very polite and helpful all through the exchange of emails and taking the time and trouble to identify the shed from photos and some pictures from the instruction book. Thank you Steve.

Very unhelpful when they damage your delivery. I needed some parts replaced but expect you to keep taking multiple photos and trying to send them. Even when there delivery driver has taken photos and told them he’s caused damage. They message you asking what parts you need to your message of the parts you need. List goes on and on

They expect disabled people to keep trying to get photos

The plastic door runners for my Globel metal shed have broken. Luckily Mercia are the agents for Globel and have offered to provide replacements foc. This is great customer service and when I start looking for a summer house/ office I will be considering Mercia first. Thanks Mercia

So much choice,user friendly website. Great quality and price. Ordering and paying was easy. Picking a date for delivery was helpful and the delivery went smoothly. The shed looks lovely now it's built and so much room and so sturdy.

Was ok apart from the floor that cause all the issues as wasn't square and the 3 sections wouldn't butt together correctly causing the walls in 1 corner to be almost 2 inches apart. Luckily I'm it trades so has some 2x2 to hand to make good but needed lots of sealant and a feather edge board. Thankfully this was in a rear corner where it isn't seen. Even with a fully flagged level base though the floor is also very bouncy and feels weak in areas like it going to go through

Excellent product with more than adequate storage space. Delivery was prompt and professional. Easy to put together and the roof felt is a good quality. Highly recommended.

The product was not to standards that I would hoped. The quality of the cuts on the panels were poor, panels had too many knots and holes. It seemed like I was buying a second hand shed.

Excellent Service. Information was sent well in advance of delivery. Delivery portal was updated promptly and driver arrived on time. Unloaded where requested and was friendly and helpful with clear instructions on parts and careful with handling.

They can improve by selling the shed at the size you pay for i brought a 8 by 10 when I got it i measured it it was 7 foot 4 and 9 foot 4 and the quality was disgusting cheap wood i could pick the shed up with one hand never purches again i ordered a shed with no windows as described in your paperwork but I got a shed with windows someone not checking order very well

Delivery driver was very well mannered,polite and helpful nothing was a problem.
Goods arrived in good condition and in good time.
I received a two hour time window and a phone call from the driver half an hour before delivery.
The quality of the timber is excellent and the fixtures and fittings are a high quality also.
The whole experience was second to none and I would highly recommend Mercia Garden products to others.

Spoke to Jackie on customer service today and she couldn’t have been more helpful!! My delivery was due on the 21st August and this lady managed to move it too the 1st August which is a present for husband birthday so I’m absolutely delighted

Helpful friendly delivery driver as for shed poor quality timber some of frames were at least 50mm shorter than the others .the floor is very poor have to put more timber on it to make it strong .The bit I dont understand is doors are 5ft 3in tall but apex is 6ft 11in .So had to make a stand for the hole shed to lift it up as am 5ft 10in not worth the £700 i paid poor quality timber and badly designed buyer beware

The shed was delivered when said which was good.
We are in our late 70s and had arranged for 2 men to erect it for us or we would have returned it when it was unpacked.
The panels were really flimsy and there was between 5 and 9 knots in each panel. Some fell out and had to be stuck in with glue. We can see daylight when inside the shed. You advertised a high quality timber construction in the description which it is not. Also one of the panels was nailed on wrongly and had to be taken off gently in case the thin panel split then nailed back on properly.
The back and sides are rough wood and the doors are smooth and when painted with shed paint looks completely different.
We were not expecting top quality wood for the money we paid but we're really disappointed with the quality and the faults.

The rudest and angriest delivery driver I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. Dismissive, impolite, sullen, unwilling and beyond unhelpful. He did not want to be there, and that much was plain. What should have been a pleasure in receiving my expensive (unchecked) shed (bought from B&Q) today was ruined by him. I've spoken to customer services to raise a formal complaint which MUST be acted upon, as that individual degrades the company & brings it into serious disrepute.

Firstly, the shed base was not delivered on the time /date as advised and had to be re-scheduled.
Secondly, the base measurements do not match those advertised on the website. I appreciate there may be some slight differences here and there, but this was way out.
Thirdly I cannot recommend customer services who appear to treat clients queries / requests as some form imposition.
The final straw in the whole experience was the lack of assembly instructions. There was one sheet of paper displaying a QR code. When scanned this linked to instructions for a complete shed, NOT the shed base supplied. Luckily, I am fairly skilled in DIY projects so I managed to figure things out quickly.
On an environmental note, why supply so many fixings and screws for a simple base? I now have so many screws that it would be sufficient for about a dozen bases. Such a waste of resources when we are supposed to be concious of waste?
Overall, a soul destroying and disappointing experience - one that I will most certainly not be looking to repeat.
2 stars are for the driver who was superb and very helpful. So different to the actual company and product. Nothing to recommend.
