Not Worth the Sale
I only bought a set of Vallejo paints from here because it was on sale, but I regret it now quite a bit. Shipping is a bit expensive because they use FedEx. It cost $9.95 to ship a box that's only a bit over a pound. It came in an envelope, and one corner was torn up along with a whole top edge beat up when I took it out. The paint itself wasn't damaged, but I'm disappointed more over how much I paid in shipping just for the box to arrive damaged like that. The whole cost for the set itself, tax, and shipping would've covered a similar amount for the same set I could've got on Amazon with free shipping.
Poorly Made Products
I have ordered two products over the past year and find their quality to be extremely shoddy. The first item, a mini Dremel tool, overheated within five uses. I had the same model for twenty years and used it often and had no issues until it's useful life ended. The customer service upon return of the item was disorganized. They basically misplaced my return order and had to search for it. The replacement took weeks to get.
So...fast forward to this month when I ordered a mini chop saw. I started to set it up yesterday and noticed that the base looked uneven. I took a screw out and a plastic part was cracked. I bought this because it was on sale, but had to fork over $25 to return it (they don't include free shipping on defective items) thus negating the sale price.
I suspect their products are being manufactured in some Chinese factory with poor product inspection. Unfortunately, these people seem to be the only suppliers of this type of niche product. Just be aware that this stuff isn't made well and you'll be lucky to get one project completed with it.

Absolutely HORRIBLE from start to finish.
I ordered a paint stirrer from Micro-Mark on Monday evening, November 23rd, as the previous one I purchased from them many years ago suddenly stopped working. The next morning I discovered the batteries had simply popped loose; a quick but firm push on them and the stirrer was working again. I immediately contacted Micro-Mark to cancel my order; 30 minutes later I receive an email stating that they had shipped my package. I called them and was told “sorry but once it leaves the warehouse there’s no way to stop it”. I contacted the shipper (FedEx) and they said the order could be stopped and returned to Micro-Mark but they had to call to cancel it. An email to Micro-Mark’s customer service department with this information gets a reply from “Linda, Micro-Mark Customer Service” stating that there was no way to cancel the shipment, which was NOT TRUE; all Micro-Mark had to do was contact FedEx to cancel it – which they refused to do. I immediately contacted my credit card company, explained what happened, disputed the charges and they credited my money back to me. The package never arrived and I have no idea where it is; it’s Micro Mark’s problem now. This entire experience was totally unacceptable. I received absolutely no help whatsoever from Micro-Mark’s LAZY, half-fast so-called "customer service" department; a call from them to FedEx would have taken care of everything immediately – obviously that was too much to ask of Micro-Mark’s so-called “customer service”. I have been a long time customer of Micro-Mark and have bought many great items from them, but after this sorry episode I will never use Micro-Mark again. As they say, buyer beware!

If you did not put the charge thru because you don't have product, then their would be no issues with me, my bank or anybody else. Why don't you listen. DON'T CHARGE IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCT.

No Refund for me apparently.
Worst customer service. I purchased 3 paint brushes, I ordered the wrong size (micro brushes). I called them and they told me to send the brushes back. I paid, my mistake and I was fine with that. This was at the end of February and I have yet to receive my refund. A month ago she told me they were behind because of the pandemic. A week ago I received a message telling me yes because of the pandemic they are short staffed. Okay, so where’s the refund?***UPDATE- Nice try but I just saw you emailed me this morning (5-5-20)with my refund, so no, you did not refund me back in April.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service! My mini-jigsaw has a very tiny screw that fell out and I could not find it (working over gravel on a windy day). It isn't a easily replaceable size. They sent me a replacement with no charge. This is customer service. I have a similar issue with another product/supplier and they'll sell me the replacement part for a very low price, but want $15 to ship it! That is not customer service. Thank you Micro-Mark for understanding your products AND your customers!

Shipping Charges TOO High
When did shipping charges become a function of price rather than size, weight and distance? I would like to order but I don't want to pay the ridiculous shipping charge.

Creeper. Don't waste your money if you are looking for anything other than a roll around platform to use on hard surface only and want to have your head inclined about 4 inches. Made of particle board, so if you put pressure on an awkward point, it can break on you. Hinge point is fabric, not a metal hinge. Release lever for up and down can be knocked by accident and you will go flat in a heartbeat. Most of their products are great, but this one just isn't.

I have purchased a self-centering vice from Micro Mark. The vice is very good quality and well made in the USA. The finish and operation is precise and true. The vice was packaged well and protected in transport. The USA dollars price for the excellent quality is very reasonable, but with currency exchange to Australian dollars and with the shipping charges for a heavy item from USA to Australia, it was quite expensive. Micro Mark have great products and service and I would like to buy more from them, except for the exchange and shipping rates to Australia.
