"the worst thing we've ever bought" and no customer service
To quote my wife "this is the worst thing we've ever bought".
I have never left a one star review before but I have sent Midas 3 emails, left two voicemails and tried to call countless times since receiving this bed and no one will offer me any solutions. One person called me back and promised someone else would call me to make it good but no one ever did. I hope this review prevents anyone else making a mistake with this company. Mistakes happen but it's how you deal with them and this lot aren't dealing with them.
I bought a bed from Midas, one of the more expensive ones in their range, and a headboard to go with it.
Delivery was absolutely fine and relatively prompt. The team put it into the room without issue and the packaging was solid.
The bed looked fine and the headboard looks quite nice.
However:
1) the metal holes for the gliders were full of wood so they couldn't be inserted.
2) one of the drawers doesn't open regardless of effort and prying. It's completely stuck. Still is, I have no idea what to do there.
3) there are no instructions at all, not even a courtesy piece of paper.
4) it's not clear where the headboard screws go into the bed at all so you're presumabt expected to make a hole in the fabric of your brand new bed to hopefully find the nut.
5) the headboard was missing half the screws and washers. We needed four and only had two of each
6) the headboard prop is the wrong width for the nuts so doesn't go on smoothly at all
7) once the feet are on the headboard prop is too short for the bed so it's got nothing taking the pressure at the bottom. It looks and feels like it's a matter of time before it breaks
8) I paid for the heavy duty bed as my mattress alone is close to 100kg and it does not feel heavy duty at all. It's just a cheap divan frame.
Avoid this company.
Edit: I see Midas have replied asking me to email. I have. I also added my order details here before they replied. How many customers have this experience that they can't tell who I am?

Delivery guys were great
I had booked for my old bed to be taken away however did not realise I had to dismantle the ottoman base. The 2 delivery guys were brilliant and did it for me which I was so thankful for. I was kept informed of updates regarding delivery and was able to select a convenient delivery slot. I also made a mistake when placing my order and ordered a double bed but a single headboard. The error was picked up quickly and i was able to correct it easily. i would definitely use again.

I’m sorry to say they just want your money, no quality!!
I’m sorry to say, very disappointed! My bed arrived, Divan with 4 drawers. No instructions but I put it together. On completion I cannot open any of the four drawers and one is broken! I sent a messaged the company on the same day to ask how they would resolve this, I have had no reply! Do not use this company!!

Excellent order and delivery process
When I ordered the bed I had a confirmation email with information about delivery ie 2 man team and the timescale. A week later I had a phone call from the delivery chap telling me a day and time slot followed by another confirmation email.I also had a phone call on the day that they delivered. Turn around from order to delivery was about 8 days with email and phone call updates, very impressed with the communication updates.
The divan itself is just what I wanted, it is sturdy and with great storage.
Given this experience, I would definitely order from this company again.

PROMPT DELIVERY, COMFORTABLE BED
Remarkably quick delivery for a bespoke product. Assembly of the Ottoman a little tricky for one until the gas struts are in place. You could put a video of this on your website. The finished bed is (so far) much more comfortable than it predecessor. Can anyone tell me the purpose of the eight wooden cubes with holes through them? Nonetheless, fine service from friendly people and recommended.

Regarding the wooden blocks, these are designed to be fitted between the base and the headboard to create a small gap. This allows the Ottoman lid to open and close freely without coming into contact with the headboard.

Ordered still not received and lied to about the status
We ordered from this company a bed 8 days ago now. Delivery was meant to be 3-7 days from ordering but so far we've received nothing. When I click on track order the status is still the same saying its preparing for delivery which its been on since ordering. I've sent an email which took 2 days to get a reply saying the couriers were picking it up from them to deliver it within 48 hours but it's now been 36 hours and we've had zero contact and the tracking still still says preparing for dispatch. We're not impressed that we've had to wait this long as the bed as my mum has now been without a bed in her new house and the fact we've been lied to in an email. Please can someone look into this and resolve this as soon as possible thank you. Since leaving this review I received a message saying my order was being delivered. I waited in all afternoon for it to then receive a call saying it wasn't being delivered after all. We would like a full refund on this order as its now been 10 days and we've received nothing and we need to order one from a more reliable company.

Great product at a very competitive price.
Communications from the store regarding updates and delivery times were 1st class.
Delivery was good by placing the bed into the room of choice, but it was left to us to unpack it, assemble it and get rid of all of the waste packaging.
So, apart from the very final part of the delivery, everything else was fantastic and I would definitely recommend Midas and use this company again.
