I share the recent reviews that something fishy is going on. I too was a victim of non-delivery of order placed in August. When I asked about updates to my delivery date they just kept saying that it would be in the next week but they couldn't give me a fixed date. They promised a refund but wouldn't put it in writing. I contacted my bank who promised to process a refund and I was lucky to get my full money back.

Placed my order from livsupplies and it was delivered the next day!

I hope everyone gets their refunds and the directors, etc. of Midland Plastics go to jail for all this fraud.

This company is a complete scam Michaela took my order and payment on 25th August 2016. 2 weeks passed and I heard nothing. When I queried Michaela about the order she stated there was no record of the order even though the money had been taken. She finally found the order and a week later I received part of my order and some acrylic the completely wrong colour. When I questioned this Lucy asked for a photo which I provided and I was told by her the rest of my order would arrive next week along with replacements for the incorrect colour acrylic supplied. None of this arrived and I'm now out of pocket. The phone line is dead, website shut down and facebook page removed. It's disgusting how they can take all these people's money and fold the business. I will defiantly be taking this matter further, and seeking a refund.

Ordered plastic sheeting on 7th Sept 16 and nothing heard since. They do not reply to e mails and the phone line is down. I will be reporting them to the police and Trading Standards. I checked with my bank and they have taken my money. Having checked trust pilot I now realise why.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Ordered some panels on 13th of September and decided to give them a ring today to chase up with the delivery... phone line is dead website is down and I seem to be one of very many financially stitched up customers. Luckily paid with credit card so money not lost. They should be prosecuted for actions like this although the owner is probably having some fun in Maldives or so by now...

i ordered on the 12th September and not heard anything since. tried to contact them number is dead.

You can claim your money back from Paypal or do a Visa Dispute with your card provider.

I ordered some plastic sheeting from them on 25th August.
I actually went in to the premises as a live nearby.
The office staff took my order and said I could collect in a week.
I phoned when i hadn't heard and was told it would be another few days. When I phoned this morning the line was dead and the website down.
What concerns me, apart from losing my money is that they were continuing to take people's money when they had no intention of supplying the goods. I have reported them to trading standards.

I have ordered the policarbonate roof from that company 07th of September. The goods not arrived yet. It seems like the company is closed down. No phone answers , no email respond. Have some one tried to visit them. Are they closed? I have pay for goods £950 over they website using debit card. If they closed, how to get my money back?
I need to order another materials to finish the job.

From the look of things Midland Plastics has disappeared, the web site was up on the 9th September when I placed the order ( I had used them before and everything was efficient and on time) so used them again, however I cant contact them by any means, the website address is still listed but no content and the phone number is out of service. It would also appear from other reviews many people are having the same problem. I have raised a dispute with Paypal.

ordered 6 September told delivery 16 September paid £392.50 tried ringing them phones disconnected web page disconnected a load crooks got intouch with our bank cant do anything for 15days but the tossers have got our money not happy

I agree with others . It appears they have taken our money and not delivered the goods. I cancelled the order , but they now have disappeared from public view, no phone, If you paid by Paypal you can claim for refund through them. They will do the chasing and if Midland have gone under ,you will still get refund. ( at least thats what they say?)

Well Paypal did what they said they would do. To the letter. Refund after 10 days.

Ordered 23rd August, no delivery no refund, How do some people sleep at night. The office girl Micheala is a liar and a fraud.

Looks like this company no longer exists phone number, website even the Facebook page has disappeared. Did a little digging looks like the company was changed to a Dormant company back in April which means "A dormant company is one that has been registered with Companies House but is not carrying on any kind of business activity or receiving any form of income." essentially they have been gone from the tax mans eyes since April but have continued to trade illegally and have either been caught or more likely have finally skipped town. Hope this helps some people on this site get money back.

I had ordered polycarbonate sheets from Midland Plastics. Got confirmation that it will be delivered within 9 days. Contacted them on the 5th day to confirm again and I was told it will be delivered on 23rd. No delivery, I was told they had issues with the courier and they will deliver next day. I asked them if they could definitely deliver or I could cancel the order and re-order from another store offering 48 hrs delivery. The lady replied that it would definitely be sent next day. No delivery..When I called up, I was told that the courier did not have a vehicle to transport the one of the sheets as it was too long and it would be delivered after a week. When I complained that the builder was going to start the work and I will lose money, instead of being sorry, the manager just said it was my problem. I should not have started the work before the goods were delivered. They had 10 days to deliver ( their site says 4-9 days delivery) and they had even confirmed the date. And I lost 180 GBP as I had to order the stuff from another store at a premium rate for next day delivery. My advice to anyone would be to stay clear off this company. And I got my money back after I complained to Paypal. Appalling!

i ordered on the 31 8 2016 money taken next day , 4to 9 days delivery , no sign of order, no communication, no one answers phone . Have I been scammed? John Davies

I do believe they have gone bust....
Website now down, no answer on the phones or response via email.
Lost my money - Thank you very much you conniving bunch of crooks taking my money on 15th August knowing you were going out of business!

I ordered my sheet of Perspex on 16th August it is now 13th September and I am still waiting for my sheet of Perspex. I have had to ring every week sometimes more than once to be told different days that it is supposedly coming on but it never arrives, that is of course when you can actually get someone to answer the phone. So much for their 4-9 working day delivery. I think they should change it to months.

placed my order on 24th aug, its now the 9th september and still nothing.......
I have managed to contact them to find the order hasn't even been sent yet!
they will supposedly send it out on Monday with a 2 day expected delivery as the company they use cannot do next day which i think is totally unacceptable considering the delay and the fact they seem to have overlooked my order.

I have had no contact since they took my money and every time I call up they disappear for a few mins presumably to try and find my order.

Overall not at all happy and i wont hold my breath to get it next week....

If you are wanting your goods in a decent timescale I would recommend you go elsewhere.

I ordered some stuff online on 12 August which was fine then realised I had got a measurement wrong. Sent an email which was dealt with efficiently.
Thought yeah great company. Then!!!!!
After approx 6 days I chased up my order they said it would be delivered on 24 / 25 August so I ended up taking 2 days off work to receive the delivery. When it didn't turn up I called. After a while I was told that the stuff had been damaged by the courier and that a new order was being cut. This was for a customer so he was getting a little irate. I was told it would be re cut and delivered that week, so come the Wed I called just to check it was being processed, I was told it was and that it was out for delivery on the Friday.
I took another day off work. I left it until 3.30pm, called the company who said it was dispatched and would be with me between 4pm and 5.30pm. It did not arrive. On the Monday I called to see why I hadn't got it but just ended up cancelling the order as the person on the other end couldn't tell me why.
Your Money will be in the bank in 2 days she said. No Money called them up. Don't know why it hasn't gone through. I just told them to get it done today as I am lodging a complaint with trading standards if it isn't done. I now wait with baited breath.
Since all this started I have lost 3 days wages, Lost my customer, Lost money on the job I was doing and more trade as I will have a bad name from him.
Never in my life have I had to deal with anything like this. The company blame their couriers for everything. If their that bad, change them.
Rest assured I will not use this company again and as a business company, they have lost a lot of trade, back to the last company I used. I'd rather pay a bit more and get a professional service, this was dire. Not to mention, their communication is none existent, you have to chase them for everything.

This is an edit. Approx 30 minutes after my last call. I have received my refund. Why couldn't this be done before without all the hassle? Thanks for giving me my money back.

placed an order and never received it even after emails and phone calls and then was told they would re send out replacements and still never got them after being told many times it will be with you on such a date and after a month later i asked for a refund and still had to do all the work to get the refund from them .

so if you want to get some polycarbonate sheets DONT BUY FROM HERE !!!!!
