We chose Miles &Barr to sell our two flats in Margate because they had taken over Oakwood homes whom we had previously used in the past.

Thankfully the person allocated to sell our properties and get us forward to buy a new home was Louise Daly.

Oh my word what a determined, approachable and 100% dedicated person she is.

This is the second property sale Louise has helped me with (helped is really an understatement of all the hard work she actually put in to get me over the finish line).

From start to a very long finish Louise went above and beyond in giving me reassurance through a very tricky and frustrating process.

Louise genuinely cares and is dedicated in keeping everyone in the chain notified and together on the same page.

Louise is prompt to answer all calls and emails so I never was left wondering how the sale was developing, a hundred times quicker than my solicitor which made me count on her more than my conveyancer.

When I had delay issues with the Management Company and Free Holder Louise didn't think twice in picking up the phone and calling them directly to speed them up. Which I found both mine and the buyers solicitor's lacked urgency.

If I was on a ship sailing into the unknown I would want Louise to captain that ship. In all honesty her professionalism, reliability, dedication, efficiency, communication skills, proactive approach, genuine care and support and the love she puts into her job Louise should and could captain a whole fleet of ships.

Louise what can I say you guided me through a long and difficult process, a process that on many occasions I thought would fall by the roadside. You kept me calm and more important you kept the chain ahead of me calm.

Louise Daly was really helpful and supportive. She was a brilliant liaison between both sets of conveyancers and kept the process moving.
If it wasn’t for Louise I’m sure the sale would have fallen through and her patience and persistence to chase both conveyancers on behalf of me and the buyer was instrumental in this completion. She was very professional at all times and always positive, polite and helpful.

I dealt with Miles & Barr Margate as a buyer. Agents were attentive and friendly in booking and carrying out viewings which lead to a flat purchase. My sales progression was handled by Louise who I felt went above and beyond. She emailed/called with updates, and chased the necessary persons before I had a chance to ask. Any time I did have a query she always answered the phone, dealt with it swiftly and always followed up. A stressful buying process (through external factors) made easier by a fantastic employee.

This was the first time I've had a dedicated sales progressor, and I was genuinely impressed by the difference it made. Emily kept in regular contact, chased both solicitors, provided weekly updates and always let me know exactly where the transaction stood.

Having someone proactively managing the communication took a huge amount of stress away and made the whole transaction feel much smoother.

Raised the issue of getting a new EPC done with the property manager, setting out our rationale and asking for her thoughts on the matter. She replied promptly and gave her recommendation in clear terms.
She offered to get an EPC assessor lined up if we didn't have anyone we wished to approach ourselves to do the necessary. We happily accepted her offer.
