Relatively early days in my relationship with M&B (after the transition from Regal Lettings ) but in my dealings with them so far, they have been very professional and efficient.

My house went on the market in Sept. 2025 and sold within a week. The marketing pictures of the house were very good. Whenever I liaised with Miles & Barr, the staff were friendly and professional. After the ‘sold’ sign went up, I was contacted by the Sales Progressor, Emily. She contacted me weekly to update me as to how things were going, any delays and to advise me on anything I might need to. I found this relationship very worthwhile. Overall, it has been a positive experience apart from the length of time the process took(6 months) due to unavoidable issues outside of Miles & Barr. I was told the process could take 12- 20 weeks, which I appreciated.

I bought my first home this year through Miles & Barr and, if I’m honest, I felt quite overwhelmed by the whole process at the start.
I needed guidance and patience, and the Margate branch was excellent from the very first enquiry call. The sales team listened, understood, and took the time to have 1–1 conversations with me. I was invited to their offices as I found online administration a little difficult, they helped me organise my paperwork, explaining what would happen next, and offered reassurance. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
Once my offer was accepted, Louise Daly stepped in on sales progression — and this is where the strength of the Miles & Barr system really came into its own.
Since 18 December, Louise has been involved in over 88 emails across the chain. She was consistently friendly and professional, kept communication clear, and was always completely on it. When I was promised a call from her, it came — I found her integrity outstanding.
This wasn't just a big name business getting a sale over the line — this was Louise and her team doing things properly and supporting everyone through what can be a very pressured experience. That included both myself and thoughtful consideration for the seller, with multiple visits arranged during the paperwork stage.

We recently bought a flat through Miles and Barr and were disappointed by the service they offered. The person who showed us around multiple viewings knew nothing at all about the properties and couldn't answer any questions. When we did find a property we wanted to buy the Sales Progressor (our contact point during the purchase process) was very disengaged. She was rarely proactive, slow to respond to our calls and never seemed to actually listen to our concerns. The whole purchase was painfully slow and although some of this was due to delays with solicitors, we never felt that the Miles and Barr staff did anything to help facilitate the process.

Milles and Barr took advantage on me and ask me to sign the contract in office because they have no time to come to my office....once I done as a favour to come to them and do it they did not explain to me on any stage that if you sign in office you loose right to cancel contract within 14 days...when I tried to cancel contract as I found dream house somewhere else they did not want to cancel and thread me to charge their fees...so lost opportunity to byuy dream house...keep away from this scammer!!!
