Oliver Cashman should be ashamed of…
Oliver Cashman should be ashamed of himself! In 2017 I engaged with Milners, unfortunately due to trading conditions the limited company I was a director of was struck off owing circa £280 to Milners.
This week I received a demand for payment for the unpaid invoice. I emailed Oliver and informed him the company was no longer trading and despite having no legal requirement, I offered to pay a propotion of the bill as a “no hard feelings payment”. Oliver Cashman From Milners attempted to negotiate - failing this he proceeded to threaten me with a general director disqualification and to bring in an insolvency practitioner to review my case. After informing him of certain legalities, all of which mean he has no legal basis to continue to chase me for this 2017 debt - his attitude changed and he become very arrogant, threatening and confrontational - to the point he endorsed “meeting up and sorting it out like men”.
Since when is it common practice for solicitors to cause people alarm and distress on a Sunday, and advocate violence.
His most recent email has threatened me with a defamation - I will not be bullied and defamation only counts if what I type is not true. Oliver Cashman of Milners you should be ashamed of yourself.
