The best decision that I made at the start of embarking on my journey to find my new little home was to contact Mindful Mortgages. I already knew Sam as a friend from working with her at David Lloyd back in the day. From my initial phone call with Sam & reminiscing on some fond memories and then receiving a call from Donna to advise that I was her new client, I felt in absolute safe hands.

My Journey was want of a better word rather rocky at times, there were tears, anxieties, uncertainties and laughter and Donna was always there to advise and support in every single way. I honestly do not think I could of gone through this process without her. You are an absolute credit to Mindful Donna and I know I have verbally said thank you a thousand times, but her it is in black and white! Thank you my love xxxx

I was and still am very happy with the service i recieved. My advisor was very friendly and helped me every step of the way.

I had a lot of trouble with my solitors and vicki helped alot with fighting my corner and getting updates i needed. Even after i had payed in full for her services she is still helping with ongoing matters that have not been resloved yet.

I would recommend mindful 100% and i myself will be using them again in the future wether it be moving house or just remortgaging.

Vicki was so amazing from the start. At first we discussed my financial position and different options then she helped my partner & I buy our first home together. It took such a long time for the house sale to go through (6 months) and was very stressful but Vicki was the one stable element to it all. Clear, straight-forward, amazing communication, always happy to help. I asked probably far too many questions and Vicki answered them all for me and was happy to do so.

My partner and I just bought our first home and working with Mindful Mortgages made the process as stress-free as it could be! I was nervous in the beginning as I am self-employed and we also ended up trying to buy a house during the pandemic, which made it extra tense! Sam and Jon were with us every step of the way and were always happy to answer our (many!) questions and make sure we felt supported. They explained things really well and had a great system for us to send and receive documents through, so it was all smooth and easy to navigate. Sam and Jon are super professional but also extremely kind and friendly - they really take the worry out of buying a house. My partner and I decided to buy a property just before the pandemic hit the UK in February. We spoke to Vicki at Mindful Mortgages about our intentions and what a god send she was!
Things got tricky as my partner is self employed, however she remained calm and patient and offered her expertise in a very professional way.
Due to the lockdown, things got more complicated as did our situation with the vendors and lenders.
Vicki was there by our side every step of the way giving us advice when needed. She is highly knowledgeable and listens to your needs. At one point we almost gave up on our dream but Vicki didn't! She led us confidently and in the most pleasant way. She was never pushy nor in a rush to complete the sale for her benefit. All along the way she put our needs and interests first. We celebrated our first Christmas in our new home and its perfect!

I’m not really one for writing reviews, but this one is not only important to me but also I want people to know what an amazing job Vicki at mindful mortgages has done.

Myself and my partner decided that it was time for us to step on to the property ladder (during Covid-19 of all time’s) and move away from rented accommodation. Not having any clue what to do in regards to buying a house, we went and viewed our now home and fell in love. Now here comes the hard part, we made an offer that was accepted, we needed to push on with a mortgage, however we was hit with bad news, the U.K. was in lockdown and Lenders pulled the plug on 10% deposit. This was a huge knock back for us as we were first time buyers and could only afford the 10% deposit. Feeling lost and stuck for help. I put a post on “all thing whetstone, Leicester” for a mortgage advisor and one name was repeatedly mentioned “mindful mortgages” and obviously I had to make contact to see if they could help. That’s when we spoke to Vicki and from the off she was amazing, she understood our circumstances and knew that what we needed would be a challenge but she was completely committed to helping.
Not only did Vicki work on her days of but also made time out from her evening to answer all our questions, Zoom calls and text messages. Doing this all during working from home and looking after her own family. The day Vicki secured our mortgage was also her day off. It was 8.10am when Vicki called to give us the news and I still think she was more excited than we was. Vicki has been brilliant every step of the way. She made everything easy, from using their online portal to communications with third party’s.
I cannot stress this enough, if you are moving home and need a mortgage advisor, give Vicki at mindful mortgage a call.

Sam and Jon went above and beyond everything we needed for our property purchase and were with us every step of the way. Even through lockdown they were 100% supportive and were on the end of the phone to help us with various hurdles that arose. They even supported us post-completion with some extra paperwork, and gave great advice on income protection insurance which is super-relevant in these uncertain times. 11/10 would use again and recommend to everyone I know!
