It started out well...

It started out well with a clean friendly interface and easy customization for choosing what you wanted to mine and the resources you wanted to apply with multiple gpu's to something you now have no control over and so many errors, crashes, etc...
It's in my opinion garbage-ware now. You get fined when you have multiple errors (almost willing to bet the errors are on purpose and they pocket the change), that according to Minergate is caused by "YOU" trying to scam they system /rich...or faulty software..kinda funny its their software you're running.
Saying things you noticed will get you banned from chat.
Considering its peoples money, the errors, and total lack of response to fixing things.I would not recommend investing time or money in it.

Totally fast payout

Totally fast payout and less (very less!) downs.

I use MinerGate Pool since April now and so far I know my Hashrates are okay, I do not have multi-rig GPU Miner or 32 cores CPU but I think it's something.

MinerGate offers fast payout (within 1 min!).

Stratum Server always down! - I'd switch if I have received my payout.

Be cautious of using minergate

I've been using minergate for over a year I started out with them to try and learn a little more about cryptocurrencies eventually I ended up paying for cloud mining on bitcoin I did this in August of 2018 last month they closed my contract and when I asked them what happened they said that there was no money to pay for the maintenance fees even though last month Bitcoin was at an all-time high for the year and had gone up in value to me that just screams scam all the way how can a company sit there and say that there is not enough money being produced for the maintenance cost even though the value of Bitcoin went up I am so glad that I was smart and did not invest a whole lot of money and only what I was willing to lose which I did if you plan on using minergate don't give them your money use them for what they are talk to people there that have been mining for a long time and learn from their experience that is the only value that minergate brings to the cryptocurrency community

Scam, Minergate did not respond to users about CloudMining and deleted Cloudmining from the site. They stole hundreds of millions of dollars from investors. Report them

Sven Scholten, I am not the shagrath you are looking for.

Sven Scholten,

I am FrontTowardsEnemy, and trust me I am not Shagrath. Shagrath has been Shagrath since I joined minergate. I change my nickname every once in a while, but we are not the same person. He is in Italy, and can speak like a dozen languages. I am an American, and can barely do the English thing properly. I heavily invested in MG cloud, simply re-investing mining earnings in XMR and then BTC. And those contracts paid pretty well, until about 3 months or so ago. And these past 2-3 weeks they are barely holding value. I fully expect them to terminate soon. I have bought cloud from Hashflare, Hashing24, and 4 others that I will not mention because they were scams. Even high and mighty minergate mods fall for scams. Hashflare and Hashing24 both canceled my contracts a long time ago, so on cloud, at least for now I have my MG cloud contracts still. The pools are struggling, and like Shagrath I have been vocal in the mod rooms about the downward trajectory, but after a while I gave up bringing it up, it seemed a waste of time. Last year I would have given MG 4 stars, but it is not last year.

True, long time customer review.

Poor customer service. Explanations are basic bypasses of the actual posed question. Each social media platform has a grossly amount of customers begging for answers as to where their monies are. Yet, minergate has now changed their responses to they are not just cloud mining. Stepping away from the actual issue of refunding customers monies. Now, their focus is bringing in new clients with EOS. Seems history repeats itself with Minergate. Keeping customers happy until it's no longer profitable and dust them, repeat again. Be careful of the few that boast about their recent earnings via Minergate. These are their current employees and or family members. Do your homework and research forums, review sites and most of all social media platform sites. Take articles with a grain of salt as these are opinions easily swayed by a buck.

Something totally wrong on communication

I'm mining here since few years now and I noticed a gradual increase of issues starting in the second half of 2018.
- AEON and XDN pool messed up coz Minergate staff did not follow their forks in time resulting in aeon pool now active but cannot withdraw since more than 7 months and xdn completely blocked.
- without any advice, from a day to another miners were forced to use freewallet instead of being able to withdraw their legit mined coins where they like (a serious approach should be to give infos of the change and give at least 1 month to ppl to accept it or leave Minergate).
- Misleading and outdated FAQ
- No legal infos or GDPR infos

Lately a lot of chaos came out because of Cloud contracts:
- No info when was shut down the possibility to buy new cloud contracts
- No info about the latest days low rewards
And that's is really disappointing, especially for the ones who invested big money and DESERVE to know what is happening with their investment.

I'd like to reply to @Sven Scholten's review who copy/pasted part of discussions on minergate chat channel completely misunderstanding all the points:
1. The first part the guy you mentioned continuosly and repeatedly asked for info about Cloud while NOONE in chat can answer and i pointed him to the right direction that is:
- open ticket to support AND ask same questions in all minergate social pages (like Twitter) in order to have visibility
- complaining on minergate chat is pointless as noone has info there (neither mods) and continuosly asking that on channel leads just to be boring (is just wrong place as don't have visibility, the chat is for the ones already signed).
2. The second part i was joking with a real Staff person asking if i might be banned on discord mod-room + minergate chat coz i'm often very critical about minergate.

FYI, moderators are NOT Minergate staff, not paid by Minergate:
I am just a miner with bit of knowledge for trying to help ppl who have issues on mining.

EDIT FOR @Sven Scholten second update (again misunderstand it all):
I have not banned that guy, and u pasted half of the speech after my ban advice there was a ':P' coz i was joking with him.
You clearly have not understood that mods are not paid or related to minergate staff, but that's the reality, open a ticket to support asking for further informations. and the talk from me and @Flavia regarded ME, i asked if i got a multiple banning reward on minergate chat + discord chat (so u double failed...).

If it's possible for you, try to join the chat (and read it) when i'm online, coz replying here to you is pretty ridiculous...

@Sven Scholten you are still updating your review here with misleading informations. I have not changed my nick, i'm always shagrath on minergate chat. FrontTowardEnemy is another mod! you fool...
