There are 3 main reasons for getting screened out:

• Not part of the target group - Every survey has one or multiple specific target groups. If you are not part of these, the survey will be ended early. We preselect surveys according to your profile, so please make sure to keep your profile surveys complete and up to date.
• Max. number of participants reached - Every survey has a set number of participants. If this has already been reached when you're accessing the survey, you can not take part anymore.
• Quality checks - Most surveys include some kind of quality checks, including e.g. control questions or time checks. If you fail one or more quality checks, you will be screened out without a reward.

If you are getting screened out, the reason for it usually is displayed in the screenout message. If you are unsure about the reason of a screenout, you can always contact our support via the contact form in your account.

We understand the frustration in getting screened out often, but we ask for your understanding that we don't have direct influence on this. We use the info that is available to us through your profile surveys to send you surveys, so please make sure that your profile is up to date and completely filled out. Please note that not every topic can be covered by these profile surveys, so sometimes it might be necessary for surveys to ask further topic-specific questions to check if you are actually part of the target group. Please also keep in mind that every survey has a set number of participants - if this has already been reached at the point of your participation you are also unable to move on with the survey.

Please make sure to keep your profile up to date, as we use this information to send you surveys. If we reworked some parts of our profile surveys since you last completed them, they might now be incomplete, leading to a less precise prescreening and thus more screenouts. In any case, screenshouts should only happen within the first 2-3 minutes of a survey. If you are getting screened out later than that please contact our support via the contact form in your account. They will be happy to investigate the case and reimburse you for your time.

Please note that special projects like the 10 day survey you have mentioned are usually credited after the project has ended, around 2-3 weeks after participation. If the project in question was longer than 3 weeks ago, please also refer to our support to check the current status.

While some surveys may ask for more in-depth information to check if you're part of the target group (e.g. if the topic of the survey is not covered by our profile surveys, meaning we can only do a rough pre-selection), it should never take more than 2-3 minutes. If this is not the case, plase make sure to contact our support via the contact form in your account, so the issue can be checked and you can be reimbursed. While occasional screenouts are normal, they should only happen within the first 2-3 minutes of a survey. If you are screened out later, please contact our support via the contact form in your account, so that the issue can be investigated and you can get reimbursed.
