excellent service

Very pleased with the whole experience as this was my first online booking with minicabster.. Plenty of cab choices & prices ... (The most expensive are not always the best ). I chose the nearest cab office with a very competitive fixed rate airport price ( eskkey cars Kennington-hat wick £46) the service was perfect, pre pick-up sms the car had Ben dispatched with full details drivers name & car ref / make / model .. Arrived early and waited as we received SMS that the car was here .. Very clean car & a very polite & helpful driver ... Excellent service ..

Booming? What booking?

After booking online a cab to pick us up at 3am from central London I thought I was getting a decent price to go back to where I live. Unfortunately when it came to getting the cab a phone call to the number I was provided with was to a company with a different name who explained they had stopped using Minicabster last year and had no record of our booking. Being 3am and 50 miles from home you can imagine my 7 friends and I were pretty worried about how we were getting home. The journey ended up costing us 50% more than we had originally planned for and arrives over 2 hours than we needed to be there for. I'm just glad we chose to pay the driver in cash and not pay up front by card.

Poor

Booked through this site two days before required pick up. Received conformation emails of booking; price, time and date. Less then an hour to arranged pick up time received another email with a change to the cab company who never turned up!

GAVE DRIVER WRONG ADDRESS, PAID EXTRA FOR WAITING TIME!

Waited an extra 20 minutes for the taxi to turn up, driver was waiting at the wrong place as he was told the wrong address. Got called by the person instructing and she was rude and unhelpful. They claim that if they're 15 minutes or more late they will refund 30% of the total price but they charged an extra £4 for waiting time.

Disgraceful

Booked a Silverline minicab to Kings Cross at 3:00 am.
3:05 I called the service, been told the cab was 2 minutes away.
3:15 I called the driver, barely able to speak English. Asked to walk with my luggage towards him in front of a Tesco nearby as he was waiting for me there.
3:25 No one in front of Tesco, called the driver, he got lost and asked me to come towards him (20 mins walk away).
Ended calling a black cab. They promised to refund the pre-paid fare, it didn't happen and as of now I haven't received any money back.

Failure.

Two taxis, booked in advance, were then subsequently cancelled by the companies due to being too busy, however the fares had already been accepted and taken from my account which apparently will take at least ten working days to refund. The delayed cancellation also meant I had no time to arrange for alternative travel. This caused me to miss my train and have to pay for a second ticket, leaving me out of pocket for £50. Poor show.

Taxi didn't turn up

My booking was confirmed on app and received a confirmation text but taxi hadn't turned up 10 min after the specified time. When I called the taxi company they said they didn't accept the booking so weren't coming and 2 hours later I received an email saying my booking had been cancelled.

Terrible service

I booked a cab from London to Heathrow. These people don't show up & when I call them with references number 2692076. They tell me they have a booking but its transferred & can't find booking now.
I had to rush for other taxi, luckily I could catch my flight.
Not at all a trustworthy service.

Awful

I don't mind waiting - and 10 mins late I called to be told I didn't answer my phone 30 mins before booking so the company cancelled my booking.
Shoddy. No cancellation received from company. Will avoid that company if option in future

Car did not arrive, had to call. Ended up 30 minutes late.

I ordered the car the night before to be sure to get it in time. When the car didn't arrive I called the number in the confirmation. That was the first they had heard about my booking. They dispatched a car, said it would be 5 minutes. Arrived after 15 mins. Lost 30 minutes in the end. Made the flight but not a great start to the day.
